No mention about the incompetence in drafting a faulty bill by the legislature which will cost homeowners hundreds of millions in savings. Disappointing you would totally leave that part out. Terrible journalism. .

Why should policeman get a specialtax redemption? They can get one if they get rid of qualified immunity.
I agree. They already get taxpayer funded pensions.
Guvnur Kemp, yea the language is confusing. I voted TO increase the exemption from 2000 to 10000 and are still unsure If this will reduce what people have to pay in property taxes. Can anyone tell me if I voted correctly if my intention was to reduce the amount of property taxes people pay? I guess I just don't really know what an exemption is.
