Thank you very much for this guide ! It was a little bit difficult for me to use this build at begining (my first character in LE) but now, since i reach a certain amount of mana, i'm like a god with my glacier !
im lvl 91 and cant kill any boss bcuz im out of mana.. i changed arcane ascend to focus, but still pain... x_x

I made one change and added ice barrage when my 4th skill opened up at lv 35. That upped my single target by a lot instead of leveling teleport. Also makes it easier when I swap to the end game version.
Quick feedbakc regarding the written guide: With the listes skill tree, we need lvl 85 or so, to start using frost wall (because it needs 15 points in Runebinder). Wouldnt it make sense to get it a bit earlier?
You use focus prior to that for mana, as its hard to build that much mana early on.
Editing it better, so people don't miss it.

Hi Lizard, maxroll written guide says NOT to convert frost wall cold to lightning if you manage to get eterra catalysts. Could you clarify why? I thought it would be the opposite?
Its because frost wall would proc lightning infusion from the relic if its converted to lightning. You don't want lightning infusion to proc. The relic is only used for the double cast speed when you can get it with cast speed as a legendary affix. Otherwise it's pretty useless relic and good exalted crystal skull relic with critical multiplier/mana and t7 cast speed would be much better

I tried the maxroll leveling guide with glacier but kept running OOM. Its ok though with mana strike as long as you don't take nodes that reduce mana gained by 80% to make it ranged too early.

Is this better than the static orb spark charge version ?
The main advantage is mana sustain. Glacier has amazing mana sustain if you stack max mana. Static orb is the opposite, it drains mana like crazy, meaning you need to use Focus to get mana back

Yeah, I've reached level 70 as the build suggests and respected into this build and how am I supposed to get frost wall which requires 15 levels in runebinder? If I follow the suggested path of passives I have like 2 points in runebinder. Somehting doesn't make sense
The guide is pretty deceptive. Don't waste your time playing this until way late game. It is extremely frustrating to play with out tons of mana and crit chance. I'd recommend something else and swap to this when you have good gear for it and several of the uniques rolled with 1-2LP.
Its explained in the frost wall skill section. Did a bunch of red highlights so its harder to miss.

Reason the loot filter has hide all items?
Loot filters go top to bottom, so if the item doesn't match any of the filters, the last filter is hide all items to hide everything you're not looking for.
still my mana not regeneration with bosses, but with mobs working good, what i do wrong? im at +1300 mana

Forgot to mention this is very end game version. It's absolutely unplayable on bosses before you get like 1500 mana because you just run out and doomge. Yeah, it was a little implied, but could've been said more openly to not even try before you stack enough mana
This isn't like the other glacier builds. You don't run out of mana it fully sustainable since the high crit chance gives tons mana back. So your probably not crit capped.
@@xferone not really im playing a very similar version since lvl 1 and im still using focus :) but yes he did say early game so wouldn't be crit cap. curious as to what corruption it can get to
Right? I dont recall this being mentioned once in this video or on the Maxroll guide which is very disappointing. The guide even mentions how its great for starting out on and in the guide it mentioned that the Uniques aren't mandatory several times... my ass lmao. Its an absolute struggle bus grinding up towards 1k+ mana and is extremely frustrating to play. Brutal when guide creators are so deceptive..... You see the same thing in POE as well. Extra disappointing because I generally look at Maxroll as very fair and un biased with their content... maybe Last Epoch is to niche so the QA falls though the cracks?
Gameplay with 1000 mana at the end of the vid. Make sure your crit is capped if you are strugglih with mana at 1000.

How do you kill Empowered Monolith bosses - I am lvl 83 and omega struggling with mana and the fights end up being 15-20min brawls

its because this content creator was deceptive with how poorly the build performs before you start getting 1.5k mana and near 100% crit cap. Real shame generally Maxroll guides are much more un biased and are fair with the strengths and weaknesses of builds.
The weapon is absolutely mandatory as with almost triples your DPS. Before that it is really pain
Why does the enemy become invulnerable with the blue shield thing around their health after taking a few hits from glacier? Its really confusing.

