This is exactly why you have such a large audience...you know how to keep your viewers wanting more...you are tactful, methodical, and persistent. Great video Beau! I watch your videos more than any other buddy...I F*&kIng love um! Thanks for getting the action going again!
That thing at 19:00 is a tail pipe for a car exhaust. Do you ever worry about the diseases or dangerous chemicals that might be in these urban rivers? Still a nice hunt, eh?
What a beautiful little hidden spot.i honestly love all you tidbits of wisdom on safety and nature. The little rock pile fish nests really got me.You were not nearly as excited about that bottle as I was .lol.I just hope that you keep these gems coming.Thank you sincerely
Trailer Park Boys reference for the win! They're filming season 10 about half an hour away from my house right now :) I always enjoy your videos, keep them coming!
You walked right on by the best spot to dig on this stream. I am looking at 6:20, the box culvert. This edge here is concrete and runs straight down to bedrock, some of these have a small ledge part way down. It is this ledge that acts just like a riffle in a sluice box does. During a heavy flood many tons of streambed are washed over this ledge and anything heavy like gold flakes, lead bullets, nails, iron things ect. drop down and are trapped there, especially directly behind the center support. There could very well be another shell right there waiting for you!
I could watch Your Videos 24 hours a Day 7 Day a week. I never Dive but Your Videos are addictive!!!!! Sell some Sunglasses Laugh out loud!!!!! Thank You Sincerely Thomas Raymond of Fresno California!!!!!!
Too bad someone doesn't clean up that mess. Our town has The River Watchers club. They get together a few times a year and clean up the trash. They've done a good job in past few years.
It's so crazy that you can find a civil war artillery shell in a river full of modern day trash. I guess no one thought to look there but you, Mr. Beau, you know what you're doing. Good job!!
another great video beau thank you so much I really enjoy your videos you really pay attention to detail and talk about everything you find thanks Good luck and happy hunting
Beau, thanks for this one. It's very encouraging to see that even the most scrubby spots may still hold relics. I go by areas that look like this all the time and feel like there's no use. so appreciate the videos and your insight.
***** I know what you mean -- it's the counterintuitive spots that still have stuff in them! Thanks again for the videos, man. You really do a great job of "bringing the viewer along."
***** and by the way -- more power to you!!! You find it first or take the time to sift through all that trash you absolutely deserve every shell that there is in there!! just keep filming and letting us enjoy the discoveries with you!
You were right at the 4 minute mark. that was a handle off a US army trenching shovel. i have one with its pouch with a date of 1966. the shovel blade folds over and locks in place with that screw on sleeve. It has a pick head on it that folds out too.
You are very optimistic about this site. Who would of thought that would be in this stream in this area. Not me. way to go. A huge shell. Enjoyed the video as usual.
hey beau another great hunt thanks for all ways being nice on the videos my daughters watch them and they learn a lot and they share at there schools that way the whole class can watch thank you jcricket
It really breaks my heart to see the trash that ends up in nature. Way different from when I was a kid exploring 34 years ago. Now im a father of three and my kids are into metal detecting with me,they often get upset when they see the trash on bullrun river in Manassas. They are 7-10 and 11 years old They had me spend the better part of a day cleaning up trash along the banks. I told them as a boy I swam there and never seen trash like that. Thanks for sharing and as always I love the vids. HH
I love watching your videos. I find myself obsessed with them. Do you happen to have a video of how you clean up your finds? perhaps a before and after cleaning?
Another good video Beau, keep uploading! Just got a decent camera and have been digging for a few months now. Cant wait to find some civil war treasure here in Tennessee!
You should offer a few small relics to people who organize a stream cleanup in his area. Our community does this each year in our local watershed...amazing how much trash is collected every year.
Watch out for some of the cork top bottle finds. Some of them were made later on as reproduction items for the anniversary of a company or just too sale a few more items.
I walked through nettles once while airsofting, the two people i was with had long pants. They were clueless on why i was in pain, but i knew exactly what was happening, but unfortunately, i was not expecting nettles, so i didn't look. Even after being in the woods my legs felt like they were on fire, so every puddle we came across, i stopped and rubbed my legs with the water. Also, my grandma, who was born in 1918 worked at a glass factory, and she might have made some of those bottles you find.
Super work Beau :-) I must be mistaken about my guess on the type of shell you found, I thought it was a C.S. Burton shell because of the 4 flame grooves in the sabot. I thought Dyer shells used percussion fuses with copper or brass sabots ? Lol. I'm having a one off day! today... Awesome find for sure :))) Happy Hunting :D
Hi beau I was wondering if you suggest I keep hunting I found a silver Rosie at an old house I found back in the woods I have hunted that house site out but there were more house around there were so you suggest o look should I look in the middle of the woods or what thanks, GL and HH from Brandon
if you ever go back to that spot pick up that trenching tool part i will pay for shipping just started working on a plan to make a magnet pick like yours that part might work well with my design for my pick for the st clair river where i dive a lot swift curent and lots of tacinite pellets from ore freighters besides other cool relics ive found square projectial cannons in there i raised them donated them to the town museum

That metal pipe you found it looks kinda like an after market exhaust pipe
