I don't believe Garrett could have found anyone better than you to represent their product. They are lucky, and we are lucky, as we watch, and enjoy another Aquachigger Adventure. Thanks, Beau.
I watched this back in 2015, i just didn't get the gravity of the situation..A US buckle like that before you're ever even wet in a river hunt..sick..but i'm nothing but thankful for all the history you guys saved and being able to witness it. I can't help but think Someday long after we are all gone that buckle might go up for sale, they will look to this video to witness the day it was rescued because i'm sure the story will still be attached.
I'm just excited that you guys are rescuing all of these historical relics. It might sound kinda corny but I know theres a story behind each of those pieces... maybe nothing extraordinary other than they were a piece from that time and place. I just enjoy pondering such things :)
It's incredible that you can just walk into that river and pull out a US belt buckle for your first find!! Sick.....I liked the different perspective as well.
+Beau Ouimette I love watching the river searches, but I'm wondering why your U.S. Badge was shiny and not cruddy like the other? Are they made of the same material or ........
I've been watching Beau detect for a few years now. He's one of the reasons we began detecting. One thing I can say for sure... Definitely not a set up. He's one of the best out there.
+Hooked on History I'm sorry I did not mean to imply anything other than what's the difference, and material was the only idea I had. It's interesting that mud verses sand is different. I thought wet was wet and it would rust. It amazes me that anything in the water that long still even exists.
Great job, Beau! I couldn't believe that huge smile that came over your face after your first target, the U.S. plate .... and, of course, you were just rubbing it in as the others were wishing they had made the find ... too, too, funny, Man!
Outstanding! I bought the at pro because of your videos. I found a silver cache in a creek by my house when I was almost ready to give up on the hobby. Thank you! Keep the videos coming!
Very cool vid! Copper coins from out of the fresh water lake near my home are always in great condition compared to the coins found in the dirt in the parks. Thanks for sharing : )
Enjoyed watching the hunt. I actually prefer your video style though. Maybe it was the clear water and high end camera equipment, but this seemed like a TV show. Keep up the good work Beau!
A big thumbs up! Another excellent video AC. Hey everyone...don't forget to support Aquachigger by LIKING the video and suffering through the ads...that's how YOU can help your favorite channels to make a little extra green!
Just watched the video again. If you knew how many times I sat there thinking "how in the world does he find so much cool stuff" (while wrenching my hands together) it would amaze you. I ran out and bought an AT Gold because of your videos and bought magnets too! my kids and I love this stuff now but WOW you find the best stuff! Yes, I rejoice with you!! I'll hold off commenting when I watch it a third time...
My Garrett AT- Gold and Pin Pointer just arrived today. So far you've sold me on this machine. Next Tuesday, I'll take it out on a test run my friend has over 200 acres of farm land once used by the acadian back in 1605. No one has ever been aloud to detect. I'm the first one with permission I'm excited.
Just found your channel - LOVING IT! As a newbie relic hunter I am loving the little tips & tricks. It's great to see the enthusiasm, even on the silliest of finds. Keep them coming! Would love to make it down South to do some Civil War hunting but am stuck up here with all these Yankees ^.^
What a fun hunt! Boys always have all the fun! (Of course, as a girl, I don't think I would be too comfortable in river water knowing there are snakes, and snapping turtles, and fish, and.....). Love those Garrett machines, and some day, maybe I will be able to afford one, and then, I'll be just like the boys!)
I noticed that one of the Minie balls you found appeared to be a Williams Bullet. It appeared to have a post on the bottom for the zinc disc (flat washer). The purpose of the Williams Bullet was to clean excess fouling from inside the rifle/musket barrel.Pretty neat!
It’s hard to imagine Chigg finds it hard to talk.😁 This is the kind of hunt that will spoil you. You’ll expect to find this much treasure on all your digs in the future.
Sure was another awesome video makes me wish I could come down there and dig unfortunately not allot of history up here in Alberta like you got down there. Looking forward to the next vid happy digging
I'm so jealous!! My son and I dream of finding Civil War relics!! I would have a heart attack if I found a U.S. plate like u did!! Great job and I love the videos!
I am so lucky, two days in a row that I get to see New Vids of relic huntin, Tky Beau. grins. bless you, but it sure makes trying to fry chicken for dinner exceedingly difficult
Excellent vids Aquachigger! Would you consider doing an instructional video on how you outfit yourself for a "wet hunt". Details like securing your detector/pin pointer, proper shoes and gloves, divers gear...basically any words of advice.
Great video Beau! I'll bet you liked having someone else do the filming too! I'll bet whoever found that Oakland tag thought they had a buckle at first! LOL. Aside from the IHC were all the coins modern? Thanks for sharing and HH, Dave.
Great video! I really liked ya'll having a camera person. Know it was a special trip, but still a nice perspective. All of you guys are very handsome 😉
I don't know what you did different but THIS video was the BEST I've ever watched. Super clear and excellent underwater viewing. The US plate (buckle) was fantastic and so was everything else. Great day. Did you invite the two guys to YOUR place or were you invited to their spot?
And sometimes 60 rounds depending what the Regiment was issued with. During a battle you would get so focused on loading and firing your rifle that you would sometimes drop a cartridge or two.

