  • Discover How To Use The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA (Hyaluronic Acid) for hyperpigmentation, dark spots and melasma.
    In this video we share how to properly use alpha arbutin and how to layer with other ingredients from The Ordinary Skincare line.
    The reason Alpha Arbutin is so great for hyperpigmentation is because it inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme so this prevents excess melanin being released, which reduces hyperpigmentation and dark spots from occurring within the skin.
    Alpha Arbutin can also help lighten existing hyperpigmentation, fade dark spots and help melasma.
    If you want to use The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin + HA then make sure to follow the steps mentioned in this video.

      @SkinZoneTV  Рік тому +43

      It has a small % of lactic acid. Lactic acid is a gentle alpha hydroxy acid that is very good for reducing hyperpigmentation! It should not burn the skin. However as always you need to wear sunscreen daily :) if you are worried you can opt to use it only a few times a week

    I started using Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Alpha Arbutin 2 + HA on alternative days at night time after washing my face, in first 2 days i felt shine on my face but now my skin is getting dry n started peeling. I use simple replenishing rich moisturiser right after applying this serum. My skin type is oily and acne prone!
    Is it normal?
    What do you suggest? Should i stop using it? I think I'm applying 3-4 drops!

      The formula also contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that can bind/attract water. Make sure that your face is slightly damp and apply this on top. Lock the serum in with a moisturizer to avoid trans epidermal water loss.

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  Рік тому +16

      Hey Mousumi, if it's colour is a bit yellow-orange it could be an older formulation. Where did you buy it from?
      Also hyperpigmentation takes time to lighten and it will depend on how often you are using alpha arbutin? is it daily?
      We have a video here all about WHY your hyperpigmentation is not fading to gain some more clarity because it could be your routine not the product itself :) - ua-cam.com/video/P_fQ7Vb6Sxs/v-deo.html

      Its recommended to use for atleast 6 cell cycles which is 6 months approx. The cells at the bottom are hyperpigmented and it takes time for then to shed and come to the surface once they are at the surface the newer cells underneath will be a more even colour

    • @niyuhhh07
      @niyuhhh07 5 місяців тому +1

      it doesn’t lighten the whole face but lightens areas that have extra melanin released. so if u have dark spots on ur face or a dark patch around ur mouth then that’s cus there’s extra melanin produced in these areas.
