You gitta,admit Zabuza and Team 7 had no reason to fight after his employer backstabbed him.
Zabuza only fought them as a job, so them stopping made sense.
Kakashi also knows loss first hsnd, and more then once. So of all people he could respect their bond as comrades, but also father and son.
Zabuza needing to be in this role of killer was also largely to how the village raises killers by enforcing them to kill or be killed as children.
Haku growing on him is actually shown when he goes out of his way to get a pet for him.
So him feeling great hurt inside is ovetshadowed by the drilled in philosophy of the hidden mist. Naruto repeating what he tries hard not to thinn off however realisticly gets him still.
And Kakashi once again makes sure his Team lets him deal with the Traitors. Then honors them by putting them next to each other.
This werent villans. Just fellow Shinobi hired by the opposition. So this is one instance where talk no jutsu was just reminding a brainwashed father that his adopted kid loved him so much he died for him. And that cuts deeper then any blade.
Sadly in shippuden logic and belivable reactions went out the window.
Literally grew up with this anime.
Love every moment of it, the emotions the motivation. It changed my life, my view on people too. It's realistic

Like everybody said the last moments of this arc, are to this day one of the best moments in Naruto. The emotions are raw and they hit hard, when they are unexpectedly unveiled.
100% agreed. I think this is the 1st anime that the villains from the very first arc are still held in such high regard throughout the fsnbase (not counting Vageta as he ends up being a recurring character). So many villains have come and go throughout Naruto and the story of Zabuza and Haku still hits hard every time

I know Kakashi is always showed as Mr. badass and I love that part of him. But the scene when he carries Zabuza and take him next to Haku....shit.
He won my heart since that moment, he is an extraordinary character ❤
Before Zabuza killed Gato, he wouldn't have done that as Kakashi views those who disrespect their own comrades as the lowest form of filth. But Zabuza had earned his respect in the end.
Kakashi and Jiraiya are in my opinion the best characters in the show. Followed closely by shikamaru and itachi
naruto really deserves a proper remaster without all the unnecessary filler episodes because the stories and characters are just too good

I don’t think filler is the problem, because you can just skip it. The problem is the pacing and flashbacks in the canon episodes 💀 and if they remaster it, they should just work on that
The OG bleach series also needs a remake cos a lot of the fights would go hard with modern animation.

@@Moiz.7 naruto has decent pacing and for an old anime its really good naruto has 700 chapters and 400 canan episodes so per episode1-2 chapters are animated and thats good

if he hadn't sensed that, he would have let Naruto kill him earlier.

The last episode of this arc was my first introduction to Naruto, and I remember crying like a baby and not even knowing anything about these characters but it just hit that hard. You're seriously gonna enjoy the rest of this series!!
This arc was the show funbling and stunmbling onto the raw potential that it had. Its unrefined but it showed glimpses of what it could be. It begins to really find its footing in the chunin arc and then progressively gets better and better.
To me at least, first 20 or so episodes of Naruto were by far the best the show ever got. There were only few random scattered moments throughout the years that followed that reached anywhere close to the first few episodes.

@@oumaima1279 Pain arc was the main thing on my mind when I wrote about other moments that competed with the initial few episodes. Also the character deaths shortly before pain arc. They were really good.

I LOVE that Naruto is finally getting some credit for how amazing it is. The main story is top tier shonen. The best of the best. Yeah, it falls into filler hell, but on a re-watch you can skip the filler.
The manga is probably the best shonen manga written in the last 30 years.

I remember it like yesterday when I was weeky on the Edge of my Seat during the Pain Arc or when the 4th Ninja War was going on and each released Chapter with Madara fighting the Kage BLEW ME AWAY as a Teenager xD Pretty sure I actually came when I saw the Perfect Susanoo for the first time on a beautiful double Page in the Manga :D I used to read it online and the entire Series in Manga was actually one my first purchases as an Adult that I payed for myself :)

Nick, if you are wondering why Kakashi was able to smack Zabuza around later on, its not because Kakashi was charged or enraged by Haku's death, but because Zabuza's emotions are so much in turmoil that he is as nothing to Kakashi.

