    Looks great Brian! The aviation community is wonderful. 😊 The VDI gang needs to come up to Warner Robbins Airpark 5A2 every 4th Saturday for EAA 38 breakfast.
    Happy Landings!

    Another great video Brian! Good to see you enjoying your Avid. Hope you are planning on going to Oshkosh this year. I don’t know what the requirements are for a Media pass or what it would allow you to do but I bet you could get one with almost 2K subscribers. Congratulations on that!!! Be well and stay safe. If I don’t see you at Oshkosh, maybe I’ll see you at the Vidalia Onion Festival!

      Thanks Manny! I’m glad the weather is getting back favorable for flying. I would love to make Osh this year. I don’t think I’d fly it in the Avid, but I hope to attend. Definitely let me know if you come to the air show at the Onion Festival- let’s meet up!

    That should work good for you. Correct leverage is the key to good stopping power. I've often found those 3/16" brass fittings at autoparts stores with the brake lines. One other thing I did on my Avid was install an aluminum angle on the right brake pedal to stop my foot from sliding to the right. Got my toe caught under the verticle tube next to the rudder pedal a couple of times and that can cause an instant ground loop. I ran those tires for hundreds of hours on my Avid, they are kind of wiggly on pavement, but great on grass.

      @OneAV8  4 місяці тому

      I have noticed already that they grab more on pavement. Makes sense with more tire contact with the ground. The only thing I’m running into is not being able to fully brake when using rudder due to real estate limitations. There are some adjustments I can make on my rudder cable links to help with this I think.

      Also… Paul thought I may should reach out to you- do you know which company has the Spinner for the Avid? I have a part number, just can’t find it online.

      I do have an original fiberglass Avid spinner with backer plates. Never been cut or fit. Think it's about 9" diameter. @@OneAV8

      Yes sir- mine is a 9” I believe. The one that was on the airplane started to crack so I took it off. I’m looking for a replacement
