Woke up this morning to a gray and cold November fog, slowly slipping into my winter depression. Now I ordered a guitar, a fuzz pedal (my first!), pink cables, a box with Hello Kitty pleks and I feel that I found a way out of the blues. Its gonna be loud, pink and smiling all the way.
Not wild about the fuzz, but the guitar is intriguing. I stayed for Vixen’s sense of humor and amazing technical facility. That’s some creative playing!
I play an original HK strat. Always turns heads. Cool guitar, very much akin to the Frankenstrat of lore. Squire stumbled into a cool axe and didn't even know it then...
Glad to see they re-issued this. I wonder what kind of Alnico magnets are in the pickup? Sound like Alnico V magnets. I was wondering if the quality was on par with the Squier Classic Vibes. Tuners appear to be similar, although the white button tuning pegs are pretty sweet. Nice overview of the guitar, Vixen!
Thanks for a great demo of the guitar and fuzz. Your playing is fantastic! I loved the campy cutesiness of the first run of these guitars but I missed out on getting one. Squiers have improved since then so I may need to get one now. For sure I’m gonna rock a Hello Kitty Fuzz on my board! ☮☮☮
Love it! Excellent demo Vixen ❤🐱 I really dig how Fender went with kitty's bow-tie red for the inlay dots rather than pink on the older hello kitty squier, it makes it sit really nicely with the new headstock design.
