Thanks for sharing your knowledge. What is the colour and finish on the speaker grills and the wooden trim? Was the wooden trim replaced with metal ones?
The staples are type 71 size 8mm. the plastic is just so the glue will not stick. it gets removed when I get to sticking the leather as I go along the door card

The grills are just standard black grill, I painted the original wood trims

Wonderful work, the best I've seen so far. I'm curious about how you prepare the surface before upholstering, is it fiberglass?
the surface of the card is vinyl. its sanded before gluing. the glue is a plasticiser resistant contact adhesive designed for vinyl.
