  • How do you explain Proverbs 24:16? Does it mean the just (Christians) will continue to fall into sin but Jesus will lift us up? Or are we taking the Bible out of context? In today’s video we take a look at this.

it speaks of sinners, not Christians ... the Christian is called to live a holy life, the sin it's not the NORM of God, HOLINESS it's the norm, the fatalism do'nt exist, you can be holy because God tell you

Another problem that MANY Christians is make is that they wait for God to change their lives. Yet the truth is that we OURSELVES must cut off our hand (Matthew 5:30). God already gave us the power 2,000 years ago. What we must now is resist the devil - and he will flee.

I love you brother Collin and thanks for the message. I believe that people can stop sinning just from telling them boldly to ✋🏾 “stop sinning” , but let us not forget it is not from our on strength. It’s from the inner workings from the Holy Spirit. I’ve discovered this truth from discernment from the Spirit. One source I’ve read from on this subject is gotquestions.org . It says “The only way to break the cycle and stop sinning is to accept the fact that we cannot stop sinning. This may seem contradictory, but if a person does not stop trying to save himself, he will never rest in the knowledge that God has saved him. The joy of salvation comes from accepting the fact that God’s grace covers us, that He will change us and conform us to the image of Christ, and that it is His work, not ours (Romans 8:29; Philippians 1:6; Philippians 2:13; Hebrews 13:20-21). Once this reality is truly grasped, sin loses its power. We no longer feel the impulse to turn to sin as a means of temporary relief from anxiety, because the anxiety and pressure has been relieved once for all by Christ (Hebrews 10:10, 14). Then, the good works we accomplish in faith are done because of love and joy rather than out of fear or duty.”

Common objections to living holy. People should be ashamed to objecting but.... 2 Timothy 3:12-13 "Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived." godly = Strongs G2153 "piously, godly" While the Pharisees did what? Matthew 22:15 "Then the Pharisees went out and plotted to trap Jesus in His words." yet the proponents of "always gonna sin" try their best to attack and trip up anyone who preaches godliness while screaming and pointing "Pharisee!!". Oh the irony.

    [1 John 1:7]
"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."
    [1 John 1:8]
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

Colin, I have a simple question for you. When is the last time you committed a sin? It's a bit of a trick question because if you say you committed sin recently, then you prove that your not sinless. On the other hand if you say it's been 5 years since you last sinned for example, then you prove that your a prideful man.

[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” As long as we’re carrying around our flesh that wars with our spirit we will sin.

    I have a question for ya'll:
Romans 5:12 says "...so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" This verse is saying that the reason why people die is because of sin. James 1:15 teaches the same thing.
So if a christian is sinless, then they will not die. So my question to Collin is "do you think that you will ever die?"

Hey brother why you didn't put any videos lately? I missed you.
And about that verse I honestly don't know what it's all about but as usual I do believe we have to turn away from sin but
    Luke 17:3
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you,
rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
    Luke 17:4
And if he sins against you seven times in a day,
and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
Since Jesus told his disciples that if anyone sin but repent they should forgive them don't you think that God will do the same thing?
Not one repent and that's it. But a constant repentance.
    Isn't it brother?

I am concerned for believers who have fallen into sin and listen to your message and suffer hopelessness. God gave the church at Ephesus an opportunity to repent when they lost their first love. Can you consider that one of tactics of the enemy is to be unbalanced in the presentation of scripture to give people a false view that God has a zero tolerance policy. God knows the church had sin and gived space to repent. Rev 2 21.

If your "Christian life" is without any sin, why does Paul teach us to walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16) and that by the Spirit we ought to mortify the deeds of the flesh (Romans 8:13)? Why does John write that we might not sin, but that if we do we had an advocate with the Father who is Jesus Christ the Righteous, who is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 2:1-2)? Why does Peter teach Christians to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul (1 Peter 2:10)?
Who's entering heaven? Only the one who is sinless and perfect before God? What does the apostle Paul say?
"Not that I have already obtained this (the resurrection from the dead) or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own." (Philippians 3:12)
The Christian life is 1) justification 2) sanctification and 3) glorification.
Every Christian living on this earth is in the process of sanctification.
Every born again Christian has entered the narrow gate and is walking with Christ on the narrow path. They are saved, they are born of God, and are being conformed into the likeness of Christ, and they shall all be raised up in glory on the last day.
Only in Christ, by His blood, through the Gospel, does someone stand before Holy God without sin.
Do you know the Lord? Because the word of God indicates that the truth is not in you (1 John 1:8).

