Would a air tag tucked away in your equipment not have saved you a lot of searching, an inexpensive insurance policy. i only have the 1 tractor and have 1 hid just for piece of mind.

Superb channel - i've only just come accross you apologies for being late! *those red inox kennedy cutting disks are worth a mention chaps, they slide a bit easier and don't seem to dig in as much as other disks - couldn't comment on how they compare on 'lasting' tbf. Brilliant cutting disks tho. Can you move a workshop into Yorkshire please - love a company that goes that bit extra, it pays to be on it, it pays to make good equipment - it also pays to cover your backs and stay true to your ethos. 10/10.

Might be an idea do get all machinery with a Datatag. Something with GPS visual so you can track your equipment. Have a chat with your local police station for guidance 😢

there's some dodgy people about in all walks of life. looks to me like it's just the silage sides that are knackered .........might still be usable as a grain / muck trailer

Should really have the police there to avoid unwanted confrontation my man you never know what sort of mood or state of mind a person can be in would hate to see you getting hurt just a thought

The trailer had flipped over a complete roll wheels up in air and landed back of other side I was carting with the lad that rolled it

Unlicenced/underage driver? Landowner where it was found never questioned why it was parked there? I know UA-cam rules say you cannot name and shame but I am sure you can have a quiet word with all other hire firms within a 100 mile radius to make them aware of what happened Just puts up prices for honest customers.

Morning Michael. I guess “people” in authority have decided the “public” must make up their own minds if something is safe, animals are “forced” into the truck/ wagon, or whatever they are being herded. Oh yes moving people is also more profitable.

I live in Holbeach and saw this on its side we have a lot of these trailers traveling around here and mostly with young drivers and very often traveling too fast round corners -roundabouts and junctions and they are very often on mobile phones i sometimes think they forget what a dangerous vehicle they are driving …

In the early70s I worked for a farm machinery company and to save money on a deal for an old new Holland combine I had to drive it from north fife across the forth road bridge, to Edinburgh rear wheel steering and practically no brakes and no cab made for an interesting journey looking down from my high perch at the grey waters of the forth I decided I needed a new job

I had the same experience I was sent to big building site outside Edinburgh where they had a360 machine working at the end of the first week the site agent signed my timesheet and added a bonus as he reckoned I had done more work with my old3c2 than the tracked machine had lack of experience fixed by keenness

5 to 6 months and the customer just did disappeared and no contact you could do with that wouldn't take much to sort out that out and have it back out to hire but at least you found it

Them tyres are not a match! Would the rims be changed! Why not give the trailer back to save the hire and get it repaired.

As you say, its all very strange and we all have problems but, if I was in your shoes, there would not be any excuse that could be made. Thr stupid thing is the customer is on the hook for so much more than the cost of the trailer. There is the cost of the 5 months rental, and deprivation of your property.

I bet most of the damage was caused by whoever got it back on its wheels they are called wreckers for a reason 😢

I had almost the same experience hiring trailers when i had a trailer business. Rolled emptying beetroot. Left not knowing for three months. Hirers insurance paid out for the trailer. Took him to court for loss of hire and he went bankrupt as soon as he lost court case. I hope you fair better.

Michael! Put trackors on them trailers and all your equipment. There’s all sorts of people out there’. Imagine he left the grass to rot within it

Customers like that don't give a shit about those who hire them machinery should be named and shamed so other genuine business can be made aware of who the chancers are, you were good enough to hire it, they should be good enough to pay you for it.

It's not that bad. Replace ladder, and two side extensions. No.bother
