Wow, that is so neat because it totally eliminates the need to put together the hidden paper clip on waxed paper which is how I did it while I made mine. I would round off the bottom corners just to make them slide over the page easier. TFS!

I’ve not made hidden paper clips but I’ve followed a tutorial and made some cute decorative charms using paper clips you bend to make curly Q’s on the end and attach charms and beads to for a decoration in a journal. I think I’ll make some of these like yours and use for bookmarks for gifts and embellish with cute items. Thanks so much for the tutorial! 🥰

It's a paper clip. It holds papers together, so it fills all of those uses plus adds fun and creativity to the process. Crafters use them as decorative book marks in journals, planners, notebooks, reading books, etc.
If paperclip is going to end up between pages of a closed book, think about putting added embellishments.. May catch and tear page so nothing dimensional is probably best
