- The streets of NYC are packed with soft serve shops left and right. But which ones are the best? It's a tough call, but these are my personal favorite places to grab soft serve on a hot day in the city.

Some interesting ideas, but I believe that you can only make a wheel so round. This video, to me, shows me more ways to overwhelm (i.e. ruin) the soft-serve concept that enhance it. Tea does not belong in soft-serve, neither does boba. Put another way, boba fans would shudder if i suggested we add ice cream to their standard boba teas and drinks. It's just weird. Mixing cake and pie... whatever, but please, please stop making everything a hipster-magnet with these vegan and bizarro novelties. It's ice cream. Soft serve is cheap (or should be), and making it some artificially upscale treat simply because you live in Williamsburg or Brooklyn, please... Just stop.
