- Hello everyone, my name is Rabbit and today i'll be showing you how you can go from a fresh level 1 character with nothing to clearing endgame monoliths in just under 2 hours!
I'll be playing most of the campaign at increased speed so you don't have to sit around all day, but I have some valuable information spread throughout so I'll be timestamping everything!

@@Bowyang I didn't. Part 1 was a copy of my very first character of the cycle that I rolled offline for a fresh start scenario. I did the exact same thing here on it, I just didn't want to continue farming offline to get a key just for the video.
I didn't have any intentions on continuing to play on offline after I hit monoliths, I just wanted to show people how it could be done starting with nothing.

i played along, didnt made it in 2 hours, but almost, i might have wasted some time killing big packs following me into choke points like bridges to get a bit more early on XP ^^ its a good guide, you dont need to follow it 100%, its still better then normal campaign, thanks man!
Glad you enjoyed! You'll get used to the run and get faster. The first time I did this run it took me like 2 1/2 hours and then the next time I was under 2. With leveling uniques I could sit under 1.5 hours pretty easily which is so nice for making alts!

Video was getting long so I'm going to make a part 2 that covers the temporal sanctum dungeon skip and finishing act 9! It's very straightforward, just clear the dungeon and exit out of the back after the boss. From there just follow the main quest in chapter 9 and finish up your passives/idols.

Love the guide, very helpful. One point, I see you do what I'm seeing a lot of people do and that is dragging items out of your inventory to dump them. You can just Shift+Right Click to dump them way faster.

i've done the full campaign with all side quests 8 times now before any of this campaign skip was available. i'm happy they've added this
While the campaign is good, it's a massive time commitment any time you want to make a new character so I'm glad LE has good ways to skip it.

@@nordvirus6671 Yea, I play solely HC Poe and i'm just so sick of going through the campaign constantly. I'm not the fastest, but I can get a char to maps in 5-6 hrs and that still feels like forever.

A lot of people playing hardcore play campaign up until 7 (after killing tree) and then farm monos and later when they have temp key go back to just kill chapter 9 boss. Is a bit safer and works great as well.
Haven't played the game since EA launch. Deleted all saves and getting ready to start playing again.

How can I leave 69 likes to this video? AMAZING, THANK YOU ! I did it slower ofc by following this guide but man not having to be stuck at how to find quests for idols/passives saved me a lot of time and nerves...my last character I've done main story only and not only I didn't have most of the quests in my quest list, but I didn't know where to back track to find them and which ones to do...I spent more time finding side quests after campaign than the campaign itself....horrible experience.
Part two should be up later today. Got everything recorded for it, just need to make the last few edits and upload!

Great vid dude, on the written guide at point 32 you refer to the "Risen lake" on imperial era as "Ruined Lake" that's a minimal suggestion to edit for someone that's just using your txt as reference

A note at 4:50 you mention talking to the NPC? You don't need to do this, you can skip him and go directly into the storeroom and act as though you have the quest anyway.
At 6:30 you can talk to her and the second you activate that 'RP' section, you can immediately teleport back, don't have to watch it.
I will note at 10:33 ... you no longer have two choices, something about the other NPC is bugged so you can not get the necklace reward right now.
At 11:18 you were DRAGGING items out of your inventory, just Shift+Right Click, it drops them on the floor ... much faster!
At 13:00 you can ignore the rude guard, just run up top and talk to him, can avoid the first half of the chit-chat.
The HC run ends at 6:37. verry good so far :)
Great content! Playing my first time and made it to monoliths. Seems like I can't get any gear in the monoliths that will be an upgrade because I'm under leveled for them. In my head I'm feeling like I may be behind on gear if I'm not able to grab any upgrades. What do you think about this? Should I just be under geared until I hit those levels?
You should be crafting any big upgrades you need while you're leveling in monos. Check the vendor and the gambler. You should get to your 50's pretty quickly where you'll be able to start wearing the mono gear.
Definitely a great way to level for softcore. I’d argue going acts 1-7 then monoliths is probably better for hardcore.
Yeah you can definitely do it like this. Some people like to go all the way through Heoborea and then skip, that way you unlock the arena waypoint and then you still get to skip lagons act.
I'm surprised you didn't shortcut most of chapter 3 with Lightless Arbor. Unlike the other dungeons, it's pretty doable at the level you actually get to the entrance.
This guide is more centered around not having any dungeons keys as if it was a fresh account with the goal being unlock temporal sanctum and then go farm monoliths until you get a key. If you already have keys on alts then you could potentially skip using lightless arbor, there are several side quests in chapter 3 that I do for passives so not sure what i'd substitute them for if I skipped that chapter.
What are you looking for (generally) on items as you go? are you looking at the base for a fast low tier craft or at the rolls it has?
Typically the rolls it has or a good base. For armor i'm typically looking for resistances. For weapons I'm looking for flat and % damage for the most part. It just depends on your build
You don't need to talk to he guy when going to the storerooms. He'll wait for you outside if you go straight to the storerooms and destroy siege golem.

