Don't use chrome sockets on a windy gun, they might shatter, only use impact sockets.

How about the other side? Drive shaft there is much longer and it wont moved. How do you change that ball joint?

No need to loosen the driveshaft at all.
Replacement should be done strictly according to the manufacturer's recommendations according to the auto service book.
