i wonder if some of the commercial stuff is being sold off for low money because it is not compliant for ULEZ zones, especially London. If you are a company with even occasional work in London, it makes it very expensive to run, very quickly. A fair chunk of the wagons will end up being shipped out to Africa where they have a second (or third) life
Like three kids in a sweet shop. I'm not far from Cheffins Ely saleground and thought that was big, but this place is huge. Amazing the amount of kit being sold, I thought everything was difficult to get these days, but it looked like you could buy anything you wanted. Good job I dont live near Leeds!!! Were the auctioneers Yanks? Sounded like they were cattle auctioneers.
As much as I love my Polaris there’s a firm near here selling a Suzuki Jimny van conversion on big tyres for £3k, it’s petrol but that’s great value and road registered.
Looked like a good day out. Wonder what the trac made 🤔 dunno what I’d think spending a good 20k on a jd tractor that had a fault. My mate keeps looking at 7.5t wagons for his tree work as there half the price of a 3.5t van.
Lot of this tractors looked pretty cheap as you scrolled through but I haven't a clue of condition and if they're all working properly. Are you not tempted at any other tractors to sell on our other stuff that's there?
Great video , I was helping out as a driver at that auction. It was great fun driving all the different vehicles.👍
Excellent video Richard glad you got the polaris for your dad he will be well chuffed early Christmas present for him 👍
Great video Richard best of luck with the Polaris a lovely machine

Great day out at auctions as long as you don’t nod your head Nice to have a day out
Doesnt matter if you nod your head sitting in front of a screen with a mouse, just dont need to be trigger happy.😁

Yea but you need more than driving licence to drive a 7 5 ton these days
@@tonyking7741 it’s not too bad for ag/hort/forestry rather than just haulage work
A lot of them vans probably aren't euro6 & with all these new low emission zones in Bradford & Manchester a lot of folk need a fresh van.
Nice vid 👍👍
Whats the gap van doing there

you troll here too?
The guy that started that up used to live next door to my brother....don't know if he's still involved in the business...
John deer sounds rough, lack of oil maybe & sold because of damage
Some of Those 30 series John Deere weren’t great and gave lots of trouble , I think your 6200 is a way better tractor , the. Polaris sounds cheap
Certainly wouldn't want to be paying a lot for one with low oil in the back end ,although if it was topped up you'd be none the wiser.
What I want to know is why didn’t they scap the metal handling crane?
