I have always thought that youtube should be educational for viewers of all ages, disappointment is easy to find because google does not police its site, even adverts in many cases are a scam. Finding your channel today presented by a man that really knows what he is talking about is more than a breath of fresh air. Thanks Big Man.
Wonder how many gallons of oil that 8830 went through in a day? Judging by the river of oil under it. I imagine a lot. Here in the US tires you describe as "perished" we them "dry rot"/
Hi mick. Although the 88 looked ok it did look to gave a few issues. Later powerstar block, earlier door handle and if that oilslick underneither is from it that could be worrying. Great video. I really enjoy ur channel 👍👍
Good one, there was a 1594 exactly like that one sold at a farm sale near us, 5500 hrs from new, been on farm since new totally original made £14 something thousand, so euro auctions must be on the money
Great video. Watching you after Joe Seels. Traded in a better looking 1594 back in 1993 for £4750. Looks like I should have kept it! And the Ford 7740 I let go for £8k, or the 7840 for £10k……😢
I'm amazed the 88 made 12k 1 of the most unreliable tractors are family owned 1 traded 2 yrs later for 2nd hand 106.54 Renault and 565 Massy Ferguson 10yrs ago both still running perfectly to the very day
Can’t believe the scale of the euro auctions, good job they have the display with the prices as can’t understand a word the auctioneer says 😂. Thought the vintage tractors would have made a lot more but you need a big deposit to to get a bidding number so not so many private buyers go there. I love a good sale but never been 🤷♂️
Last Euro auction I went to, it was 10k for a bidding number. Kinda "focusses" the mind as you hand over the 10k in cash just so you can bid. Cuts out a lot of messing.. Then the guy in front casually buys 20 Cat excavators after being top bidder on the first one up the ramp - 100k bid.. stands on for the next 19 as well... 2.2million dropped & its just begun.. It's a great place to go to realise you are dumb/a pov & there are smarter fish in your pond.. :-)
Back in day 200 hp was huge stiger all wheel drives where 300hp now even 100 hp was ford 9600 was biggest thing now 100hp is to pull the wagon 50 hp is compact tractor
Surprised at the 88 unless it had a big surprise with it. Father had the little brother new in 90 the 8630 nice tractor but a bit under powered on step banks and if used for grain cart, I loved using it as didn't need the clutch other than for inching.
That Ford 4000 cab might have kept you dry, but it would likely have deprived you of your hearing. It was the sort of cab that led to the change in legislation.
I love old case in 60s case classic we where die hard case farm tell late 90s now i wouldent buy a case tractor we bought 2002 cx50 and brand new farmtrac 60 the case ben nothing but trouble the farmtrac a indian ford we have done nothing to it .

Great Video there guys! Very intresting... i would have had a unimog for 7k!
What is the buyers premium percentage? What is the terms of moving items?I always found these auctions a bit over the top and terms govern price
From memory buyers premium is 3% Needs to moved off site within 3 weeks
Really enjoyed that thanks, great range of items in the sale too. Couldn't be doing with that auctioneer though, where is this sale?
Euro Auctions, Leeds
Tune in to the patter and you'll pick it up - keeps it exciting and energetic
Hear in states guys use unimog for off road toy and some time in orchards big orchard farms
I guess the Ford came with the oil slick underneath as standard lol
What amazes me is the amount of $ that’s tied up in all these units up for auction. How much in £ is just sitting there
About £60 million

You make a good point mate . You would think some one would have turned it in for Iron . Nightmare moving a burnt excavator
Another great video and some surprising prices, keep up the great work glad I subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Great video I taught the 8830 would of done better the 1594 done well
Back in day 200 hp was huge stiger all wheel drives where 300hp now even 100 hp was ford 9600 was biggest thing now 100hp is to pull the wagon 50 hp is compact tractor
942 that Nuffield is an iconic tractor for a farmer .
I would have made £30k profit on that Unimog on the export market
No chance of a sticker for my toolbox ?😁
Can you do some Skidsteer please
Yes no problem. Next sale

bit of an Exon valdez vibe goin on underneath @ 6:55 might have had something to do with it
Wow that is brand new cat crazzy i remeber seeing lot of Jd macheanery burn up over years never cat
Please Address Tractor
I think there is a revolt against over complicated modern tec

What was all that oil under the 8830? Was this why she was so cheap?
Not sure it was from that tractor. Machines get moved around a lot there
There seems to be people who understands him.
The 8830 probably sold for what it did because it was pissing oil all over the place :-P
I’m not sure that oil was from that tractor. It was parked up elsewhere after auction and no oil puddles

Welcome to the GCS channel!
👍👍👍🇬🇧
The 8830 would be cheap at that price compared to the case 1594 , I drove a 1594 and they are a horrible thing compared to a sq cab Ford