You don't. Just need to run near them.
i wish you could have slowed the game down everytime you update the build while playing. Or is there somewhere were I can read up on this exact build???
if you have leveling uniques and a ready key, would it be faster doing the lightless arbor skip after picking up the idols and passives in chapter 2, completing the corrupted lake quest and running straight to the ship and unlocking temporal sanctum, completing it and just doing the main quest and idol + passive sides in act 9? you will get your idols and passives maxed out from this iirc.
Yeah if you had the keys then you could potentially do this, as long as you knew where you were going to get all of your passives and idols then you could definitely skip with lightless arbor. I haven't done it personally so I'm not sure if it's faster/slower and what changes you'd have to make to do so. Might try that soon.
You can choose your faction at the very first town on alt characters
but you cannot use them until you get to the city and talk with them again, you only gain favor and the benefits of the ranks/drops. no prophecies at the start

As of right now it seems like you can only get Avarice.
it's very doable. did my second char like this, but you do need a proper build otherwise you're gonna be lacking DPS, which is a pain.
Yeah some builds, especially full minions builds kinda struggle in early mono's since your minions die a lot.
I just did monos as soon as I hit 15 and got VK mastery, went surprisingly well tbh. Not the best twink gear either
Yeah some classes can do mono's super early. I did a few on cycle start at level 15 because the servers were basically bricked and it was pretty tough but I scraped by for a while until they put some hotfixes in. With some good twink gear you can easily do it early, but you'll have to double back and do your side quests anyway so I like to wait personally.

Did this whit my thorn totem build. Tried monolith lvl 20, felt so underpowered and went back at lvl 27 and been doing them since.
Hey, can you share some of your methods. I'm currently playing a druid primalist with Sprigan form and feel under powered at lvl 40. What affixes and modifiers do you try and focus on and maybe some skill nodes you think need focus and some that may seem good but should be avoided.

Create a character, ask someone in chat (or a friend) to open your portal to the end of time, and then to the factions, done!
That is definitely an option, you'll still have to run around the campaign collecting your passives and idols but there are definitely ways to speed things up if you have help. You can even have your buddy pre-farm the stability in the last 3 timelines and then you teleport into the boss room of each, immediately unlocking empowered monoliths.

You can do this on a fresh account
any tips on lvling on monoliths, i played a primalist minions based build and 35 to 50 was a painful long trip (i gambled and forge the gear but i only feel power after lvl 45).
Minion builds struggle pretty hard in early monoliths because most of the time your minions die before they can kill most mobs. Just take it slow and stack up some minion health and damage, as much as you can.
Is this doable with any build or is it the base dmg of glacier that allows you to be underleveled most of the time?
You can do it with any build but some are faster than others. Glacier is a very strong leveling skill which does make things easier which is why this is a 1.5 hour run. You can still be sub 2 hours with any other class even if your leveling build isn't as strong.
Hey, small tip. You don't have to talk to most npc's. Example the keeper guard. Just click him to trigger the event, then you can immediately port back to town.
Just so you know you can no longer talk to the gambler for the erza's ledger quest, also I advise swapping magma orb for glacier when you unlock it as it works on large enemies very well, but I suppose it is personal preference

Doing this you are still missing some idols / passives, you also need to do soulfire bastion and finish the quests around there to get the last of them. Otherwise good guide however it would be nice to have explained that as well.
The last passives and idols are obtained in chapter 9 after you've cleared temporal sanctum. But you could get them before if you really wanted.
Wait... the time portal thingies have an animation? I just get instant loading screen..
Some of them do, theres like 2 or 3 in the early campaign.

You need to have the quest from the Shrine Maiden in the Oracle's Abode before the door will open.

