  • Our goals and dreams, often times, require a degree of physical ability to pursue. Our dreams of living and working on our ranch, Railhead Ranch, and the associated activities in the outdoors can be very physically demanding; they are much easier when you are in healthy physical condition.
    The Lady, Kloey, and I make physical training a part of our daily routine. The Peloton Tread is our newest tool for this initiative. In this video, we receive delivery of the Peloton Tread, go through setup, startup, and put it into use. At conclusion, it has been 77 days since delivery and it has been a significant value add to our lives, especially The Lady and Kloey.
    If you live to be 80 years old, you have only 960 months. It is important to take care of yourself to be able to care for and enjoy those around you as long as possible. We recommend the Peloton experience, without reservation, for those who see value in training for the demands of life and seek to maximize their 960 months.
    Check out Peloton online at www.onepeloton.com. Peloton is traded on the NASDAQ, symbol PTON, for those interested in investing or digging deeper into the company and their offerings. I make it a habit to check out the financial health of a company before buying their products, if possible.
    A very special thank you Mr. Diaz from M. Hernandez Trucking and his crew for the best-in-class customer service and delivery experience.

    Great video, my friend, thank you so much. You have now convinced me to repurchase - I’ve had the Tread before but returned it under the recall stupidly!

    This is very well done! I have a tread and bike but the tread I love ❤️. I mean, I watching videos about something I already have and have had for about a year! Lol

      Thank you so much! ☺️
      I know the feeling , we’ve had our tread now for about 8 months and I’m obsessed, we also purchased the row about four months ago, and it’s great-
      but I prefer my tread. 😉
      Couldn’t live without it, and I can honestly say I’m in the best shape of my life now- absolutely no complaints.
      My tag is OffWeGoPelo, - see you on the leaderboard! 💪🏻😊

    Nice video. Ours was delivered and installed today. They didn't provide a walk through and didn't align the belt. It was nice to see what should have happened. No prob really and the military discount for the swag makes it more worth it. We have the bike too, hopefully my lady enjoys the thread as much as yours!

    4-weeks into it now how are you feeling? We are doing some research on Treads and it’s hard to overlook the Peloton.

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  Рік тому +1

      Peloton is an interesting experience. The more we use it, the more we like it. The equipment is great; I weigh 210 and run quite a bit. This would beat the heck out of a typical 'home use' treadmill. The Peloton Tread holds up very well. Lady averages 3-5 miles per day, Kloey does around 2-3 miles per day, and I do one to two runs indoors, normally around 3 miles, per week. The software the distinguishing factor. The tread will sync with your devices for music, heart rate, etc... and displays everything in a neat, usable fashion, and integrates all the health data into the data the tread aggregates by default. With one Peloton account, you can have multiple users in a household, able to track individual metrics, stats, and pursuing different goals and objectives. If we knew the full capabilities, we would have gone to Peloton a long time ago.

    I’m getting mine delivered soon. Should you tip them after set up?

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  7 місяців тому

      I do t think this is an expectation of those who contract with Peloton. We’ve had a tread and a row delivered and set up, neither time did we have an opportunity to offer a tip, but they will ask for a review online. We were happy to accommodate.

    How is it holding up 1 year later? I’m all about Peleton, but the 3HP motor has me skeptical.

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  5 місяців тому +2

      I don't know how, but this thing is still going strong. Lady, alone, puts 30-40 miles on the tread weekly, training for endurance runs. I tend to add another 5-10 miles, and our daughter adds anywhere from 2-10, depending on how much she is using the row and how much time she is home from college. We have worn the center line almost completely off the belt. I've had to add tension 3 or 4 times, but it's still going strong. No electrical issues, structural issues, or real problems. No complaints here.

    Does the screen shake when you get into a fast pace and if you are a heavy runner.

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  25 днів тому +1

      We haven’t had this issue. I weigh between 200 and 210, depending on the time of the year and run fairly heavy footed, between a speed of 7 and 9. The only time it has moved at all is when the floor underneath is not level or too soft. It now sits directly on the wooden floor of a shipping container we converted to a gym, which seems to be better than the carpet in the previous house or gym mats we tried.

    Did you get the warranty? I wonder if it’s worth buying!

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  Рік тому

      Hi, I believe there is a standard warranty. I do not recall the details. If you are considering the Peloton route, the online subscription is a must. It's definitely not the cheapest option, but the total experience more than justifies the cost and really sets them apart. Also, it's a very simple physical system. With three of us using it daily, I've only had to tighten the belt once. They have great videos and support for any kind of maintenance or troubleshooting necessary. I hope this helps.

    Is the treadmill loud? I live in an apartment and worry about the resident that lives below my apartment.

    • @RailheadRanch
      @RailheadRanch  11 місяців тому

      Good question. Depends…. The loudest part of the tread is the speaker, but this is adjustable. Also, in the house in this video, I could be downstairs and would not be able to hear Lady when she was running at a full sprint, but my daughter (same weight) would wake up the neighborhood when she ran… just a different stride and heavier footed running style. Peloton equipment is high quality, but the value proposition is the data, instructors, and community from the interactive experience. We now have a Peloton Row as well. I am confident you could work vigorously on a row and not disturb a downstairs neighbor. Just a thought….

      @RailheadRanch  Рік тому +1

      @RailheadRanch  Рік тому

      I know we received some form of promotion, but it was just a general promotion being offered, not military or otherwise. This said, I think it was a heck of a bargain. I think we will soon be adding the Row.

    I was initially thrilled to get my Peloton Tread, expecting a quality treadmill at this price. Sadly, the reality was a letdown. Just a few months after the first year warranty expired, the base malfunctioned. Attempts to fix it were futile, leading to the frustrating conclusion that it needed a complete replacement. Certainly not going to throw in good money after bad and spend another $1300 for a new base. Trash.
