- Today's video is regarding the report that the Robeson county sheriff's department put out. Mica Miller's body was found in Lumbar river state park In North Carolina. Her pastor husband John-Paul Miller claims she did it to herself with a gun. She was in the process of trying to divorce and separate from JP.
JP is having an affair with another women and seem very happy with her just day after her death.

I question why the police didn't protect Mica more. She filed complaints and was being harassed and harangued by her abuse ex and his weird girlfriend. She said she was worried about her safety. The lunatic deflated her tires and put a tracker on her vehicle. Why wasn't she given protection?? Law enforcement let her down and it cost her, her life.

All they tell you is to file a restraining order. She did that. Unless you call 911 and they show up and that person is there causing you bodily harm or threatening it, they will just tell them to leave. That's it. It's a piece of paper. They aren't magical beings that can stop someone on a dime.

I'm glad you made this video for anyone that may have doubts. The day we heard her 911 call and the police showed the evidence, it was clear to me. I hope the family files a civil lawsuit against J.P. and gets him where it hurts...his pocketbook. I also hope it opens people's eyes to who he truly is, so Mica's death is not in vain. Thanks Gray

I think this JP saw how the congregation reacted when news of his affair with Mica broke.
He knew he couldn’t risk news of another affair, and a divorce from Mica, he would be tossed out on his ear. He almost lost everything from the first affair, so he mentally tortured her until she saw no other option but to commit suicide.
So here he is, second time around and his mistress (who with her husband were also members of this Church) have both been set free from their respective marriages by the suicide of their spouses.
So he AND she are golden. They were talking to each other about how they felt. Romance bloomed. They were both widows, no shame in that.
So they will end up together and married. 😢
It wouldn't surprise me if he is sleeping behind her back, his done it many times as we now know he likes them young.

Wait so I'm confused. Did Mica have an affair with him?? Is this a fact? I'm confused. I'm hearing a lot of different versions of how they met and so forth. And if it was true that she had an affair with him, did her family know? Is her family involved in church? Why would they not advise against it? I'm just curious. I'm not placing blame. I'm just wondering. I feel like there's so many holes and missing pieces. I'm trying to put this all together.
If he marries a 49 year old woman it's strictly a front.
I think sadly she ended her own life, but when she told her relatives if she was ever found shot in the head it was JP, I think she meant it as it’s because of him she was driven to this.

I think it's the Myrtle Beach Police Department that should be questioned? A thorough investigation should be done on their lack of protection for Mica. They need to answer for their lack of protection for Mica. Something happened in those last 48 hours that made her take her life.
I’m still stunned the investigation shows she died by suicide.

Are NC gun laws that lax that they give one immediately upon purchase to an out of state ID holder???
The pawn shop is in Myrtle Beach, SC, where she lived. She bought the gun there, put it in her car and drove to the state park in NC, which is just over the state line.
The gun laws in SC are incredibly lax and yes you can buy one in less than 30 mins there.

For that day, Mica is seen on at least 3 cameras. Leaving her apartment and she made 2 stops. Gun and gas w/soda. On that same day, John Paul is on no cameras? None of him leaving his house? No gas stops? No sodas or food? No soccer game video? No posts of that sports event on Facebook or Instagram? The police had to pull a plate reader? If it was me, I would have already posted myself at the soccer game.
The police probably have other confirmation of his alibi--camera footage, cell phone data, etc.--that they haven't shared with the public.
@@l.a.3479 Why would the police hide his alibi? What is so nefarious about JP being recorded getting gas in Charlotte on the 27th of April? It actually helps him. Fun sporting events are usually recorded. Road trips are usually recorded. None of the witnesses took pics or video? If I was with him and he was my friend I would have given the Police proof immediately.

They said same in Kristen Trickle case also.. we have to believe what the experts tell us but that doesn't mean we can't feel differently. Especially at those of us who have been through similar situations. The 911 call still sounds bizarre to me. She knew where she was why not just say ,"my name is Mica and I'm at so-and-so Park " . But what really bothers me is that it only took less than an hour for her to buy a gun and then use it. If she had such extreme mental issues don't they run checks or ask for permits before you buy a gun ,normally? Idk.. she needed to do was Google the park she was going to and leave her family a note she didn't need to ask if the phone was traceable that's bizarre in my opinion no conspiracy theory I just feels weird in my gut that's all 😢@@rebeccaswift7588

You can believe what you want but that doesn't make it true. Perhaps the husband's psychological abuse pushed her to the brink where she felt she had no other way out. She's seen on video buying the weapon. She calls 911 to state her plans and let her family know where she will be. There's absolutely zero evidence that anyone else was involved. Zero! Just because the husband is a terrible low life cheating pastor doesn't make him a killer. His actions and the way he treated her is abhorrent but again doesn't make him a killer.

