Looks delicious Chetna! 😋😋
thanks
That is so delicious, ty for sharing. I personally would add toasted coriander seeds and crush it along with the peanuts...
♥️♥️

This is my kind of dish. I can see having this on hand to put together for lunches during the week. I have to go to our nearest big town (45 km away) to get all the ingredients. Living on rural Vancouver Island is beautiful but it has its downsides (very little diversity of ingredients for cooking). It’ll be worth the trip!
I love chaat! I converted my children by making "chaat wraps" where everyone assembles their own fillings in a chapatti and then eats.
Looks delicious! Wouldn't it be easier to peel the potatoes before boiling? I don't think it would cause them to fall apart.
Its a personal preference
Chetna please don't listen to that women who criticized you for saying AMAZING! I miss you not saying this, please keep saying AMAZING!!!!!!
Thanks so much
I love your recipes 😄 As you were cooking this, I was wondering how much I'd make into my own portion size. I was also daydreaming about gur. Some of my family members make a toffee out of it. One of them has ajwain
yum gur with ajwain
@@FoodwithChetna Definitely 😄 You should try it if you haven't already
Love your mum. Can you tell me if you by supermarket coriander can you freeze it and how long can you keep it if you freeze it.
ah I have never tried to freeze it myself
I haven't frozen cilantro chutney but I have buzzed up cilantro with olive oil, then put it in a freezer bag and pressed it flat so there was no air in it. That kept it for the whole winter.
Thankyou both for the advice .
You can also add sweet potatoes to the chaat as well.
yes you can though I am not a big fan of adding those to the chaat as it makes it sweet.
Hello - might be a stupid question, my apologies if so.
Like keeping the skins on the peanuts which is a preference of mine, what about the potatoes?
The goodness & taste is also a favourite of mine & it also keeps the potato together.
Keeping the skins on - will it affect the texture & taste of the recipe.
Thank you so much.
yes you can keep the skins on the potatoes
@@FoodwithChetna thank you Chetna.
Yummy! There did seem to be a “ And the murderer is……” moment there were the sound disappeared just as you were talking about the VERY important sprinkle of spice!!
sorry a sound issue
From where are you aunty..
Out of curiosity why didn't you peel the potatoes skin off before you bioled ?
I love your channel, love and cook your food, but hate these new subtitles. ❤
Thanks for the feedback, just trying something new.
voice cuts out at 9:04, left with santur and tabla only until very near the end
yes had some issue there
What’s the difference between tamarind paste and chutney?
the chutney is made with a few ingredients and tamarind paste is just tamarind
So what can I add to tamarind paste to make chutney
@@cindyhauert2339 ua-cam.com/video/8WkM3dSJG2c/v-deo.html
The chutney recipe.
What’s the best way for me to save a recipe? Make notes during the video? Use the transcript? 🤔🧑🍳🥘
Yes either or visit my website or buy my books
@@FoodwithChetna thanks for replying 😃 I have two of your books so far and really like them! Appreciate your videos!
