The ratios for the vinegar and glue mixture is 2 parts white glue and 1 part white vinegar. I have only tested this with Elmer's Glue-All and standard distilled white vinegar. Different materials may have different results so I would definitely test carefully!

These are gorgeous Meredith, thank you. Great tips about the glue and vinegar-will definitely give that a go as I’ve wanted to try quilling with narrower strips but get frustrated when they unravel so easily- this might just be the answer. Thank you for sharing,❤😘
If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
Thanks Meredith! I have never heard of the vinegar and glue thing. Your videos are so informative! Thanks for sharing! 😊
It is a pretty neat trick! Thanks for watching!

Thanks Mer on another great tutorial. That vinegar thing is awesome. I'll give it a try.
And I'd like to mention that my daughter got into Applied arts high school.
Keep up the good work.
I mostly use Juya paper. Great value for a great price.
Congratulations to her on her accomplishments! I still have yet to give Juya paper a try. I hear good things!
@@ThePaperyCraftery thanks!
What a great idea with the vinegar and glue. It really does make it look different and makes the bond stronger, all good things. Thank you for turning us lol onto this idea. Love the flowers, so pretty. 😊
Thanks so much 😊

The petals on the orange flowers look to be a slightly different shape. What did you do differently to make them less rounded? I actually like the contrast of the two slightly different shapes. The colors are also lovely. I am just getting into quilling and I find your tutorials to be very helpful.
Good eye! I did make two different shapes. The orange flowers are just not pinched the same on the top. I usually have to do some trial and error before coming up with a final project but some of those first attempts still make it into the videos!
Beautiful. Do you ever make Half scale flowers?
Thanks! I'm not 100% sure what you mean by half scale? Just a smaller version? If so, any project can just be made on a smaller scale by using less paper.
If you don't have Washi tape, can you use a regular quilling mold?
Absolutely! In most of my 3D quilling videos, I use a proper mold, but sometimes I like to show other options too. If you'd like more projects using a quilling mold, I do have a playlist and you can see that here 👉 ua-cam.com/play/PLzKBIFJkUl_NXsod6v-tEvFOYx2aSj_zn.html
Hi I have a question is the paper strips feel like card stock? I bought some online and they're both from different companies I think. One feels like card stock and the other paper strips feels like craft paper.
Thank you
Yes, there are different weights of quilling paper and different companies may offer heavier or lighter strips, or even more than one weight. The card stock will be perfect for on-edge work and outlines and the lighter strips for the rest of your quilling.
Thank you for answering my question. Paper types and weights can get confusing. 😊
I did not know quilling had a certain paper to it.
It doesn't have to. Some just use the paper they have on hand. Some cut their own strips based on how heavy the paper is that they want to use. I like to buy mine precut because it's easier for me 😁
