So I have a Nikon D800 but it have failed to connect ( Am currently using an atem Mini extreme ).
With a set up of 3 inputs from propresenter 7.5.
I have ended up using Sony NXCAM.
But I real want to us Nikon.
At 5:20 you mention figuring out how to get the camera's hertz setting to match the BlackMagic ATEM, but you didn't say how exactly you did that. You must mention "cables." I am going crazy trying to get my ATEM to recognize my Canon.
Basically, with the older Atem Switchers, all the cameras framerates and resolution must match. On the new mini model, BM solved this with scalers on the inputs. Also, this should help you determining which cameras will work for streaming or connecting to a switcher. 1.shortstack.com/r2zfS5
No one actually answered your question, including the guy in the video, so I will attempt to do so. You don't get the camera's settings to match the ATEM Television Studio HD but vice versa. On the ATEM Television Studio HD go to Menu => Settings => Video Format. You will need to start going through the list of available video formats (e.g.., 1080i59.94, 1080po, etc.) and choose them one by one until the video from the Canon DSLR appears on the mini LCD screen. That's when you will know what your Camera's HDMI out settings are. The video record settings on the Canon camera are not, as this video explains, for the LCD screen itself; they're for recording to the SD Card. For the Canon 80D, the HDMI out setting is 1080p59.94 and as far as I know it's unchangeable. IMPORTANT: All other inputs must now match that video format or they won't play on the ATEM Television Studio HD. Hopefully those other inputs allow you to change video out settings (real video cameras/camcorders do). The comment above is for the mini model, but this video isn't about the mini..

I have been searching for days thinking if my video on my canon R is 1080p23.97 and this must be the same on the switcher until I read your comment and kept playing with it to find on the switcher it is 1080p59.94. Thank you for your comment under this video that has nothing to do with the title.
I just Bought me Black Magic Mini to work with my Canon 800d what difficulties can I experience in connection and will I been able to get a signal and does this mean I only have to used the same model cameras cause I planned to used two models 750D and the 800D

How did you get rid of the white rectangle when streaming? I feel like I have tried all of the options on my 60D
My Canon 4000D DSLR isn’t working with my ATEM Mini, just shows a black image. Do you know why this might be please?
@@markleverfilmmaker hey Mark! Really appreciate you getting back to me! I figured out the problem.. I had to disable the wifi in the settings and works all well and good now.
@@markleverfilmmaker I do have another question if you could help please... do you know how to remove the Focusing Box and also remove the Black surrounding box on the Canon 4000d in video mode?

Hmmm. You say you're able to match the dslr monitor to the ATEM resolution - but don't explain how you bypassed the dslr monitor res?
how do you bypass the monitor hertz to fps? so that my canon sl2 will match the res. of the ATEM switcher?