It's incredible that you can just walk into that river and pull out a US belt buckle for your first find!! Sick.....I liked the different perspective as well.
I know. Still incredible!

You did not loose the boat! Everybody knows those by the boat, watch the boat!
Outstanding! I bought the at pro because of your videos. I found a silver cache in a creek by my house when I was almost ready to give up on the hobby. Thank you! Keep the videos coming!

Pretty cool to see the ole chigg on the from of the Garrett web page.
I am so lucky, two days in a row that I get to see New Vids of relic huntin, Tky Beau. grins. bless you, but it sure makes trying to fry chicken for dinner exceedingly difficult
fantastic in every way.
The lock that said SR with the arrow through it is a Southern Railroad switch lock, identical to the B&O one you found a while back.
love these adventures!
Excellent vids Aquachigger! Would you consider doing an instructional video on how you outfit yourself for a "wet hunt". Details like securing your detector/pin pointer, proper shoes and gloves, divers gear...basically any words of advice.
Superb! Thanks!
Awesome US plates Beau(and company), you obviously weren't near any swim holes Beau......No sunglasses
Wow.. a lot of nice finds... GL & HH

Are all them bits gold on the riverbed?
I must have rewond the " perfect ubles bletbluke" like 10 time and it makes me laugh just as hard every single time 😆 🤣 😂
You should do a vid on all the relics you've found over the years or something just an idea :)
Great stuff wish I could hunt that
Great video Beau! I'll bet you liked having someone else do the filming too! I'll bet whoever found that Oakland tag thought they had a buckle at first! LOL. Aside from the IHC were all the coins modern? Thanks for sharing and HH, Dave.

you guys killed iiiiiitttt !! GOOD JOB
That belt buckle looked like it was in good enough shape to wear i would definitely wear it if I found it I think it would be awesome
Great at the moment watching your vid A lightning Storm And A sword belt plate
22.52 thinking of security seals?, they had rough or wound wire loop pinched into the lead.
beau do you ever search any shallow lakes for goodies or just rivers?
CONGRATS ON AMAZING FIND!!!!!!!!!
Great video! I really liked ya'll having a camera person. Know it was a special trip, but still a nice perspective. All of you guys are very handsome 😉
Awesome first find
But that first belt plate... WOW!!
I love the music on this video!!!!
I wish you would describe the sites a little and any historical insights of the places.
Aquachigger this is why I like anonymous donations to museums with vague location data available to the public.
whats that pick you are using with the magnet on the end? 50lb force?
I don't know what you did different but THIS video was the BEST I've ever watched. Super clear and excellent underwater viewing.
The US plate (buckle) was fantastic and so was everything else. Great day. Did you invite the two guys to YOUR place or were you invited to their spot?
***** Like, A STAR IS BORN!
I always thought every one in that era used round musket balls. How many bullets would a soldier carry? they seem to "drop" a lot.
And sometimes 60 rounds depending what the Regiment was issued with.
During a battle you would get so focused on loading and firing your rifle that you would sometimes drop a cartridge or two.
Hi just love your vids Aquachigger , like the US plates you found ever find a CS plate ?
There's not much the Chigg hasn't found. lol
At the spot where you found the buckle it looked like alot of potery shards. Do you find many shards?
Aquachigger love your videos wish I could join one day you but I'm in the uk :(
Nice production value!!!!
That's what happened to my buckel I lost that thing in the river that day we did that reenactment battle down there lost my Brest plate too!
I bet it was nice having someone else hold the camera for a change! Nice US plate!
lol you guys found the Headless Horseman! X3
looking to buy my first detector. AT Pro or Gold? I might be using it on the beach, but mostly dry land and some streams. Comments welcome.
So funny I can tell which one is Beau underwater just by how he fans the silt.
