This holiday was something different and something we don't normally do. For the first time in quite a while we headed away from the coast into south west New South Wales and had the time of our lives at the Laggan Pub Pig Races.
We opted to grab a powered site at the neighbouring town of Crookwell and then drove our van 8kms up the road to the smaller town of Laggan.
The pg races were so much fun. I highly recommend anyone after a fun weekend in the country to head out and try it themselves.

Thanks mate. Glad you liked it. I love the “asteroid” feature in quick shots. These little drones are so much fun. I shouted myself a DJI mini3 pro a while back and live it. Love the inbuilt screen in the remote & also love the 50 minute batteries too. No more battery anxiety.

Thanks Elma. My niece & her husband own Laggan Pub. It’s probably been the first time in years that we’ve driven away from the coast. Had a ball. Also reminded me how cheap van sites are out in these little country spots.

Great video - thank you! I picked green but the little piggy didn't 'zoom' around fast enough. On an our outback trip, we stopped at Tambo Qld and the local pub (The Royal Carrangarra Hotel) had chicken races. It was so much fun and all the proceeds went to charity! Totally agree with supporting the locals.

Hi Dennis, great video. The pig races look like a lot of fun. I agree with the size of the RM 20 and RM 19 being perfect sizes as it's so easy to drive anywhere. And easy to get on and off sites as well. As we only have 1 car, I drive our van to work be. cause it's small enough for the car park.

The country communities have certainly been hardest hit mate after covid that’s for sure. It’s nice to see that they are very grateful and allow people to stay overnight with an admission fee of a drink or meal. I would certainly be happy to add more than that.

@@RyanIngleton It’s fascinating but scarey at the same time. My son was showing me the chat GPT workings the other day & I was absolutely blown away. He has the paid version and simply told it to make a UA-cam thumbnail with a Motorhome in it based on a tree change holiday with a pub in the background. It then made a few and I picked the one I liked the most & used it for my latest vid.
Got good CTR and watch time but stilll didn’t get great views.
I’ve definitely noticed a drop in my channel since dropping back to monthly vids (from fortnightly vids)

Yes, my son made the thumbnails from AI (Chat GPT). Incredible how AI can make a pic on demand that way. Unfortunately it didn’t really blow my channel up 😢.
Luckily for me, I still enjoy making vids regardless. I use it as my own diary to look back through. Feel grateful that others watch it too.

Hi Dennis, Great video as always, I really enjoy your adventures. We are on our third get away in our rm 20.5, inspired by your video some time ago of an overnight stay at Kiama harbor we step there now. Where you parked is now 4P so we are down past the fish co op at the end of the road as there are no signs at all and two other motor homes as well. Me, the wife and 2 Whippets.

Sounds nice. Hope you had a great stop over. I’ve recently seen the 4 hour signs and noticed that people still stay there all night without getting moved on. Apparently the rangers only work Monday to Friday and knock off at 5pm. 😃👍

Yes. My current partner isn’t very enthusiastic about appearing in front of the camera which makes things tricky. I’ll tell her about your offer. Maybe she’ll get a little more motivation 😜👍