@@zmollon ohhh so it’s just a barrier to break to continue your dps hmmm I don’t think I love it.
@@YaboyWattsit's to help mitigate the difference in dps builds and damage builds. Since dps builds have to dodge mechanics and can't maintain dps to be competitive they gave the bosses ward. The ward is big numbers but drains relatively fast, evening out the kill speed for dps vs burst builds.
amazing build... but i am using your loot filter for glacial sorc. and i have now grinded for around 200 hours... i have found ONE SINGLE ITEM in all that time and its a crappy rolled wrongwarp (wich i still have no clue why its good or why we use it lol) are you certain you dont have sentinel and rouge filters mixxed up with the sorc ?? i would imagine after 350 monoliths i would have found ONE SINGLE ring at some point with int. on it ?? or does it require 4,912 hours of grinding to get 2 items ?
The exalted rules for recolored purple are for tier 6+ INT and the PURPLE recolor is for tier 7 INT. Both green recolor is for total tiers added to at least 6 and does include INT.
If you've only been looking at purple recolors it seems a bit harsh and you should change it.
I've been playing frost claw and while powerful it's just not fun. Looking at Glacier and I would def change the requirements to recolor.

i’m at 1k mana 91% crit and i’m oom while fighting boss at 393 corruption. feels bad. it’s soooooo good for mobbing but for bosses it’s gonna be super difficult unless i get 2k mana which is by far the hardest shit ever
Hi I'm often getting cold overload debuff do you know how to avoid this?
I think you got the wrong scale of etera offhand, one with cold / fire or cold / lightning you need one without cold in the text.
@@hilding2063 I was trying to find what can be root cause and I was thinking that key is in some spell order, but now it's clear for me. Thank you a lot Sir!! I just didn't expect that they are different types of this artefact 😀
how to avoid the Cold Overload debuff
take a scale that's fire and lighting
Get the right scales and do NOT convert frost wall to lightning.
Only use Scales if u get a GG legendary one.

Build is insane for mapping, but super rough for bosses. You wind up running out of mana fast. Yes, Im crit capped.
If you like being OOM on bosses fights, this build is made for you
guess you haven't played this build then? It doesn't run out of mana when you have 100% crit. I can even sustain mana around 90% crit
@@xferone How on earth do you get that high crit??..it says spell critical chance 58% in my character sheet...and im lvl99 and progressing on advanced to end game gear now.What is scaling the crit chance in this build im confused.
Ok i noticed my catalyst had 3%spell crit i changed to my old with 6 %spell crit ..so im on 80spell crit now.but still dont c elsewhere i can get the last 20%::?
@@frodehansen7406 do not trust the in-game tooltip for crit chance. Calculate it by yourself (5% base crit+ 6% base crit from catalyst+8% base crit from resplendent frost= 19% base crit then multiplied by 3% increased crit chance per int from calculated destruction and mountain helm)
@@frodehansen7406 stack more intelligence, Calculated Destruction passive says spell crit chance is increased by 3% per int
I specced into this at lvl 75, and i dont have enough points yet to even get frost wall. I need to be like 86 i think...not really mentioned in the guide so i have one less skill

Apparently its easy to get 100% crit for spells but im somehow 40% off even with peak of the mountain on 👌
Glacier's node "Resplendent Frost" near the bottom of the tree doesn't show on your character sheet, so as long as you have that + Peak of the Mountain and some spell crit, you should be okay

levelling with this atm at 42 and its terrible so far lol.
I'm having no troubles with this build. Level 40 on mine and still 1 tapping large packs.
I felt leveling was quite clunky and slow up until you hit about 50 or 55. I'm 62 now and flying through the game. Once you get your mana up to like 300 or so the dmg is much more consistent and feels so much better. Up your mana and cast speed, and as you get more passives, the build suddenly clicks. Get mana regen where you can.
@@Surfinn mana is at 333 and still sucks, 2 or 3 casts and im oom and just running about.

With ward nerf it might not be as good as people claim it is.
go look at the top left of the screen.
Its actually amazing and 12k ward is plenty. His gameplay if from the new patch BTW
disclaimer. this build is shit to use if not min maxed playing this at 60-80 Level feels bad

If you are a Dad/Chill gamer stay away from this build. the build feels shit to play lvl 1-95 . You need Min Max Items and Billion Gold Idols to make this build work. In summay the build is for RMT's and No Lifers
