The reason we are getting fat is one guy actually goes outside and has an adventure and the rest of us sit on the couch and watch, loving your videos in Scotland.
Beau, I love your videos. It reminds me of when I was younger. I now have some physical issues that seemingly control my days and activities. So, on those days, I live a day watching you and others. I have you take me to the river instead. Well, at least I join you on the adventure on video. Beau. you are the original, the best! Thanks!
Cardui was a 38-proof patent medicine made from the late 19th century through the twentieth by the Chattanooga Medicine Company, of Chattanooga, Tennessee (U.S.A.). The box containing the bottle appears below. The museum also has the full bottle.
My husband I are very jealous of the awesome things you come across while adventuring! We too love the adventure just as much as treasures. Keep em coming!
My grandparents have over a hundred mason jars in our old barn. And they used to keep food in there when they were poor. They used to be poor and my grandpa had to hunt for food even when season wasn't around. Back before I was born.
Cool old canning jar, my grandparant taught me to can for just a way to save more from the garden and to have good food without other junk in it. Living in MN it is really nice to be able to eat greens or jellies from things grown in the Summer when it's -20 outside during Winter.
We have the money but the taste is so much better when home canned, my wife still has a good time canning and she's proud of the items that turn out so wonderful. We also make concord grape jelly, our whole neighborhood loves Christmas time, we give homemade bread and jelly away.
For God sake snakes coming out of trees and biting you in the neck. Made me laugh. Such a positive thought. This is why I watch. You are interested in everything and still make me chuckle. Do you see the smile do ya?
Hi aquachigger I'm from England and I think your videos are fantastic keep it up man love em I'm in a wheelchair but I'm with you all the way and it's great I want to thank you for that it keeps me going thanks and you and your family keep safe take care 👏👏👏👏👏
chigger, that's funny stuff right there. I am a retired paramedic, and now almost done with my dietitian degree. What you said is so true to a certain point. Obviously there's more to it, but basically, your right on point. lol
I wondered if those were cyprus trees. When I was a kid one of my girlfriends moms would take cyprus stumps, cut them down and make beautiful flower arrangements. Its a beautiful wood when prepared.
FYI for all the folks: "In 1879 Chattanooga businessman Zeboim Cartter Patten and a group of friends established the Chattanooga Medicine Company. Its first two products, Black-Draught and Wine of Cardui." "Wine of Cardui was a uterine sedative, whose name derived from Carduus benedictus, a synonym for botanical Cnicus benedictus. According to tradition, Wine of Cardui originated among the Cherokee Indians."During World War II the company became the largest producer of K-rations and a major supplier of ammonia.
I live 20 mile's south of the company that made the medicine that was in the Chattanooga bottle. You make it back this way look me up. Take care. Eddy.
I saw a guy on another channel take some of that slime and smelt a tiny bead of iron from it using primitive techniques. It was quite fascinating to watch him dig out a bunch clay and turn it into a foundry and pots then put a bunch of the slime into a pot and finally end up with a tiny bead of iron.
Another good video is people in india sweeping roads and paths of dust and then refining it to make gold ingots. Very interesting but I cant remember what it is called now.
Hey chug, i was wondering, would you think a swifter duster would work to clean the leaves from underneath the kayak, maybe it would stop you from having to get out and clean it!
that electric part looks like a clamp that the phone co. here California used to use to hold there phone lines taunt when connected to your house for a strain relief.
l have enjoyed watching your show, and l have a question, what kind of boat is this that you are using, l know it has a jet pump but the boat itself looks different, l was just wondering, great job on the flims, keep them coming, Selah, Washington
Hey AquaChigger. Just wanted to say I greatly enjoy your videos. You've made me interested in metal detecting here in Omaha, NE but I don't know what I would find here. No civil war here. Maybe old coins or relics from the skirmishes with Native Americans but I don't even know where to start. Anyhow, keep doing what you are doing! I watch every video!
How I envy you being able to to do this sort of thing in relative safety and security. In South Africa you would be mobbed and robbed in super quick time. I know, nearly happened once on the Tugela Heights battlefields in Natal detecting around an old campsite. A few young kids appeared out of the bush, followed by some older ones DEMANDING money! Threw a bunch of coins into the the bush to distract them, and wheelspinned out of there!
I looked up the Chattanooga Medicine Company and found it to be a fascinating read. What a cool find! Maybe the word you couldn't quite read said Cardui. One of the first products was called Wine of Cardui which originally came from the Cherokee Indians (or so they say). : )
Hi aquachiggers you peaked my curiousity, when you were talking about the manholes. When you worked at Fredrick precast and you were Vice President what relation is Greg to you? I may not b great with a metal detector but I'm not bad with a computer lol
My six year old started watching your videos with me. He said, Let's watch aquachigger. I said, That's Mr. Chigger to you! Thanks for the fun videos. Guess I'm buying a metal detector for Christmas. How about a what-to-look-for video on a decent but economical starter detector?
So did you sell your factory and retire early and just go detecting. Kudos to you on that. BTW the frog was neat. Where you in the southern states since there were so many Cyprus around.
hey sugar love your UA-cam videos don't worry I won't complain about them being too long kind of curious about that boat that you're using with the water jet could you in one of your videos show us it a little bit more and why you chose it
Who in their right mind would complain about a long Chigg video. The longer the better. Thanks for doing what you do and letting us come along.
Hi Chigger! Our group loves watching your videos. We are from the Pacific Northwest and love relic hunting. Thank you for the awesome channel!
The reason we are getting fat is one guy actually goes outside and has an adventure and the rest of us sit on the couch and watch, loving your videos in Scotland.

My grandparents have over a hundred mason jars in our old barn. And they used to keep food in there when they were poor. They used to be poor and my grandpa had to hunt for food even when season wasn't around. Back before I was born.

Chattanooga is my favorite town in TN. It has a few areas not worth visiting but most of it is beautiful
you find some neat locations, thanks for showing us!
I like your boat. I've never seen one like that. I'd like to know more about it. Thanks for your videos.
Never mind, I just scrolled down and saw the link to the manufacturer. Thanks anyway.
Style is everything when it comes to garden hose attachments.
Thank you, I really enjoyed both parts x
most moccasin snakes are out and about at sunrise and dusk, not heat of day unless sleeping on log, but they rarely do that.
chigger, that's funny stuff right there. I am a retired paramedic, and now almost done with my dietitian degree. What you said is so true to a certain point. Obviously there's more to it, but basically, your right on point. lol

Nice jar! I pressure can my own food! We raise our own meat and veggies and can it up for the year. It's a dying art, but it's a good skill to learn 😊
I live 20 mile's south of the company that made the medicine that was in the Chattanooga bottle. You make it back this way look me up. Take care. Eddy.

I binged a lot of your videos. my guess is your favorite things to find are civil war relics and old bottles

The paver at 7:12 did have writing on it, on the side with the encrustation. See the diamond pattern? That would've ended up in my driveway. :)

Why does that drainage from the ponds so thick and orangey?
Hey chug, i was wondering, would you think a swifter duster would work to clean the leaves from underneath the kayak, maybe it would stop you from having to get out and clean it!
At 3:54 it looks like a square blue bottle up under the roots to the right of the brown goo flowing down towards you.
I love you adventures 👍💖
that electric part looks like a clamp that the phone co. here California used to use to hold there phone lines taunt when connected to your house for a strain relief.

It was 20% alcohol & marketed for women's problems
