Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams painted different visions for the future of Georgia, clashing on the economy, crime, voting and education as they debated Monday night after more than 100,000 Georgians swarmed to the polls of the first day of early voting.
Kemp issued perhaps his clearest commitment yet that he won’t pursue any new restrictions on abortion or birth control, clarifying his position on an issue he’s sometimes avoided as he seeks a second term.

In Georgia, there is no required background check if you buy a gun at a gun show, a fair, or from a private company. You could just walk into a gun show, buy as many weapons - hand guns, rifles, shotguns, etc. - as you want, and as long as you're legally an adult, no one will do a background check. There need to be better laws and systems in place that require background checks for all gun sales.

But I did have Economics 101 in school in 1970, and I was on a class field trip to the New York Stock Exchange in 1968. I grew up in NYC during the Mad Men era when we still had a real education and had vocational and trade schools for heavy and light industries. The Coney Island subway yards is a good example of heavy industry for the repairs and replacing parts of subway trains.

I didn't hear him say, and continue to teach their kids how to use a ak or any gun as a curriculum. What about that, behind the scenes? No kid before the age of 15 should be given a REAL gun to shoot UNDER ANY CONDITION. Tell them, teach them, and you show respect for the weapon in front of the kid. You got kids that are graduating high school and they don't even know how to add count money write a check they know nothing if it's not connected to their phone they don't have to think the teachers are not teaching they assign the work and the kids take it home and the parents are doing the homework with the kids can anybody tell me why the schools stopped teaching cursive handwriting and go to calculus when you don't even know all your multiplications. You need to put the education back in schools the teachers are the boss detention or expelled for bad behavior just the simple things that may turn around some schools that way they don't have to shoot each other.
That all sounds good on paper, but it don't work in the real world - the new real world. Did you go to church(or mass,or synagogue)? Probably. These kids have never darted a church door, much less read a bible. They don't even believe in God. That's why they're in despair, they don't have any hope. I'll have to leave it there,gotta go!

Both Abrams and Hazel decided to beat up on the VA. I'm a veteran with severe diabetes but I have got exceptional care from the VA. My glucose levels are even LOWER than non diabetics. I've had two successful surgeries for other ailments. I get preventative care as well. Both candidates have false information.

The VA is notorious for not providing quality care to many, many veterans. It's great that you have had good experiences with the VA and I am thankful for your service to our country.
