My first Pokémon game was a copy of soul silver I got from my neighbor's yard sale for 6 dollars 8 years ago. To this day it's one of the best purchases of my life.
My big sis always made fun of me because I watch cartoons and anime. I was so sad and I pleaded with her to watch this movie with me. First she wasn't even taking the movie seriously and was making fun of first few scenes. But when the movie was ending, she was literally in tears. She realized, anime and cartoons isn't just a joke. Since then, she never made fun of it.
Wow, what a great story, thank you for sharing. It's amazing how we can change people's perspective on things when they just give it a chance. She'll love the next few movies for sure.
To those of you who watched the movie when they were young, and then watched it several years later: First, you suddenly understand most of the humour, and second, it brings back that torrent of emotions, doesn't it?
It really does. I have decent ear plugs rn and damn... i get the chills down my spine and slowly piece by piece some scenes from the movie comes back to me ;;(

@@tetsuc4bra577 I'd be interested in what they could do storyline wise with them. Maybe Regigigas awakens during Spear Pillar. The Earthquake could be threatening to split Sinnoh apart at Spear Pillar, and he grabs into the earth, followed by the Regis who also awaken where they are located, and rush to help defend. I do question Heatran though. What do we do with him...
*Reloads shotgun* Hey guys, who wants to force the gen 4 remakes to be made WELL and not be a halfassed game that requires DLC (If you like SWSH, no offence your cool)
I don’t know why, but: Whenever I listen to this song, I automatically think of my childhood. How untroubled it was, how my friends and I would play in the woods, in the fields. How some specific scents would remind me of my childhood like the scent of a light summer rain, mowed lawn etc. And how I happy I was back then. To me, this song feels like happiness and sadness at the same time.
I listen to this song every year on the 27th August, the day I lost my sister. I always cry my eyes out but smile at the same time. This song holds more emotions than any other piece of music I have ever listened to. Don't underestimate Pokémon OST
I can't believe it's been 14 years. Goosebumps. Still one of the most beautifully melodical and resonate Pokemon songs ever composed imo. Brings me straight back to simpler times
I‘m normally not the person who cries a lot but this honestly brings tears to my eyes. It’s everything coming together, the emotions of childhood, nostalgia and this beautiful movie in combination with this wonderfully melancholic but also hopefully melody.
Guy: I just watched a cool movie Friend: What was it? Guy: It was about a ghostly creature haunting a garden trying to warn people that the personifications of space and time were going to duke it out and erase their dimension from existence, and the tour guide is tasked with uncovering the musical secret to save their town from the coming apocalypse. Friend: Damn, that's crazy, son. Super epic. Guy: I know, right? It's nothing like what I've seen from a Pokemon movie. Friend: ...I'm sorry, it's a _what?_
Me: And that's not even mentioning the ghostly creature's ability to put people into a possibly-never-ending-sleep filled with horrible nightmares. Yeah in retrospect this was a rather dark Pokemon movie XD Describe it exactly like that without telling people it's pokemon and they will probably line up to watch it. Then as it starts just be like: "Btw this is a pokemon movie. It's Pokemon I was talking about"
@@worstspytf2824 Until you rewatch it years later and realize that everyone except Darkrai's VA got fucked over by a screwed up script. As in, the lines did NOT make any sense grouped together.
I truly believe the Philosophical meaning of "Garden" is the Garden of Eden AKA The Garden of God. I feel as if those words meant that regardless of what you look like or who you are, people can peacefully thrive if we actually make an attempt to.
The rise of darkrai was a huge part of my childhood, this movie is why darkrai is my favorite Pokémon of all time. And the thing is it was also the first movie that ever made me cry, but yet it will still always and forever live in my heart, best generation with the best Pokémon movie.
The sad fact of him having the curse of giving people nightmares and not being allowed because people hate him, he is always lonely and people didnt realise he did everything in his power to protect them even giving his own life... Its the sad life of darkrai
There is not one song that comes close that hits me to my core than Oracion. Every time I listen, waves of tears come of pain, sorrow, joy, serenity, and... a feeling of coming 'home'.
This is hands down one of the best pokemon movie soundtracks.....So soothing and relaxing. Whoever created it... my gratitude to you , you created a masterpiece. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK....So rare to see a soundtrack without vocals in Pokemon that are so good like this one. Oracion is absolutely amazing
Explorers of Sky, In þe Hands of Fate and I Don't Want to Say Goodbye until þe credits. Also þe end of Special Episode 5 þat totally doesn't nullify a major point for Dusknoir's character arc during þe Special Episode. Not in þe slightest.
I’m not joking this is the first film I ever watched, I was 5 and I didn’t truly appreciate this song. I’m 13 now, I’m a guitarist and this song doesn’t only bring me nostalgia; this song is truly a masterpiece. Wow thank you

