Cities Skylines gameplay today playing with the new Financial Districts mini DLC! This new update adds in a new financial district specialization which opens up the stock market, allows you to build banks, and manipulate the stock market! Unfortunately, my economic 'creativity' ruins the economy and might have destroyed my city...

@@ImKibitz if you build up one of the industries, lower the industry budget and then buy the stocks and then raise the budget you can make easy cash without harming your population, I did it with oil industry and made millions!

Hey Kibitz. You should move your International Trade building. The stock exchange already gives you a tax bonus. And plopping the International building in the same radius as the exchange doesn't stack their bonus's. If you move it so the two radius's don't overlap you can get way more in taxes!

Most stocks are exits for the companies to sell their shares.
It's selectively realistic. If you look at population and parking, it's wildly unrealistic: Single-family homes will typically house 8-12 people (more than they should, on average) while skyscraper apartment buildings and condos only house around 20 (FAR fewer than they should). That's why the population milestones are all so low. As for parking, cars frequently disappear whenever a citizen gets to their destination. Parking is not even a thing in CS, whereas it's a major issue in any real modern city.

This episode actually hurts quite different since we all know that this is exactly what happens in the real world and the rich do not even care about the lives that they gamble with...
If you know they are doing this, you can simply imitate what they buy and sell and become rich too. A lot of people would do just that. The real world is much more complex, this is not a good analogy.

The International Trade Building has the same effect as the Stock Exchange.
If you build them so close together they will noch stack.
You need to move the International Trade Building to another District

LOL, calling the St. Louis arch a "gate". I mean it is supposed to represent the "gate to the west" as beyond that point is what we got from the Louisiana purchase.

Hey kibitz I’m get 3 DLC of city skyline which are airports,campus and plaza and promenade
Works better with resources in my opinion make an oil district that makes you 50k a week get rid of the main oil building and the shares tank to like 30$ buy 1000 replace main oil building price goes back to like 2000 a share bam you just made 2 million
I find it hard to believe that adjusting the budget caused so much death at once, Its almost like there is an another issue like contaminated water or you placed the entire residential area at once and have a death spike, I have learned the hard way that if everyone moves in at once they die at once.

The best money making method is to use TMPE to clear traffic. Invest in Traffic Jelly (the traffic makes stock lower), Clear the traffic, Invest in Greasy Gas (it will dip since no cars), Sell Traffic Jelly since there is no cars or traffic the stock will peak, when all the cars come back sell Greasy Gas

I wonder what the best opportunities to invest now are, there are opinions but a little later I find out these opinions don't matter as a totally different turn of events play out with the stocks they discussed therein...
I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. Buy Companies stock which you think has huge potential to grow. For me, I hired a stock expert that provides entry and exit points on the security I focus on while I go about my other businesses. Investing has no one way to do it, eyes on the prize!!! Mistakes are expensive
