- This is my cover of the final guitar solo from Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb (PULSE Version). Original performance: Earls Court, London 1994.
Backing Track by Andrey Korolev.
Clearly, Pulse is the best version of this solo. Good job !
Couldn't agree more man, the whole show is just incredible! Thanks for watching!
The thing is I'm watching this performans more than the originak one!

Thanks for the kind words man, glad you like it!
Marvellous... 👌👏👏👏
Thanks Sid!
Fabulous work. I’m about 2 minutes into this on guitar. The high fret stuff is easily the hardest part for me.
Thank you dude! That part of the solo always gives me chills, Gilmour's phrasing in the middle section is just incredible. Definitely the trickiest part for me as well.
Best version I've seen / heard. Awesome!
Thanks Dwayne!
Absolutamente incrível. Amazing and Magic. 👍
Thank you dude!
One of the best rock musicians in the world! Everyone like this and I LIKE this video too. I support you!

great solo! can you send the backing track?
Thank you dude! The backing track is by Andrey Korolev and is available here: andreykorolev.bandcamp.com/track/pink-floyd-comfortably-numb-pulse-solo-backing-track
Only Gilmour could play this well
Thank you dude!
Wow..... 😮😮😮😮
Thanks for watching!
Really captures the song. Not overdone … tone right, playing excellent… is that a left handed strat played in right hand ?
Thank you dude! It's a right-handed Jimi Hendrix Signature Strat; which just has the reversed headstock and pickups rather than the whole guitar being flipped Hendrix-style :)
Wild - well great stuff, keep it up!@@kennyrieley
Einfach nur erste Sahne😊
Danke Marko!
You’ve got to give me your setup man! That tone is too killer to turn down. What gear were you using?
Thank you dude! I'm using the Line 6 Helix plugin and pretty much just following Gilmour's signal chain: Compressor - Big Muff - Tube Driver - Hiwatt amp and cab - Vibe Rotary - Delay - Reverb. Using a doubler effect as well for that wide chorus-y sound and the Vibe Rotary is to simulate Gilmour's Yamaha RA-200 revolving speaker. I'd definitely recommend checking out Gilmourish.com if you're looking for info about his gear and sound over the years, helped me a lot!
Great! Bravo! Can you give me the Backing track? PLEEEEEEASE☺
I can't pay for it on Andrey's Patreon
Thanks Alex! I can't distribute someone else's monetized content but it's available on Andrey's Bandcamp for $1:

Solid cover bud, tone is awesome as well.
What effects ya use?
Thank you dude! I'm using the Line 6 Helix plugin and pretty much just following Gilmour's signal chain: Compressor - Big Muff - Tube Driver - Hiwatt amp and cab - Vibe Rotary - Delay - Reverb. Using a doubler effect as well for that wide chorus-y sound and the Vibe Rotary is to simulate Gilmour's Yamaha RA-200 revolving speaker.
@@kennyrieleyIs that the effects chain order? Where do you place the doubler effect? Also, amazing playing! 🎸
@@RichInternationalAir Thanks man! Yeah and I'm pretty sure I had the doubler last in the chain but you could experiment with the placement to see what works for you; best to place all modulation after the amp though. You could try a chorus/flanger like the Electric Mistress as well since it was part of Gilmour's effects chain from Animals onwards I think. I'd definitely recommend checking out Gilmourish.com for info about Gilmour's sound over the years, I found it really helpful!
@@kennyrieley Thank you so much. Your attention to detail is great, I've only learned the 1st solo. It'll be some time before I learn the 2nd. And a great while before I learn this amazing version. Thank you again for being helpful. 🎸
@@RichInternationalAir No problem at all man, glad I could help! 🎸
Which boxes do I need to make the guitar sound like this for comfortably numb ?
I'm using the Line 6 Helix plugin and pretty much just following Gilmour's signal chain: Compressor - Big Muff - Tube Driver - Hiwatt amp and cab - Vibe Rotary - Delay - Reverb. Using a doubler effect as well for that wide chorus-y sound and the Vibe Rotary is to simulate Gilmour's Yamaha RA-200 revolving speaker. I'd definitely recommend checking out Gilmourish.com if you're looking for info about his gear and sound over the years, helped me a lot! If you don't want to use a lot of pedals, the Big Muff into an amp with a lot of clean headroom, delay and reverb should get you most of the way there!
@@kennyrieley Thanks for that Kenny ~ I'm just beginning bought an old black Strat and small amp 😄 Your comfortably numb solo is really superb if I can get anywhere near I'll be happy 😂
@@mjrtom102 Thanks man! No problem at all, have fun!