Even after many years, from seeing it in the movies, to thinking about this song while struggling in life. I always find myself coming back here to this video and to this song. I've heard it properly over a hundred times already, and it still has the same effect on me. It makes me feel sad for the people i've lost in life, for the struggles that i fought through, but still, it also has a calming effect and i even feel my body warming up a bit. Even now after all these years, i still love this masterpiece.
I uses to dislike Darkrai because of mystery dungeon explorers of time. But after watching this, I have new respect for him. And he is my new favorite legendary.
Im the opposite, i saw the movie before playing the game and i was so mad when darkrai turned out to be the post story villain lmao. Like you made a WHOLE ASS MOVIE about how darkrai isnt evil, come on
Yeah. PMD Darkrai is like one of my most hated videogames characters ever. The reason i love Darkrai as Pokemon, is because despite his look and power that make him looking like a first class villain, he's actually a well hearted Pokemon that helps others (or in case of Pokepark 2, he was a misunderstood antagonist). I hate his incarnation in PMD because they made him a fucking Bond Villain: not only they stripped him of what actually makes him Darkrai, but they also gave him a CRAPPY villain portrayal. WHAT THE HELL.
I used this song as the main theme of my longest run dnd character, a cleric who worships a goddess of love and someone who radiates that warmth with everyone around her. Who wants to help everyone. This girl has been through hell and back with her party, defeated the greatest of enemies and celebrated with the greatest of friends. Today was the last session of our 3 year campaign, and we won. We all got our happily ever after. Thank you for posting this. Its been a inspiration for me for a long, long time.
It’s like, even 13 years after it released and I watched it, this scene and soundtrack literally does exactly what it does in the movie, it stops, and it heals. And we listen. It’s timeless.
This next to Lugia's Theme are the greatest songs to come out of the Pokemon franchise. Yes there are other great songs from other Pokemon movies but these two will be my all time favorites. There was so much emotion put into these scores it's insane, I listen to them occasionally.
The amount of nostalgia feeling while listening this song is just Peak. Pokemon used to be my favorite anime during childhood everyday we would wait for a movie and watch it with my siblings hopefully it will never end😢😢.

I’ll never forget this movie. Watched it so much as a kid because I got very sick in Kindergarten, when it was new. This song is just special for that. The embodiment of how I feel with this movie
It has been over 10 years ago now! Watched this movie for the first time back in 2008, As a child, when I was in love with Pokémon. The games, the movies, the anime and the cards, I played and watched everything Pokemon! It was mu childhood! Now in 2021(still a bad year) with a horrific 2020 behind us, I came back to revisit my childhood. And I’m proud to say that I still love Pokémon and I forever will and I don’t feel any shame for it! If only we had a world like the Pokémon world, kinda hate this place tbh. I hope te see everyone that loves Pokémon here again in another 10 years! Keep the faith!

I found this song after years again and since then I hear it everytime I'm sad or when I don't know what I should do in a situation, idk if someone can relate but this song means so much to me not only because of the film... It's a masterpiece.
I'm convinced if the world came together and listened to this masterpiece, everything would be calmer... truly means so much to me, I can't comprehend how a human could write this beautiful piece. And it does calm, it almost feels like it mends all wounds just like in the movie
Well, we won friends, we finally got our remake ❤️ What a generation, what a childhood, what a movie, and what a bloody song Nothing can make me feel as whole as what gen 4 does, thank you for sharing this song, even if it was all those years ago
This was one of my favorite movies as a child, for the soundtrack, the visuals, but the message is the thing that even as a kid got me, why would someone save their enemy? I watched the movie again today and tears just ran across my face honestly
I never knew until this point that someone uploaded the proper version to UA-cam. The Sinnoh movies will always be absolutely incredible. And in the world of Pokemon...Sinnoh will always be MY home. This song brings me to near tears. And I don't cry out of happiness easily.
First pokemon movie I've watched. Recently rewatched it and thr nostalgia is killing me. It's not just this movie. All the pokemon movies, games, mystery dungeons, I miss the times where I could just chill and play pokemon or watch pokemon
Even if you haven't seen the movie, this song could probably give anyone chills. The emotion in it is high, and I don't think anyone could not pick up on it.

What a beautiful composition from Shinji Miyazaki. It has so much feeling on every note. The combination of instruments is perfect. A masterpiece no doubt :)
I still love this movie to this day. I saw it back when it played on cartoon network back in, oh god, 2008 or 2009 I think? Since that movie, Darkrai has always been my favorite pokemon.
Just rewatched this movie yesterday, and my little brother and sister got to watch it for the first time. When this part of the movie came on, I shed a few tears. A wave of nostalgia hit me, and by god, this theme is so fucking gorgeous. This was my favorite pokemon movie when I was little, and I'm so glad I got to watch it with my little siblings, they absolutely loved it. This movie is by far my favorite of all the pokemon movies.
Masterpiece, no matter the times that I listen... the memories of me being a 6 year old kid listening for the first time this... that melody grow up with me till this day. I'm 21 now... time flies and Ash leave's the anime now so... thanks again to this franchise cause this is not a game or anime... this is part of my life❤
god i always forget just HOW good oracion is. like the leaf whistle is good and then this grand piece just blows it away. shout out to the composer for this one
I just want to add that darkrai took a hit from both the 3rd strongest Pokémon and the 2nd strongest Pokémon by total base stat and yet it sacrificed its life for the ones that hated him and is definitely the most kindhearted Pokémon even though it might not look like it

