The look you had when deep thinking it through. I have been there several times. The knowledge that 'it's too late now' doesn't help much, but there's always another auction. Thanks, Pete!
I admire your ability to see what you need and not what you want. I love learning about tractors. I'm from the city but since I was little kid I love the sounds of tractors, steam engines and trains. Thanks for the trip Pete. Love to Hillary. God bless.
Thank you for taking me to the auction, amazing line of tractors. Really shocked me that you didn't purchase one. I really enjoyed seeing all those tractors. Thanks
Thank you, Pete I had a great time at the auction. I remember going to them with my grandpa as a 2-year-old and up. Grandpa put a cloth diaper in his overalls and off we went. Loved it when he let me "drive" the tractor! He had Farmall tractors, the best!
Thanks for sharing, Pete. Farmall Fanatic is correct - you'll never see another auction like this one. One of my friends back home (Sherrill, IA) said to me, "it's about the tractor(s) you grow up with." For him, it is the letter series. For me, it's the hundred and 06 series. People my age are now into collecting, and that's why you see the 06, 56, and 66 series becoming so hot. That, and the fact they're just incredible, cool tractors. RED POWER!
Great looking tractors all around and well restored. Where there are Farmall tractors, only the finest people congregate...good morning Farmall Fanatic! Thanks for taking us along Mr. Pete!
In 1994 I bought a 1066 from my neighbor for $4800. He also had 1468 for sale for $7500. Why on earth didn't I buy it? We all suffer the 'Should haves' sometimes. Thanks for this video, Pete!
This was really nice. I like that the owner knows the history behind some of the tractors. That’s a real plus I think. Shoulda, woulda, coulda bought that tractor you mentioned but you also mentioned you have some other obligation first. Oh well. Thanks
Thank You, I grew up on a 1206 and 1466 along with 560's, a 300 and an Oliver 990. My brother had a HYDRO 100. What an auction! Rapping em like that would have gotten us a head slap from my Dad.
What an auction ! I thought you were going to pull the trigger for next years restoration. Still time Pete! This was exciting to see all the RED ! Thanks for taking us along.
I very much appreciate ya taking us with you Pete, very enjoyable watching this ! Merry Christmas to you and your family and please keep the great video's coming ! ❤
I like how you explain things in detail dont hate but the JD 4010 that was beside the R is one of my favorite tractors thats because I one of my favorite people in life had one thanks for the memories ❤
You're very detail oriented too, ur remodels and rebuilds are amazingly beautiful! It amazes me how much you know about farm tractors and vehicles. How's your 100? truck coming along? I don't know if ur aware of the mess the "John Deer" farm tractors company is in, got not only a monopoly going but their farm equipment breaks down and farmers are forced to use the company technicians to repair their equipment at a very high cost and at their time convenience! Farmers are striking, losing crops and lands bcze of delays from the John Deer company! All kind of reasons and complaints, I feel for all of you farmers trying to make a living, you're one of the smart ones having and using older farm tractor models and being blessed knowing how to repair and refurbish them! I love ur channel, thanks for sharing! You're awesome! ❤😊
Pete, You are never wrong about anything, but without any malicious I have to correct you about the muffler and air cleaner. The system is to help the air cleaner. It is called an aspirator. The air cleaner spins the particles of dirt and as they fall the exhaust creates a suction to draw them through the pipe and blow them out. This is another example of a venture effect. These were popular in the 70s especially on Deeres out west. Love your content Pete, you are a special guy. I just sold some of my tractors of my dad’s as I realized that I would not be able to restore them. I kept his Demonstrator C that he bought new. He would not let the dealer paint it red so we had a white farmall when I was a kid.
Those are the Amish guys. Masters. In Seneca falls we have Martins and Stoltzfus guys are all over in CNY. They do everything from building barns to baking pies. Hard working folks. I just sold them a tiller last week.
Sorry Pete, but that is not an air preheater, but an exhaust aspirator. It uses exhaust throught a venturi in the muffler to create a vacuum which pulls any dirt which is swirling inside the intake precleaner out and expelled instead of going into the air cleaner. This helps the air cleaner last longer before needing cleaning or replacement.
Exactly correct I have been around a lot of these precleaners I had one on a 1066 the ones I knew about were an M & W after market set up don't know if other after market companies that made them.
@@joeherndon5815 Exhaust aspiratored aircleaners are common here in the midwest, especially on larger hp tractors. You don't see the exposed tubing like this older retrofit installation because most of that is under the hood now. Exhaust aspiratored aircleaners are also very common on combines because they operate in very dusty conditions.
At the beginning, you mentioned folks are moving away from the letter series .... Me and Pop have just bucked that trend. We have H & M's and just scored a Regular, F-20 & a T-20 last month. Thanks for the fix of iH 👍🏻
Pete if you can't find the 38" cast centers go with a 34' to 38" step up rim. I did that on my 966. Really worked well. I agree with those era of tractors appreciating. Would have loved to been there to see it all and maybe buy some parts or maybe a project tractor. Some of the tractors brought pretty good money and some seemed a little soft. All in all a very good auction.
It never ceases to amaze me the parts that are available at these auctions. I can see why you would travel great distances to go to them . Especially if there was a part or tractor you wanted . surely would be at these auctions thanks for sharing Pete. God Speed. ECF
Thanks Pete great to see you and Farmall fanatic together. I remember seeing lots of 1206s and 1066s selling for 5-6k at auctions years back. If we only had a crystal ball. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact our generation grew up with them like the previous generation did with the Ms and Hs. Very cool auction thanks again.
Thanks Pete for taking us to the auction the best one ever I loved all the different models. I sure would like to have seen you buy that 1456 straight shaft that sold for $10,250 new tires great tractor for your fleet. I just think the 1456 looks like a beast of a tractor. It had your name written all over it.😎
Hey Pete, Im from South Australia i am a big fan and have been watching you for a while now. you have inspired me to do hay my self on our little 10 acre property.
Thanks so much for coming out and making a video of the auction!! It was a pleasure to meet you!

That’s the way to hold an auction! Free food and drinks to lube up the crowd. I was impressed by how much stuff he had and his knowledge. Thanks Pete.
Jesse was an awesome host, and a great businessman (I mean that in a good way).
Nothing like me being able to go to a tractor auction and not have to stand in the cold. Pete, thanks for taking one for the team. Great auction.
Pete thank you for taking us along on the auction! The owner seems like a very nice person to do business with. Take care

Sounds like the seller has a good reputation and is an honest businessman.
I'm in Missouri and love seeing tractor auctions from other areas of the US (especially when Pete is hosting)
You seem to look happiest when you’re at auction or cutting hay. And when you’re with Hil.
I think you are right. And in the shop too.
That is an amazing amount of work placing all that hardware out for sale.
Good day to all.... 'Green Stuff'?!!!! So funny.
I felt your pain, Pete, but you've got the right attitude. There'll be more tractors next time.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Should have and could have are the most common thoughts I have every day, so I can definitely relate.
Farmall Fanatic has a great channel. He’s awesome at what he does and is very comical.
