Elesh norn would be a perfect commander. Emeria Angel, Solemn Simulacrum, Soul Sisters, Daxos, Giest Honored Monk, Karmic Guide, Stonehorn Dignitary, Angel of Intervention, Sun Titan, Cavalier of Daen, Bontu's Monument, Oketra's Monument, Felidar Retreat, any of the creatures that draw a card on ETB, Dawn of Hope.
@@attackoncardboard That's kind of true. I play Ayara where most of the decks is ETB sac a creature or destroy target creature. When they see Panharmonicon come out that this the first thing that gets targeted.
Green and Blue both offer much better permenant (not just creatures) protection than White and you'll want to be protecting both Elesh and your Panharmonicon
You get two Mirror triggers, the first one to resolve will exile your creature. The second one will bring it back. Meaning you don't have to cast a second creature to get it back.
@@Saurophaganax1931 With opponents' creatures, the mirror will do the same thing, but having creatures leave and enter the battlefield doesn't cause anything to happen because of Elesh's second ability. So only you will get the upside.
@@attackoncardboard you could totally make a video just on mirror of life trapping, its a really fun interaction that most people are sleeping on, if your deck has a lot of etbs it still gets a ton of value without norn out
Yea that's a good thought about the prices going up on those artifacts for Elish Norn. I think MTGBRO hyped up artifacts and I can Lithoform engine being out of budget range
Yeah, with poison counters coming back to, anything with Proliferate might go up too. Contagion Engine is one that comes to mind, but that's already $8.
Web seems a bit slow, it needs an 8 mana investment for just a single poison counter. And milling may help the opponent. I was going to wait for official spoilers before I talk about the new mechanic but I might do a poll and see what the audience thinks.
@@attackoncardboard It is slow...but it drops that one poison counter without attacking and at instant speed and you can proliferate after....I will participate in the poll for sure...
Quick and concise, great video mate!
Teleportation circle is perfect for elesh norn
Completely forgot about that card. Yes! Super under rated!

I'm very happy to be wrong, but I'll guess we'll see. As it stands Panharmonicon decks are usually best in 2 or more colours.

@@attackoncardboard That's fair.
Mirror of life trapping perfect for Elesh Norn also
I've always wanted to find a good use for that card! Great idea.
How exactly would Mirror of life trapping work if its ETB effect triggered twice?

Elesh is going straight to my brago deck, and preston is already in it!
I need to pick up a Preston. He looks so good.

I doubt Norn is gonna be budget
Correct. The video was aimed at the budget cards you can get to build around Elesh.
It may end up being budget... just on account of they're printing 5+ variants of it.
I just want the Juni one 😭
Depends how much play she sees in standard. Not sure how many good etb effects there are to play her with
