Morgan is clearly very intelligent. But this isn't even a case of being smart or not , it's a case of being an honest , moral person with very little hypocrisy. Mearsheimer clearly lacks all of them , except for hypocrisy ; that he has in spades.
What this seems to boil down to, is that Morgan thinks Ukraine can actually win. If he actually understood how bad it is and how impossible it was, I don't think he'd be saying what he's saying.
