I love Europe! Every song they ever made is incredible! Joey Tempest is absolutely amazing! The musicians........you can't get any better. Period.
The greatest thing about being 50 is that i was blessed with growing up in the 80's and being 13, 14, 15, when these songs/albums where released, and watching them enter the Top20 every single Saturday.... nothing will ever beat that magic....

Check out Stormwind and Wings Of Tomorrow from the Wings Of Tomorrow album (1984) and The Getaway Plan from The Secret Society album (2006). Heavier songs. Another great song are from the guitarist John Norum's first solo album Total Control (1987). The song called Eternal Flame. Great vocals by Göran Edman RIP and phenomenal guitar work by Norum
Cherokee by Europe is a must now. You'll love the music and the message is deep!!!

Oh there's so many good Europe songs, this whole album is out of this world ;) (hint hint). I recommend the songs "Sign of the times" (my favorite song), "More than meets the eye", "Cherokee" and "Girl from Lebanon".

In my opinion their first album is the best. They recorded it after winning the Swedish Rock Championship back in 1982 I think. Try Seven doors hotel from that album. So great.
Europe an awesome 80's Rock band. If you like them so much then you should check out "Let the good times Rock", "Coast to coast", "Open your heart", "More than meets the eye" all from their Out of this world album. Then also "ill cry for you", "Girl from Lebanon" and " Prisoners in paradise", from their same name album Prisoners in paradise. Europe a really great underrated band who deserved lots more acknowledgement. 80's Rock music from when music was real music played with real instruments by real artists.
Among other that hasnt been mentioned i would say prisoners by paradise also are a good song worth a listen too.

Love your reactions. The only thing I wish is that you would try to play more videos of the songs because sometimes seeing the video of the people playing gives it an even bigger Vibe. For example "Kansas Dust in the Wind" or "Boston Carry on Wayward Son". To see them in the era they were in, the hair, the clothes etc. It gives it Nostalgia.

Ahhh the poppy era of Europe! After The Final Countdown album, lead guitarist and shredder John Norum had enough of the direction they were going in and left the band. Then proceeded this album and I think one more with a decidly poppier sound. Thankfully Europe realized the error of their ways after that and hooked back up with John Norum and went back to being heavy hard rock / metal again. Check out their first two albums - Europe, and Wings of Tomorrow - for some seriously good NWOBHM music!
That being said this song ROCKS!
Well, my favorite albums from them are The Final Countdown, Out Of This World, and Prisoners In Paradise, so needless to say i disagree with you. I actually like Key Marcelo's playing more than John Norum's

My favorite song by Europe is ‘Yesterday’s News’.
"Final Countdown" seems to be the "go to" Europe for most but "Out of this World" is superior on every level and is criminally underrated.

I was part of the L.A. Metal Scene In The 80's . I walked those streets , I walked down the alleys . I know this sounds cliche but , That Time and Decade was magical . My Band played the clubs with a lot of the best bands out there . What I'm about to say isn't towards The 2 of You . Today's Generation aren't making real music . You can sit in your room , bathroom , or closet and create an entire album of music without using instruments . It's all computer generated . Too many people are relying too much on auto tune and tricks . Real instruments , being in a actual studio . Spending hours/days creating music . Putting in the hard work , there's no better way than that . Technology is Awesome in the studio if used correctly . Do your due diligence and the rewards are far better than the quick hit that'll be forgotten in a year or two . Make music that people will remember 10 , 20 , 30 years later . That's why My Generations music still holds up .

Check out some of there recent live performence. This was a big hit in the USA. A lot of sound enginering in this produktion. Souds really good. Kee marcello on solo guitarr. He was dumped when they reunited in 2004. Great player. So is John norum. Check out the song, prissoners in paradise from there final album before breaking up in 1992. Great album, but the grudge era killed the melodic rock music. Nirvana came along.
and of course there is an irony that Nirvana are no more while Europe are still out there touring and releasing new material...
Great song, great group...once people get away from the song The Final Countdown, they do some great music. Check out Rock the Night OR Cherokee
