      But yeah, I'll try to upload something like that in the future.

    What people generally mean when they ask arm vs wrist questions is: is your wrist planted? If yes, then you wrist aim. Is your wrist not planted, so you can move your arm? If yes, then you arm aim. And therein comes your point, about still using your wrist even though you arm aim, and a bunch of different ways to do so. But that is the general consensus.

  • @ItsHari
    @ItsHari 3 роки тому +1

    Well, that explains it for a lot of people, if I had a hand cam it would look the opposite (wrist only) cause my range of motion is really high and I have a weird grip to compensate for that, but in reality, I use the arm as much as I use the wrist.

    I mix both. Arm aiming if the enemy is far away from my crosshair, and wrist aiming for micro adjustments.

    Was just on your channel looking at your technique for smoothness and see this video uploaded 18 seconds ago. Thanks! So this means when doing a smoothness scenario you move wrist first and then swap arm when you reach the end of your comfortable rom or do you move both simultaniously?

    • @INS404
      @INS404  3 роки тому +4

      I think it's both arm and wrist until I run out or wrist rom. It's also not limited to just smoothness scens.

      sounds like a nice thing, i recently switched to arm aim 3 days ago and i think this trick could be more comfortable too
      else you can use your arm for wider movements and wrists for the corrections or shorter ones(flicks too)

    Sdk had a vid on this aswell where he said "dont go to your end ROM of your wrist before using your arm" people that naturally wanna use wrist more than arm (me) tend to use wrist only and than when the strafe is longer than wrist only aim, you'll not be smooth at all eith your arm. Nice vid 👍

    kinda unlucky for some people I guess. My range of motion for wrist is fine for myself (comfortably move 45 degrees both left and right). n0ted can move like almost 60 degrees, which is crazy. Goes to show that you shouldn't copy players sens, especially if they're higher sens, cuz they prob will have a better rom. (don't quote me on that).
    Also, do you think better rom of wrist = advantage for ANY sens, not just high

      tensing your arm is a natural thing ur muscle does when making fast, precise movements. it should get tense for a second during a flick. don't let your arm be tense all the time though. try to make it relax when you're not actively in a gunfight. @@hone-pq7pp

    • @sergrojGrayFace
      @sergrojGrayFace 4 місяці тому

      Yes, but you need end of the flick to not be shaky, for that you need to have the right amount of tension and relax enough towards the end of the flick. Also, tensing up the arm for the flick doesn't mean you have to tense up the grip.

In kovaaks, a lot of scenarios include vertical aspect of aiming. Vertical aim is purely arm and you can't get away with resting your elbow. You can try to change your playstyle just to see if you like it better. Try having your elbow hanging off the desk. You can always change back if you don't like it.