It might be interesting to see the ownership of the other cars there at Park (from the photo) and see if they had any communications with anyone else she knew.
I think she did not take her own life. It's hard to believe that she did. She was exposing some bad stuff going on wirh her husband and the church. I think she would've left a goodbye letter. Something is really strange about this. Like the 911 call she made. She sounded way too calm, not crying? Maybe it was a different woman?
Somehow i think she was murdered and made it look like she took her own life. She bought the gun for self defense? She had just served divorce papers. But then again she probably couldnt take the emotional abuse anymore by this psycho pastor/husband! He's the sick one and will rot in hell!
Thanks Gray!! I figured this was gonna be the case. However, before i thought maybe she may have been trying to set him up. None of it negates the fact that hes a horrible human and I do believe he drove her to it.
Is it true that she was one mile into the woods from where her car was parked? That's what I heard. Why would she walk that far into the woods to kill herself??? And how long would that take her? Do they have cameras in the parking area? Who found the body? It wasn't the one who found her belongings from what I heard. If the man heard her crying why didn't he hear her talking to the 911 operator? What time did the police get to the park? Too many unanswered questions.
Why not? Maybe she didn't want to be found by a family out picnicking. By the way, talking calmly and crying tend to be at different volumes, and biology has designed humans to hear and take notices of other humans in distress. We're pack animals, afterall.
@edwine8857 In my experience most people at that point don't care who finds them. I know people who killl themselves in their houses and their children or spouse find them. And if she was worried about her family why would she kill herself knowing how much it would hurt them? Too many pieces of the puzzle that don't fit for me. Just my opinion.

This is so heartbreaking 💔. I’ve suffered with Clinical Depression for 38 years. Only by the Grace of God am I still alive. Mica was a beautiful soul. She may have pulled the trigger, but her “husband” helped her. 😡 Edit: Why was there no waiting period on the gun since she had mental health issues?
Can someone interview the “kayaker”? Was he staged / involved by JO’s church goons? Such timing! Since the first fisherman DID NOT SEE S BODY when he found Micas belongings… immediately after the SHOT??

Such a God-loving woman, afraid of the sin of divorce, it seems very strange, that she took her own life. in many religions ,it is above the sin of murder. Also bizarre, that she put gas in her car, if that's what it said😢.
Nothing bizarre about putting gas in her car. Maybe she was on empty. The state park is about 45 minutes away from her apartment in Myrtle Beach.
Also in the 911 call you hear someone saying mica’s folder and someone saying lumber state park and on the full 911 you hear what sounds like a struggle.
It’s so odd that she has a fresh toasted sandwich in a bag on the seat.

If I was a juror I would easily believe the 911 call was AI or a mix ed collab generated and played by either a. JP or b. Another party
I think the 911 operator assumed the caller just wanted to know her location because she was lost. She failed to get immediate help.
She obviously didn't know Mika was suicidal until Mika told her.
Poor operator. Must've been quite shocking to hear those last few words. Thinking you're helping someone get home safely and you've actually helped them finalise their suicide plan.

Gray, when you use google maps they estimate the time to get to a destination by others gps and not by the speed limit off the road.. google can tell when the traffic is jammed so the road speed limit means nothing.. its all goes by average speeds of all drivers on that route
Oh, that's interesting, I just looked that up. I think walking speed is based on avg speed that humans walk as they don't track people

My ex followed me for months, in 2 different cars. One he rented just for this purpose. He would show up at my running spot. I went only to public locations, and he'd pop out from behind garbage cans. He also persuaded many friends to harass me for daring to leave him. She should not have gone down the trail....😢. Of course he didn't need to do this himself. I'm sure it was planned

Apparently he has an attorney now and are threatening lawsuits against UA-camrs and people talking about him on social media. I haven’t heard it yet , but be careful Gray you do amazing work for victims don’t want you having any issues with the law. I’m not sure how it works
I don’t share my story much, however I once called in to your show Gray and shared part of it. JP imo is responsible for driving her to ending her life. Sadly I was there once, and understood how you get there. Something needs to change with how the law is allowed to deal with people like him. It’s happening all the time, and nothing changes. Breaks my heart. Praying for some type of justice for Mica , and also for this man’s behaviours be known to all.