You have to unlock the entrance on each character as well as unlocking the End of Time to get to monoliths and your mastery. If you have a friend then they can just teleport you to the temporal sanctum entrance but really I'd just follow this guide. I have a step by step version in the description. It'll get you where you want to go quickly.
Now imagine how fast this would be if you use legendary uniques that you have on your main

One minimal thing you can do, is skip talking to the npc for the storerooms sidequest, I normally just go in, kill the forged soldier, and I'm done
I believe I tried that once but the entrance to the storerooms wasn't open so I had to go back. Could be wrong but I feel like you have to be on the quest.
@@themaliciousrabbitnot at all, it's the western entrance, instead of going north after the boss, go west, and you'll see it. I've died too many times on HC, so I've done this portion like 25 times before and after release, it still works 😅
Is there a way to get Temporal Sanctum keys? I'm level 75 now, done 7 monoliths already and no key drop. I dont know how to fast progress my campaign!
No specific way. Looks for the chests in your monoliths, you can find one that gives you one of each key.
Do the Monolith Levels that have a KEY on them ... or join Circle of Fortune and get Prophecies for keys that way.
hi i did the skip at the ruined world quest when u port back to town so its quicker but it bugged my quest and now i can not complete it the guy is not in the town and when i go back it just says go threw the door to the town but then doesnt do anything :/
Did you do both steps? You have to do the symbol of hope quest in the welryn docks as well. I've done it the same way every time and i've never had any issue with them bugging out. Just make sure you have everything in that town done. You might not even have to do the symbol of hope but i'd check it out anyway.

Yes, you'll still kill Majasa at the end of chapter 9 and get +1 all. You don't have to fully complete the campaign to get this bonus.

Yes you can use your key and have him tag along. If he's low level he might even be able to just teleport directly into the cache room and just walk out the back door.
Gambler is still bugged and you cannot get the amu
I’m jealous. During a two hours play through I’d have lost connection at least 15 times.
Imagine trying to do this on launch servers. Went from a 2 hours to 6 real quick lol
I follow the guide but with a rogue full gear since I've already another charlater. It's take me 5 hours lol. For do two hours, you need to know perfectly your class, but the real problem is when you are 3X (me 36) when starting monolith, what's the goal? The gain of xp is not better than when you kill monster from your level, so at the end is take too much time for XP. You will die a lot in this monolith.
The first main goal of endgame is to get to empowered monoliths as soon as possible because that is the best place to farm. Best drops, best experience, etc.. By doing this method you get to progress your normal monoliths much faster than what you would by doing the full campaign. It's not about the level of your character, but about your character's overall progression in the game.

Pretty sure you're supposed to get both of them, but I think they just broke something with the quest and haven't fix it yet lol

What about the Lightless Dungeon skip ?
You can do it if you have the keys for it, it will let you skip most of chapter 3 and the start of chapter 4. I don't do it because I like to get several passive points and idol slots from chapter 3 and if you do the lightless arbor skip you miss those or wind up having to backtrack and do them anyway.
If you don't have a key then you'll be around level 15 by the time you get to the lightless arbor which is too early for most builds to start monoliths which is where you'll have to go to find the keys.

