I came on YT to find some strategies for tingling in my foot (I’d injured the nerve near my big toe with hard plastic flip flops and even though I stopped wearing them at least six months ago, it still hasn’t resolved fully, yet.) instead I stumbled on this video and immediately tried it. The second (hip flexor) exercise helped my foot. Thank you! Right away it lessened the tingling. I don’t know if it’s entirely healed but I’m so happy to have these exercises now to utilize. And of course, my hips appreciate them, too!

Thank you! I am 83 and you have changed my life!!! Before covid, 4 years ago, when i fractured my spine i felt 39. I just kept getting worse and worse. Recently i hurt my hip to the point i could not take a step or move without agony. I started stretching with your videos and am somewhere in the 49s now as far as strength and feeling great.....the amazing thing is. It was almost immediate pain relief.

Thank you I’m 73 I skied in my 40’s through to my 50’s like all skiers I fell a couple of time a on Black runs crunching usually my hips. One time my ACL which left me limping for at least 9 months even after physio and seeing my osteopath.
My knee then my hip then my lower back jammed up causing extreme pain.
Doctors saying yes arthritis need injections or a hip replacement 😱
I saw a couple of your videos and came across this one which after 2 sessions my hip seems to be less jammed. I will carry on with these exercises and more as I come across them.
I pray God will enrich your talent as you help more and more people.. 🙏

Got diagnosed with FAI 8-9 years ago at 20. Had the arthroscopic surgery and whole 9 yards. Been worried this passed week as the dullness and feeling has came back, debilitating to sit, walk anything. Found your page and FAIfix. Looks like just what I needed. Looking forward to starting the program, using this as first course of action before anything else.

I'm 61. I just started getting hip pain, on my left side, out of nowhere about two months ago; even when lying down. I wondered if it was caused by an exercise bike I bought. It has a large seat that interferes with range of motion, so now I perch on the edge of the seat, and sadly I now feel less motivated to use the bike. The way this hip pain has impacted my walking and my ability to get down the stairs (I'm in a walk-up building) is alarming. I've added this to my Bookmarks bar. I'm going to try this routine regularly, and report back.

Did you feel any better? I have a stationary bike and it's kills my hips for some reason after I do it.

    • @user-lf3kr1nq2d
      @user-lf3kr1nq2d 3 місяці тому +1

@@martobeairn I have to admit the bike was a mistake, and I don't know if one with a narrow seat would be any better. A small folding treadmill would be better than a bike. In addition to Rovena's workouts, if you look up Miranda Esmond White she has a good video for hip pain (14 minutes, and free, unlike most of MEW's videos). Miranda is in her 70's, she moves like a teenager, so she seems to be the living proof they work. Good luck with your hips.

This video is exactly what I need and your story is amazing and it has been a blessing to come to know about your program …I’m excited to start…. I am 53 and turned down hip replacement after my osteo surgeon recommended I do so as the replacement can wear in about 15 years and I would be facing another… I have a sister 5 years older than I am and yes, she had a hip replacement and is now scheduled to have another surgery on the same hip as the lice has dislocated 😢
Your story of how you found ways to correct your skeletal issues inspired me to make the decision to heal naturally. My x-ray showed broken cartilage in my left hip and I was walking with such a limp full of pain because of the compensating and sciatic issues to follow all began 9/30/21.
I am happy to say I am not limping I. Pain half as much as before, my sciatic is healing well and is not painful and now am able to work on this video and have your DIY workout program to strengthen my body is another great way to continue gracefully healing on my life journey… Thank you for all you do Doc ❤🙏🏾

Just getting back to fitness, after gaining excessive amount of weight. I have been dealing with the Big C and 3 bouts in the hospital with cepsis and home fusions. I get very exhausted easily, but I have all intensions of returning to the sword. This video helped a great deal and I thank you for the video. The one video that called my attention to you was the Asian squat. I am working on the squat and am hoping by end of the year to lose weight and get back into shape. Again thank you for sharing. I would definitely like to see the full version.

I’m starting this today and would like the full instruction version. After dealing with right hip pain for 2 years, I’ve made an appointment on May 7 with an orthopedic doctor.
Had a left THR in June 2013 when it was bone on bone but right hip was fine. Sit too much for my job, tight hamstrings And weak Glutes. Had back surgery in 1992. Just sold my BMW K1600 GTL motorcycle because my hip ached after 50 miles. Left hip has been great since THR surgery.

I’m doing the Healthy Hips Program 1; I have so much pain in one hip & I now walk with one foot turned out on the side with hip pain. During the 1st set of exercises I was surprised that I could not lift either leg during the supine hip flexor lift. I’m hoping if I fix the hip flexors I can walk again; but can’t believe the pain I’m in..

before workout very stiff This is the workout for me can i do this every day? my hips are lock where i don't have any or very little range of motion. like hip openers well very hard to do. i have some reason why this is happening i had breast cancer in 2012 with Mets to bones and i also have one leg which is shorter than the other over 1 inch which really sucks but I'm not a push over and I'm not going to give up. at the end to work out my hips felt so much better and i can move better so i will be doing this workout

Despite being bilateral I only have symptoms in my right hip (in the left I have acceptable mobility), however with the other one I can't even tie my shoes, I can't sit cross-legged, It crack/pop....
I have found a lot of information on the internet, videos of exercises with bands, but I really don't know where to start.
