I first learned about Dan Vasc's wonderful talent through this video which he released for Easter of last year. I haven't stopped listening and he's definitely my favorite. He's classically trained and sings every type of music. He does covers of metal, rock, opera, Broadway, movies, TV shows, Disney songs and does some wonderful Elvis as well. I had a similar reaction. I have a musical background and at 80 years old I’m blown away by his voice and range. He is now my favorite singer. Wait til you hear him sing Nessus Dorma in an operatic voice. Wow! ❤️🎶💖🎶
Dan always sings his covers with tremendous emition. This song is no exception. It blows most people away. Women cry, somtimes men too. The parts after the harmonica are so special, so unique, so mind-blowing, people have a hard time expressing their feelings. Even though the rhythm and the screaming/singing is so powerful, yet is so respectful, I have heard only four reactors have any criticism for the song, and that is with 70 or 80 different reactors. Reactor dj_410 said it better than any other reactor and with onky ONE word: he called it "TRIUMPHANT!! That one word so aptly discribed the metal part! I urge people to try to prove me wrong! To me, it is the perfect word.

I too have only recently discovered Dan Vasc. Yes you are saying his last name correctly. He wants to reach 1 million subscribers and I think he's right around 50,000 Short. I call him a chameleon when it comes to the range of his voice. He just dropped a couple weeks ago a metal version of my heart Must Go On from Titanic. The other videos making the rounds are I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan and Oh Holy Night night. He really likes to do covers of songs that were originally sung by women . Many of his videos have a little message from him afterwards. And there are vlogs that he has made. He is well spoken, humble, intelligent, talent coming out of every pore in his body. I'm sure people have listed songs to react to, so I'm just going to mention this although someone may have already mentioned it. The harmonica is very special to him because his dad gave it to him when he was seven. His dad passed in 2017. 4 days later he sang an American trilogy, a cover of Elvis as it was his dad's favorite song. All the reactors I have seen have been blown away by his cover of Amazing Grace but you're the first one that was on the verge of tears. It was a beautiful reaction to a beautiful performance

I doubt that many people will think to ask for it right away, but I just have a feeling you will love it...a lot. Personally, until Dan, I had never hear the song before, but since I heard it the first time, it's become almost a daily listen, for me. Thank you VERY MUCH for THIS reaction. 😀 PS...your hair looks almost exactly like my youngest daughter's hair (in color and texture, it appears). The last time she had anything significant taken off of her fabulous mane, was about eight years ago. Two weeks ago, she gave in and went and got it cut (very beautifully--I highly commend the scissors bearer) from hip-length to about 3" below her shoulders. As thick as it is, it's still VERY impressive. Left down, it spreads out in a wonderful array around her shoulders, but it's still long enough for her to do her special twist-and-spin bun that she pins at the top of her head. When he was singing Amazing grace it gave me chills and I really loved the way that he brought his voice out of the soft to the powerful ending of the song. Some people who do reactions like this video, would ask,is he a Christian, and in his Bio it reads that his mother is a Christian and took him to church every Sunday.
The first time I heard this I cried. I never like metal until this. Dan Vasc is a 34 year old Brazilian metal singer. Some want him to be a Christian singer based on this song but he is a metal singer to his bone structure. He showed me what metal music brings to the table. This is the best version I will ever hear. And he has stated that he is a Christian and put this out for Easter. He has over 230 videos done over the years as he continued to perfect his art. Most of his stuff is secular in nature but he does have faith based songs as well. The two shown on this video are a good place to start. He knows where to add the power, the softness, the grit, the screams and the clean melodies. He most of the production himself, especially the recording and filming; although now he can afford to hire people to help with some of the other technical stuff. I too have only recently discovered Dan Vasc. Yes you are saying his last name correctly. He wants to reach 1 million subscribers and I think he's right around 50,000
Short. I call him a chameleon when it comes to the range of his voice. He just dropped a couple weeks ago a metal version of my heart Must Go On from Titanic. The other videos making the rounds are I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan and Oh Holy Night night. He really likes to do covers of songs that were originally sung by women . Many of his videos have a little message from him afterwards. And there are vlogs that he has made. He is well spoken, humble, intelligent, talent coming out of every pore in his body. I'm sure people have listed songs to react to, so I'm just going to mention this although someone may have already mentioned it. The harmonica is very special to him because his dad gave it to him when he was seven. His dad passed in 2017. 4 days later he sang an American trilogy, a cover of Elvis as it was his dad's favorite song. All the reactors I have seen have been blown away by his cover of Amazing Grace but you're the first one that was on the verge of tears. It was a beautiful reaction to a beautiful performance
Great reaction. I just love seeing someone react to Dan for the first time! Dan sings everything from opera to heavy metal, though his preferred genre is power metal and 80's style heavy metal. And I've seen him in a number of podcasts and interviews - never heard him talk about himself in the third person! LOL One thing he doesn't do is take himself too seriously. Head down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed! Oh - and yes, you're pronouncing his name correctly. (His real name is actually Daniel Vasconcelos. He shortened it years ago for the many people in the world who couldn't pronounce it.)

Every song he covers is never a copy... Unique. His interpretations of Gethsemane Jesus Christ Superstar and Nesum Dorma are outstanding. The entire Witcher series and its Disney covers are out of this world. The selection of songs is huge. He is a really great artist. He puts his own stamp on each song. With his band "Fearless" he has put together an album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom. PS...your hair looks almost exactly like my youngest daughter's hair (in color and texture, it appears). The last time she had anything significant taken off of her fabulous mane, was about eight years ago. Two weeks ago, she gave in and went and got it cut (very beautifully--I highly commend the scissors bearer) from hip-length to about 3" below her shoulders. As thick as it is, it's still VERY impressive. Left down, it spreads out in a wonderful array around her shoulders, but it's still long enough for her to do her special twist-and-spin bun that she pins at the top of her head. GLORIOUS hair...as is yours.

When he was singing Amazing grace it gave me chills and I really loved the way that he brought his voice out of the soft to the powerful ending of the song. Some people who do reactions like this video, would ask,is he a Christian, and in his Bio it reads that his mother is a Christian and took him to church every Sunday.

The first time I heard this I cried. I never like metal until this. Dan Vasc is a 34 year old Brazilian metal singer. Some want him to be a Christian singer based on this song but he is a metal singer to his bone structure. He showed me what metal music brings to the table. This is the best version I will ever hear. And he has stated that he is a Christian and put this out for Easter. He has over 230 videos done over the years as he continued to perfect his art. Most of his stuff is secular in nature but he does have faith based songs as well. The two shown on this video are a good place to start. He knows where to add the power, the softness, the grit, the screams and the clean melodies. He most of the production himself, especially the recording and filming; although now he can afford to hire people to help with some of the other technical stuff. He has extensive training and it shows. Thank you for reviewing this incredible piece of art.