Is there a reason why you don't do the other two dungeons that can skip the campaign? Are they just slower or...
You still need to do parts of the first few chapters to get your passives and idols so that's why I don't skip them. I'm sure you could make a level route with the other dungeon skips but i'm not sure what all you'd be missing so that's why I just use temporal sanctum since you can get through the first 4 game chapters very quickly.
It's because he didn't do any actual research for this method, he is just copying what other youtubers do and pretending its his own method. It's actually much faster to do the first two dungeons. The first one is much more difficult to do at level 18 without gear handed down, but if you can you can enter Soulfire Basin immediately, which gives you an immunity aura so if you can just kill the things you'll hit level 45 before you complete it, leveling insanely fast. Much faster than doing monoliths. You'll also skip a huge chunk of story, and the story leftover has all you need to complete your free points and idol slots, making it a much faster skip. Or if you want, you can backtrack slightly and do the temporal sanctum route.
@@theangler1922 Well for one I never claimed anywhere that I was the sole creator of this route. Plenty of people having been clearing the campaign quickly long before me, I just wanted to make a video on what I like to do to make alts quickly. Secondly, you wouldn't want to do soulfire bastion as a way to skip the campaign..
The soulfire bastion entrance is in chapter 4 and the exit is in chapter 7 which means not only would you have to do half of chapter 4 anyway just to get there (and temporal sanctum's entrance is right at the start of chapter 5), you'd also have to do all of chapters 7 and 8 to get to chapter 9 or double back and complete chapter 4 anyway to unlock temporal sanctum... So soulfire bastion doesn't save you any time in regards to skipping the campaign because all we care about is getting to chapter 9 as soon as possible for factions and to kill Majasa for +1 all attributes...
The whole point of doing temporal sanctum is it allows you to skip the largest part of the story while still getting to complete all of your passive and idol slot requirements. Temporal sanctum skips 90% of chapter 5 and all of chapters 6, 7, and 8. None of the other dungeons offer that amount of story skip...
Not to mention that you need keys to run all of these dungeons and you will not have a lightless arbor key or soulfire bastion key by the time you get to those dungeon entrances, and while you could find them while doing mono's, going back to run them for campaign progression is a waste of time when you can just farm a temporal sanctum key and skip the largest amount of the campaign.. It's all about efficiency.
@@themaliciousrabbit You don't have to do any of chapter 4 to get there little mouth breather. After you exit the first dungeon, you can walk right into SOulfire with progressing zero story. Even if you were braindead and wanted to run Sanctum, all you would have to do is finish soulfire, backtrack about 5 minutes and you can enter Sanctum. After unlocking your mastery you can skip about 90% of the story. Of course you would know that if you spent any time doing any research instead of regurgitating a hundred other videos. As someone who just did a solo "new' character run without any gear from other characters (Forgot what that challenge is called) You aren't getting keys for any of them early. I entered monoliths at level 25 and grinded to level 48 before I got the first key drop for any of them. I'm currently 74 and have cleared the age of ice and still don't have a single sanctum key, but 4-5 of the others. This clearly isn't a path for new characters.
@@theangler1922 yeah I mean, I've done the dungeon route and it took me roughly 1.5 hours to level my void knight alt. The reason I asked is because the first dungeon is definitely very challenging for most classes at level 15-25 specifically due to the boss mechanic. If you have no extra passives either, your Character is going to be slightly weaker than the average toon at that level.
I think D4 did skipping worse than LE, but I also think this skip is too long lmao....even if u follow this tutorial to the T, u still have to regrind mono's to Empowered, farm all ur blessings again.....I recommend just farm low lvl unique items and turning them in to very good lvling Legendarys, focus on movespeed and dodge/life whatever :D
LE should make it so keys only drop from Mono's when you are above level 60 or so....or once you have acquired all Passive and Idol slots AND the +1 all stats from last boss, future chars can do each dungeon for a 3rd of idol slots and passive points from quest rewards and then kill last boss and campaign done. I also think once 1 char has reached Empowered Mono's future chars should be able to go straight to Empowered.
Well yes you'd still have to progress through endgame like normal. I do think that unlocking empowered on all character would be a cool idea but normal mono's are meant to be where you level and gear your characters to prep for empowered so I could see why they wouldn't change it.
It`s all awesome, but u have to say that only OP classes like spellblade can do monolith on lvl 30.
That's not true. I do the same strat on all of my classes. Thorn totem shaman, acid flask falconer, javelin paladin, Hydrahedron runemaster. Theyve all went into monoliths around level 30 with no issues.

Yep! As soon as you get into the End of Time at the end of Chapter 2. After that you can go into monoliths.

Last epoch is good until you get to monoliths and the game just doesn't work very well. Every crazy battle fps dips to 40. I upgraded to a 4070s and it's a little better but still caca. D11+unity = game will always run like crap. Idk how people can game when it dips under 60 fps. I get motion sick so cant do it. Grim dawn has this issue but it never goes below 60 and that was with my 3060 ti. Hopefully they fix it but it will get worse with updates. It is unity after all. Ty for the guide.
My portals don't do that transition screen....
I think they removed it, mine used to do that and now the last few characters haven't been having those transitions.
im noob on this game but i dont understand why u say endgame if u still have yellow quest on ur hud?????
So this game works a little weird where you can skip around the story, but not complete previous parts of it.. Even after you complete chapter 9 and have all of your sidequests done, you'll still see the quest log telling you to go back to chapter 5 to continue where you left off.
When I say endgame I mean the monolith system since that is where you spend all of your time after the campaign and this method lets you get there ASAP while not missing any valuable parts of the campaign but skipping most of it to save time.
And there is me that take 50h to do the main quests 🤣🤷🏻♂️

You can do this on hardcore as well, but you need to play slower and kill more so you don't get too underleveled. Can still do the same steps though.
how hardcore viable is this?
You can do it on hardcore but you might want to wait a little longer to go into monoliths. Or just kill a lot more while you're running through the campaign so you can enter monoliths in your 30's or even level 40. It'll just take a bit longer.
so what about idols and passives from quests?
You end this with 13/15 passives and 5/8 idols. You get the last few passives and idols from a couple quests in act 9

Well technically endgame is the monolith system, but yes. Real endgame doesn't start until at least empowered monos.
So this game can take 2h to get to endgame and they still let you skip campaign on alts lol
Well technically you can get to the endgame in like 30 minutes but yeah. You want to clear chapter 9 for your +1 to all stats so it helps to not have to fully clear the entire campaign to get there.