    Isaiah 56:1-8
    “Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
    And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Do not let the son of the foreigner
Who has joined himself to the Lord
    Speak, saying,
    “The Lord has utterly separated me from His people”;
    Nor let the eunuch say,
“Here I am, a dry tree.”
4 For thus says the Lord:
“To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths,
    And choose what pleases Me,
    And hold fast My covenant,
5 Even to them I will give in My house
And within My walls a place and a name
    Better than that of sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name
That shall not be cut off.
6 “Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants-
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
    And holds fast My covenant-
7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
    Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
8 The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says,
“Yet I will gather to him
Others besides those who are gathered to him.”
    Isaiah 58:13
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
14 then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

I don't believe fall means not to fall into sin. Yes it would include falling into calamity or the like. What about "wherefore let him that standeth take heed lest he fall"? Surely fall here means falling from grace; if you THINK you're standing fall into what? Depression? Undesirable circumstances? Maybe, but no, surely it would more so mean falling into such a state of mind that God seems far away and you no longer, for a season, seek God & feel your need for God, therefore more vulnerable to the tempter. "Lord have mercy on all those who watch this Collin guy who may've fallen into condemnation!" One may be "right" as this immature Collin is who has no compassion, but compassion & mercy triumphs over just being doctrinely correct. Therefore this man's ministry is a ministration of death. The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. This man is so full of himself and how "right" he is, crusading against those he considers not as right or righteous as he is. He is a follower of Mike Desario whom I love & respect btw. But even Mike was a cessationalist, meaning he believed the gifts of the Holy Spirit are no longer for this day & age, ie, they ceased after the first disciples. What does THAT tell you??? It tells ME he could've been wrong in other matters of the word & the counsel of God. Collin, if you have the heart to answer this, don't just throw some scripture verse at me. The letter KILLETH.

No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Something else to consider. Look at the preaching of Jesus and the apostles to believers vs non believers.
When believers were preached to, it was to grow them spiritually.
When non believers were preached to, it was to get them to accept Christ.
Both groups of people were preached to about their actions. Difference is believers were preached to that their actions should mirror their conversion. Non believers were preached that they were sinners and unless they accepted Christ alone and what He did, their actions would not save them, no matter how much some of them tried to follow the law.
I believe you're mixed in writings to believers to grow spiritually with the preaching to non believers to just be born again first.
A person can only grieve spiritually if their born again. Just like a baby in a physical sense. You have 2 humans and one is more mature but the maturity level doesn't make the baby any less of a person than an adult.

It’s very simple confess your sin and He is faithful and just to forgive your in Nd cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Notice you sin is referred to as unrighteousness. OSAS doctrine teaches that Jesus + unrighteousness = salvation. SLOWLY cleansing a person from sin I called “growing in Jesus”. Their is NO PEACE IN SIN. RUN from it Nd return to it no more. Sin separates us from God before the cross and after. This is NOT to say that a follower of Christ will not stumble and fall into a sin. BUT when the Holy Spirit, If in fact you have the Holy Spirit living in your temple, says to you it is sin, you do not turn from it Nd say “I am safe to do this” then the soul who sins shall die. The GOOD NEWS brothers is that Jesus died for our unrighteousness. So that we can be free from the wages of sin. NOT so that we can walk in it just a little longer. Turn from it! Run from it! WORK OUT your salvation with fear and trembling. OSAS doctrine is a spiritual anesthesiologist that severs the Godly sorrow that brings repentance that leads to salvation.

I read a comment you wrote about "what sin can a baby commit at birth".
Scripture indicates that even children have a sin nature, which argues for the fact that we are born sinners. “Folly is bound up in the heart of a child” (Proverbs 22:15). David says, “Surely I was sinful at birth, / sinful from the time my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5). “Even from birth the wicked go astray; / from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies” (Psalm 58:3).
Over-all man, if you are saying you don't sin at all, that is a lie. Proverbs 24:9 even says the thought of foolishness is sin.
Jesus even said: "everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
Paul even speaks on "the things I should do, I don't, and the things I hate to do, I do them". www.gotquestions.org/Romans-7-14-25.html
So, you and every other believer deals with an ongoing battle with sin/genuine struggles we deal with. The key is to keep getting back up every-time, until the day you die.
No where in the bible does Yahusha (Jesus) say "before you die, you better have overcame every single struggle".
There will be things we don't struggle with at all, and we can just toss them to the side like it's nothing, and never have to battle with it again...
But on the other hand...there are some things we may battle with for life. The question is, are you going to just give in to it? Or are you going to keep battling it, and getting back up if you slip up.
And no, I'm not saying "This is our excuse to sin". I'm saying "we have to actually try to overcome our struggles". God knows our hearts, and He knows who is actually trying (even if they don't overcome it before dying) and He knows who isn't trying at all.
Yes, the power of Christ is able to take us from all our struggles/sin, but God knew that it would be impossible for us to completely stop sinning 100% (because like I mentioned, even the thought of foolishness is sin). That's why Yahusha (Jesus) did what He did, died for all our sins, He was the perfect sacrifice (our perfect ceremonial law sacrifice), and in return, He ask that we don't use His finished works (his sacrifice) as an excuse to sin, but instead, to abide in Him daily, be set apart (aka be Holy) from this world, to TRY and resist sins...and if we fall...to get back up, and keep on trying...to endure in the faith until the end.
Jesus said "if you love me, keep my commandments", but on the other hand, Jesus knows we won't die perfect and sin-free.