Absolutely one of my favorite things, a piece of art touching my heart, gives me tears; a reason to keep affection to Pokemon at any age, and having Darkrai in my best ones, at top.
darkrai is and always has been my favorite legendary, but this movie helped cement him in that spot even more. the fact that even though he was ostracized by most of the city he still gave everything he could to not only protect the garden he made his first friend in, but the city she lived in
I saw a tiktok that referenced this and it awoke a serious memory for me. Instantly searched for this and found this from 15 year's ago... it made me very emotional. I was 8 when this came out.

Oracion, "It means prayer." Pray on, for a brighter future. This is my personal favorite piece of music - there are many I love, but Oracion touches my heart in ways that no other piece has. I hope this enriches someone else's understanding of the piece :)

Here here!
Gen 4 remake coming soon! Now with Giganta Max!
And heatran and regigigas are just there, lmao
@@tetsuc4bra577 I'd be interested in what they could do storyline wise with them.
Maybe Regigigas awakens during Spear Pillar.
The Earthquake could be threatening to split Sinnoh apart at Spear Pillar, and he grabs into the earth, followed by the Regis who also awaken where they are located, and rush to help defend.
I do question Heatran though. What do we do with him...
*Reloads shotgun*
Hey guys, who wants to force the gen 4 remakes to be made WELL and not be a halfassed game that requires DLC (If you like SWSH, no offence your cool)
Happiness and sadness at the same time, spot on!
I'd say it feels like peace.
Don't you feel like these moments felt like you were in utter peacer with yourself and everything around you?

well oracion DOES mean prayer...also tears of life in addition to lugias song and oracion....the trifecta of pokemon instrumentals
I can't believe it's been 14 years. Goosebumps. Still one of the most beautifully melodical and resonate Pokemon songs ever composed imo. Brings me straight back to simpler times
First movie to cry as a kid. Now I'm 20 and I still do whenever I rewatch the movie.
I‘m normally not the person who cries a lot but this honestly brings tears to my eyes. It’s everything coming together, the emotions of childhood, nostalgia and this beautiful movie in combination with this wonderfully melancholic but also hopefully melody.
Guy: I just watched a cool movie
Friend: What was it?
Guy: It was about a ghostly creature haunting a garden trying to warn people that the personifications of space and time were going to duke it out and erase their dimension from existence, and the tour guide is tasked with uncovering the musical secret to save their town from the coming apocalypse.
Friend: Damn, that's crazy, son. Super epic.
Guy: I know, right? It's nothing like what I've seen from a Pokemon movie.
Friend: ...I'm sorry, it's a _what?_
LOLZ!!!
Exactly, I'm sorry but this may be the best idea for a Pokémon movie ever, and was executed excellently
It's the best
Darkrai: "THIS GARDEN'S FOR EVERYONE!!!"
Saphira Luxray dude you gave me tears
Saphira Luxray didn't Darkrai say "THIS GARDEN IS EVERYONE'S"?
I truly believe the Philosophical meaning of "Garden" is the Garden of Eden AKA The Garden of God. I feel as if those words meant that regardless of what you look like or who you are, people can peacefully thrive if we actually make an attempt to.
Swarm Striker the name means prayer in Spanish of course
That's very interesting! Further reinforcing my belief/theory. :)
The nostalgia is real. Can't believe this movie came out 10 years ago.

We can thank Shinji Miyazaki for this beautiful piece.

It is actually a mythical
Flovver So what? Mythicals counts as legendaries.
@@commandixnostalgia2321 nope, they're different from each other
Im the opposite, i saw the movie before playing the game and i was so mad when darkrai turned out to be the post story villain lmao.
This movie is why I never stopped loving Pokémon
Feel dat
I used this song as the main theme of my longest run dnd character, a cleric who worships a goddess of love and someone who radiates that warmth with everyone around her. Who wants to help everyone. This girl has been through hell and back with her party, defeated the greatest of enemies and celebrated with the greatest of friends. Today was the last session of our 3 year campaign, and we won. We all got our happily ever after.
Thank you for posting this. Its been a inspiration for me for a long, long time.
Happy New Year everyone! May 2022 be a year full of blessings.
It’s like, even 13 years after it released and I watched it, this scene and soundtrack literally does exactly what it does in the movie, it stops, and it heals. And we listen. It’s timeless.

Absolutely one of my favorite things, a piece of art touching my heart, gives me tears; a reason to keep affection to Pokemon at any age, and having Darkrai in my best ones, at top.
Back then as a child my eyes are flooded with tears and now several years later at the age of 20 my eyes are still watered.
darkrai is and always has been my favorite legendary, but this movie helped cement him in that spot even more. the fact that even though he was ostracized by most of the city he still gave everything he could to not only protect the garden he made his first friend in, but the city she lived in
