If you massively hit up on the ball does it inceease spin #'s or just launch angle? I just ordered a brand new 5.5* ltdx.
Although there's other factors that can affect it, hitting up on the ball tends to decrease spin if anything. You can find hitting too far on the up, much like having the ball too far forward in your stance, can leave you prone to leaving the face open for a fade/slice, but obviously there's plenty of factors which affect this too
What would happpen if you put heavier weights in. For example 14g in the heal and 8g innthe toe and then turned up a 9 degree to a 10 degree draw setting
It would be a fun test you'd probably get some movement!
@GolfShopOnline I'd expect a higher draw maybe and more ball speed of the club face maybe?
Good video ! Did youhit this with the Tensei AV White shaft ? Im trying to decide what shaft to get with my 105mph swing speed - Smoke Blue 60 Stiff or Tensei white av 65 stiff
This was a little while ago but I think it was Tensei AV White yes! They're 2 very similar shaft profiles that both brands have built to fit the same sort of sweet spot. At the end of the day, testing them both together is the best option, but the AV White is about 5g heavier if you have a feel preference, but launch and spin will be very tight. Smoke Blue being slightly lighter may just help a tiny bit with clubhead speed, but if you prefer that bit more weight for feel, then AV White could be a good option.
@@GolfShopOnline thankyou
What would happen if I put a 14 g weight in the heel and a 8 gram in the toe
I believe it'd make it more draw bias. Mine came with 10g H 3g T
Did you use the 45.5 inch shaft or the 44.5 inch
44.5 I believe but not 100% sure anymore
What shaft was is when testign and flex.
This was a little while ago now but Tensei White Stiff I believe!
What handicap range do one should use this?
Typically tends to be lower handicap golfers because there's slightly less forgiveness than you may get in the other models but it's more suited to higher swing speed golfers that are looking for a lower spinning option off the tee
