I ran to the kitchen and tried it! IT WORKED! you a life saver, man. From now on I'll drink a different breed of coffee. I thought my machine just couldn't do it.
The position depends on how many holes the steam tip has. Your recommendation works fine with one or two holes but doesn’t work for three or four holes. At least it is always a process of trial and error until you find the perfect position to create a vortex.
@@Derothebarista There is a useful video about steam wand positioning with different steam tips from "Home Cafe by Charlie". Would love to hear if the technique he recommends for four holes works for you as well. 😊
@@3ede467the half tilted angle technique is just a no brainer and it works for all kind of steam tip, but the straight down in the middle technique works incredible with a 4 holes steam tip in my experience, it steam faster and the milk get silky much faster also
Sir i have a question: Is it true that the way to find out how hot milk is is by positioning our little finger under an iron cup? and how hot does the milk have to be to steam so it can be used to make a simple latte art? Thank you, sorry for my bad english
Hello it’s unfortunate that it didn’t work for you try adding air in the milk buy lowing down the pitch for 2-5 seconds then lift it up to continue with the steaming
@@Derothebarista yes i do that! Do you think it could be that i dont put in too much milk? I always stop at the sign that says min. I also felt like from all the videos ive seen i have put my wand further in to reach the milk. Maybe its too far in? Yesterday i put more milk and it turned out okay, but i dont want to have excess steamed milk
Qn. Pitcha ojiwunzika ngekutunuddemu then yu tilt awo nolyooka osiyimiinga?? Bambi help am tired of making coffee with in 5 seconds nga yazzeeko dda bubbles!!!😢😢
Sure the tip I would recommend don't deep the tip of the steam to much in the milk when starting it will help in adding air in the milk and also to push the milk to mix up

Great to hear this nice comment
The best video on steaming milk, no need for complicated explanations, you keep up with these simple rules and try until you succeed. 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it! My friend

Am not really sure about the number of holes my steam wand has 4holes and I use the same position every time

That is true it depends on how many holes the steam is👍🏼 but this is correct also👍🏼🤎

You were great, how do I know if the milk has foamed enough?
It’s is out of experience and you can see it too
make a video for how many types of expresso machine, how to calibration these all coffee machine,
Sure I will try too
What's the trick to get that crema? mine always looks like someone blew bubbles into it and when I pour the milk it just becomes a white mess.
The reason you are adding in much air in the process of steaming you need to add air for 3-5sec then texture it until the perfect temperature
@@Derothebarista Thanks! I will give it a try
one thing to take into consideration is that the more oil espresso has, the more crema forms. you may need more oily beans
Thanks ❤
You're welcome
For sure am still struggling with those big bubbles am learning
Hello thank you for the comment and sorry for the bubble but try reducing the amount of air you let in the milk this maybe the main reason why
Thanks for information
Welcome

Sure I will soon 👍🏾
Thanks man
You're welcome!
what coffee texture do i need? I feel like i’ve used all milk textures (even silky smooth) and once it goes into my coffee it just blends in.
Then may be you need to work on your pouring technique for latte art you can check out my latte art tutorial
Like it it was cool
Wonderful! Am glad to hear that

Yes true but it doesn’t matter the finger you use most baristas just hold with all fingers
Wow great 🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
@@Derothebarista 🥰
How long should we steam the milk?
You see no answer, and I believe this is the key and not the wand position
I rili lyk ur latte art bro
Thank you so much but you can improve
How many seconds for silky texture steaming ?😊
It depends on the espresso machine you can check in my milk steaming playlists video I have it there
Great 👍🏻
Thank you 😊

Welcome bro ✌🏿️
Asking. Counter clock vs clock wise, makes any difference?
Doesn’t matter as long as the milk is spinning round
@@Derothebarista ❤️
I do that but most of it isn’t silky and by the time I’m down pouring it’s not silky enough for art
Try to reduce on the amount of air you let in
Good job
Thank you 😊my friend

С VBM так не выйдет там 4 потока , я думаю когда кипяток (boiling water) брызнет на руки, тогда будут точнее инструкции.
Unfortunately I didn’t really understand your comment

How much seconds should you hold if you like hot capuchino
It depends on the machine better if you beginner use a thermometer 🌡️
I tried and it doesnt work, my milk keeps on being too thin😢 i dont know how to fix it cause i do exactly whats said

No it’s only fresh milk
I got it 😁

Thank you for the comment but I did not understand your question
Does this affect the taste?
Not really but it’s important
I think I got everything right but is 2% milk to low? I heard I need at least 3
If you beginner you need 3% to get you started
song?

how many second to steam?
My friend it depends on the machine you are using most home machines take 15sec and commercial machines take 5sec
@@Derothebarista thank you my friend! im in college taking coffeology subject, thanks for the answer! 🙂
i can NEVER have the right amount of air 🙄 Milk falls straight through and foam is at the top 😒

How long inside?
Depends on the espresso machine 5sec to 15sec
@@Derothebarista thanks
note that this is only for low pressure machines
You can use it on any machine this is a la Marzocco classic
Bro iam still on trials
Keep the faith bro all will be alright

Just start trying you can👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

how can u do this IF THE STEAMING WAND IS thin and low pressure air
Sure the tip I would recommend don't deep the tip of the steam to much in the milk when starting it will help in adding air in the milk and also to push the milk to mix up
when the steam start. can i slant the pitcher to help create the whirlpool ??
