I played with a large Beaver that smelled like a muskrat from 2 foot away about 30 years ago. I snagged it at 2:30 a.m in a Michigan Bar.🍻 ✌ No Two Hearted Ale involved😹 target practice in the dark!🎯
🤣🤣🤣 I literally just laughed when I read this! Ain’t nothing wrong with some target practice in the dark but next time throw some sweet baby rays on it and enjoy🤣🤣
I like your videos been on a binge. I’m a traditional hunter up here in Manitoba. An elder told me muskrats are one of the cleanest animals of you pay attention to their lifestyle. Thanks for the video!
Thank you I’m glad you’re enjoying them. I can see that being true too. They have their different areas for everything from the bathroom to where they eat and where they sleep. And to top it off they’re not bad eating either!
😂 Isn’t it funny how the wormhole of UA-cam can take you from videos on baking a cake to ingrown toenails being removed lol. It can be a slippery slope some nights 😂. Hopefully you enjoyed this one though and happy new year!
I always enjoy you videos, makes me wish I had more woods near by. I agree about knowing how to cook, I've had friends tell me they dont like fish only to ask for seconds at my house lol.
After watching several of your videos I subscribed to your channel yesterday. Looking at the terrain it reminds me of my home state of Michigan. I challenge you to cook some of these animals the old way using a fire as your heat source as if you're on a bug out after an emergency.
I actually have a plan to go out this coming fall for a weekend with hopes of taking a tarp as a shelter and cooking what I get this way. We’ll see if I can make it happen!
M8 cheers on your success . Muskrat cooked as you did had a real palletable flavour , just like beaver , or opossum , or woodchuck . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
I agree, if cooked right it was delicious. I love beaver too, I just last night had beaver stew. I have always wanted to try woodchuck I hear it is very good. I would try opossum too if given the chance.