Land of waves is incredible. And ep 19 is the highlight of this arc . To this day after 14 years i still cry to this episode. God bless Toshiyuki Tsuru for directing this timeless masterpiece.
These episodes here are what introduced me to Naruto one fateful Saturday morning back in 2012 airing on TV between 9 & 12 when I still was just about to start High School (which is 8th grade in my country)
11 years later and I still cry when rewatching it.

The Sasuke death scene hit harder back in 2003 when Naruto didn't have 100s of episodes plus Boruto images of Sasuke all grown up.

I remember back then i was so upset and took a break from the series because i thought sasuke was actually dead in that moment until months later when i randomly saw an episode of him with naruto and Sakura in the forest of death 😅
It's amazing how kuch respect for them as people is given in this series, no matter what side they're on. Because its a telling of how war affects everyone and no one is completely blameless. Glad you enjoy this show as much as we have for years. Cant wait for Naruto week!
Yeah, Zabuza was never really a good person. He had no issue killing others. But he was still human. He actually did care for Haku. You can even see it in their flashbacks. If Haku was just a weapon, I don't think Zabuza would be patting him on the head like we see him doing.

There is a bridge called "Ōnaruto Bridge - 大鳴門橋" which is known for whirpool in the sea in Japan and It is said that "Great Naruto bride - ナルト大橋" is a motif of this bridge. I think that's why Inari's grandpa named the bride after Naruto:)
I remember watching episode 19 on Cartoon Network and it made me fall in love with Naruto as a series. Steve Blum also did an amazing job as Zabuza

The land of waves arc showed me this show can use its power system in an interesting way, without hampering the storytelling and it hits just right as an opening arc to get people invested.
The brilliance of this arc, the brutality and violence of the shinobi world is truly remarkable. Kishimoto did an outstanding job
I always used to think it was lame that they named the bridge after Naruto, but later I learned that it's actually based on a real bridge in Naruto, Japan. In fact, that's where Naruto gets his first and last name; Uzumaki means spiral/whirlpool and is a reference to the eddies that form under the Ōnaruto Bridge!
Finally, Nick made a full featured movie. This is cinema!
So crazy how both Sasuke and Naruto awakened their powers because if strong emotions when the other was in danger. A power couple indeed

Ngl Naruto is and will always be the King of Shounen (at least for me). Bleach is amazing too, and One Piece might still be going strong after like 2 Decades, but they just don't have those amazing Characters and actual deep Motivations, not even mentioning the literally perfect OST. The Straw Hats just "wAnT tO bE tHe BeSt AnD bE fReE", Ichigo literally just wants to save People and won't let anything regarding his Friends slide, that shit doesn't compare to Narutos' upbringing/Childhood, the Fate of the Uchiha Clan, People like Rock Lee and topics like actual War and the bloody Life of a Shinobi in general. Naruto has Characters with Trauma and real Motivation, it stands atop the "Big 3" even to this day ! I obviously love Bleach, One Piece and many other Shounen that came out in recent years, but if i had to pick ONE with a Gun to my head - that's Naruto without question or hesitation xD

The big 3 does all deserve a uncensored remaster with good pacing and no fillers.
All three shows could easily be remade into less than 200 episodes if the pacing is good.

Naruto is good cause unlike most shonen anime, there really is death. It makes the stakes feel more real. That and there's maybe 3 characters in the whole show I ever actually hated? Kishimoto did an excellent job with his world building.

finally a video that is not criticising this anime!!! I have watched countless of animes but this one is the 3rd best ive ever watched. Although while i agree that some fillers were annoyingly boring, I cant label the entireeee series as 'boring' or 'mid' just because of some fillers, like some nerds on the internet, who tend to ignore the depth of the storyline.

This is one of the best introductory arcs in shonen nekketsu manga, not only is really tight but promises tone and themes really well, and most of them will be uphold until the very end. Naruto never deviated from his ninja way, the way he learned in this arc. The best of the big 3.
