LOL, I just love your energy, enthusiasm, uplifting, encouraging demeanor, you are such a delight to watch, I am 8 months loc'd and to be honest I just started getting excited because I have noticed a change in formation and length, there's a few things that really irritate me is my hair constantly itches even after washing and frizziness after a week of retwisting, other than that, I'm absolutely love that I don't have to mess with my hair everyday.

Hey spirit, do you know how many locs you have. I started two days ago and I have 76. I really like how they look now but I’m afraid they’ll get too big once they start locing.

Hey love, so I’ve been on my loc journey for almost a year, will be a year in June, BUT, my hair doesn’t feel like locs at all, I’ve been very lazy with keeping my hair wrapped at night and I’m 100% sure that’s the reason why, all of the hair scarfs, ties and the bonnet I use are so tight on my scalp and gives me a headache and if I tie it too loose, it falls off at night so I just don’t bother, but what does bother me is my locs aren’t flourishing, any advice?
Kim Taylor yes deep condition weekly then rinse with a lil shampoo to prevent buildup. and spray water on your head daily! After water put a lil leave in and oil. And u must go get a bonnet your hair is drying out. They’re $3-$5 at the beauty supply and are necessary for hair health.
Get some silk pillowcases!! I still wear a bonnet but if and when it comes off I won’t wake up with a frizz ball on my scalp.
