- Discover How To Use The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA (Hyaluronic Acid) for hyperpigmentation, dark spots and melasma.
In this video we share how to properly use alpha arbutin and how to layer with other ingredients from The Ordinary Skincare line.
The reason Alpha Arbutin is so great for hyperpigmentation is because it inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme so this prevents excess melanin being released, which reduces hyperpigmentation and dark spots from occurring within the skin.
Alpha Arbutin can also help lighten existing hyperpigmentation, fade dark spots and help melasma.
If you want to use The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin + HA then make sure to follow the steps mentioned in this video.

Please can I use the Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA and Acrobic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% together in my morning routine
Both ordinary product
Plz can you tell me I can use this product in morning and night time use any nicenemid serum any problem
@@Storyofdreams-zs8bxi use the Alpha arbutin twice daily and the niacinamide twice daily
How effective is it?
This also contains lactic acid :( which causes burns to skin leading to more hyperpigmentation if apply more.
It has a small % of lactic acid. Lactic acid is a gentle alpha hydroxy acid that is very good for reducing hyperpigmentation! It should not burn the skin. However as always you need to wear sunscreen daily :) if you are worried you can opt to use it only a few times a week
How long till it starts working
Witch step do I use if I am also using benzoyl peroxide spot treatment
What is it color?
Does ordinary alpha arbutin serum contain glycolic acid?
Can i apply noisturiser immediately after applying Alburtin serum?
Can I use it before my retinol serum?
Can this be used under the eyes?
I started using Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Alpha Arbutin 2 + HA on alternative days at night time after washing my face, in first 2 days i felt shine on my face but now my skin is getting dry n started peeling. I use simple replenishing rich moisturiser right after applying this serum. My skin type is oily and acne prone!
Is it normal?
What do you suggest? Should i stop using it? I think I'm applying 3-4 drops!
Please reply me
Replied on your other comment x
I'm facing the same problem 😢
Same issue with me
I have turned 18 yrs old in june this yr, can i use this?
I use this and azelatic acid at night
Which passage do you do first?
Hi, May I please know if this needs to be applied on damp skin or dry skin?
The formula also contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that can bind/attract water. Make sure that your face is slightly damp and apply this on top. Lock the serum in with a moisturizer to avoid trans epidermal water loss.
Should this be used on damp skin since it has hyaluronic acid?
That's what I was thinkinggg
Can I use it for my underarms?
Hii, I've stared using ordinary AA+ HA for 4 days now, the first 2 days were fine, but now I feel like my skin is started to be dry a little bit. Help me with a solution 😢😢
What else do you use in your routine? And how much product are you applying
@@SkinZoneTV Only a cleanser and Acwell ph balancing toner than The AA serum followed by a moisturizer. And ive only used 1 drop of serum per day.
Is sunscreen is option or must
A must
Does this work for back of neck dark spots ?
اذا كان لديك غمقان في منطقة الرقبة قومي بإجراء تحليل مقاومة الانسولين
Can it get rid of genetic hyperpigmentation around mouth skin?
I want to know that too
Me too...I also wants to know..
I use ascorbic acid 8%alpha arbutin 2% and I really satisfied it's work very nice
I used this for 2 years,no results
Are you allowed to wear makeup after using this product and applying sunscreen
Yes
Do I use sunscreen at night?
no just in the day time
Hello.I have been using TO alpha arbutin for 1month but not getting any result.after purchased i noticed its colour little bit orangish.
Hey Mousumi, if it's colour is a bit yellow-orange it could be an older formulation. Where did you buy it from?
Also hyperpigmentation takes time to lighten and it will depend on how often you are using alpha arbutin? is it daily?
We have a video here all about WHY your hyperpigmentation is not fading to gain some more clarity because it could be your routine not the product itself :) - ua-cam.com/video/P_fQ7Vb6Sxs/v-deo.html
@@SkinZoneTV from an online page.when i asked they said this is a natural occurrence where certain ingredient of this products can change colour when exposed sunlight or increased temperature.
Its recommended to use for atleast 6 cell cycles which is 6 months approx. The cells at the bottom are hyperpigmented and it takes time for then to shed and come to the surface once they are at the surface the newer cells underneath will be a more even colour
Omg. I’m using it twice a day😢. Is it safe?
It won’t hurt at all! :) but you could probably try a retinol and niacinamide in the evening instead
Can I use this as a spot treatment ?I’m scared to use it all over my face and can I use this with hyaluronic acid and nicamid also ?
hey there, yes sure do a patch test first? and see how your skin reacts it should be fine to use all over your face neck and chest area but if you want to use it as a spot treatment go for it.
and yes you can use niacinamide and hyaluronic acid with it
@@SkinZoneTV okay , what abt can I use glow recipe set will it hep with my dark spots and hyperpigmentation it said it wills
Hi dear , can u please tell as how to use the ordinary 8 % ascorbic acid with 2% alpha arbutin .
Yes sure! In the morning :)
Underneath your moisturiser.
@@SkinZoneTV Can I use it in the evening instead of morning?
@@aminazaara1729 You can use it in the morning as well as the evening.
does the alpha arbutin lighten the skin ? bc its an effect & don't want in my medium brown dark skin
it doesn’t lighten the whole face but lightens areas that have extra melanin released. so if u have dark spots on ur face or a dark patch around ur mouth then that’s cus there’s extra melanin produced in these areas.
Is is can't use for more than 3 months? Must stop after 3 mths use?
You can use ongoing… the product will have a shelf life but you can replenish and continue use
Hi since I am using the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% now so what are the products for vitamin c can I added. Thank you
Hi can you plz tell if the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% did work for high pigmentation
@@soyaa8247 I just started to use only, no results yet 😄

@@queenielaw88 how did it go 😮
Did ordinary remove your dark spots? Also what vitamin c did you use?
Can I use it with retinol?
I would use alpha arbutin the evening, and retinol in the evening
@@SkinZoneTV You mean alpha arbutin in the morning and retinol at night?
@@mysticlight_d36 yes sorry 😂 alpha arbutin in the morning xx
can be apply on sensitive skin ? ans plz
Yes but patch test 1st to check that you don’t have a reaction and you can start with gradual use so don’t use it every day to begin with
Can we use moisturiser and sunscreen from other brand

Ascorbic acid alpha arbutin pls❤❤