Shame that we don't have stricter gun purchasing laws so that a person with documented/treated mental problems ( depression, psychosis, i.e) would be unable to buy a gun. She must have had familiarity with shooting guns.
Depending on the state, if someone is placed on hold, hospitalized, it is reported to DOJ and they are not allowed to purchase a gun. Not sure if she was hospitalized..I'm still really confused on her dx, tx, and if she was on meds. So much is being focused on her husband, and I understand why ... I'm just curious, did she actually have a mental health diagnosis? I'm not minimizing. What happened? I'm curious. I feel like I'm missing a lot of information.
In California, if you are on a 72-hour hole then you are not allowed to purchase a gun for 3 or 5 years. If you were on a 14-day hold then you are not allowed to purchase a gun at all. And if somebody's place on a hold and we know that they have a gun, we are supposed to call their local sheriff or Police department so that the gun is removed and it's documented that it has been removed. At least that's how it works in most psych, hospitals that I've worked in.
You need permit/ back ground checks.If mental health issues- typically a hold.

The marriage for her was a commitment of love and to serve God together. But, the marriage to him was a business transaction. He didn’t love her. She tried to leave him more than once. He drove her lose it. Emotionally abused her.

@@GrayHughesInvestigates Someone hired by JP could have gotten into her car at the right time and made her drive there.
It’s a known fact that JP had installed detectors on her car a few times already and I believe he also took her car at some point when they were already separated and her tires were slashed and when her tires were slashed weirdly enough he appears at the same gas station she went to after getting her tires fixed.
So this is a pattern of his, so it’s a possibility that he hired someone to get into her car and made her drive there and made her call the cops to make it that much credible that she chose to do this all on her own and made her pull the trigger.
As far as her calmness, coming from Domestic Violence and all the emotions that comes with that, I can here in her voice the resignation of okay, I’m done running from you, you got me and this is how it’s going to end , you win JP.
I saw a video of her child hood friend saying that in the town she was found it was known for people to commit suicide and that it usually wasn’t investigated because it’s a really dangerous part of the area.
With the power that this JP guy has and his dads back round and never did time for it, is very telling of who these so called God loving people are and who could be protecting them IF no one is held accountable for this.
The evidence she left behind is very telling of what this man is capable of and just looking at the bizarre sermons at church , talking about a young hot girlfriends 🤢

He has ties up there in Lumberton.. Lots of corruption, crimes and murders swept under the carpet and criminals get away with dirty deeds. Its also known the Native Americans do thinhs and never get charged. My opinion.. He had her tracked and tols someone her location and they harm her... All while he had an "alibi" to cover his tracks. What are the odds he was on the road gping the opposite direction on THAT particular day?? Its too suspect. It's like he eas setting a stage!

Can her family log into her phone service provider and see the call logs and who was the last person she called and the length of the call? They can request a call record from her phone provider by court order if they don’t have access to her phone

Yeah in SC there’s no waiting period or anything. They do a rapid federal background check to see if you’re a felon and that’s it. You don’t have to be registered or trained.
He imo caused alot of this to her who knows what he said by phone, emails or texting. And to keep putting her down to his flock of sheep as really is a WOLF. As stated to her that he had got many things on her. Im glad she got baptised as now she doesn't belong to his church no longer. As for Micca to make up her mind i think that's why she called 911 and not family as she didn't want to be talked out of it. I feel for the boat guy i cannot imagine how he feels guilty and for the 911 operator she would feel the same. Micca has got him back tho after her death now look at him now his being shunned and SHAMED.

How do we know for a fact that she was being tracked? She was bipolar and it’s entirely possible she could have been paranoid and/or making that up, same with “slashed tires”. Of course it could be true , but it drives me crazy when these “rumors” get spread around on UA-cam as if we know them “for a fact”. Where did this come from?
I knew of someone who was bipolar and cut herself to make it look like her husband did it and it was all self-inflicted. We just don’t know these things for sure.
It’s in police reports. Her husband drove by when she was reporting the incident at the sheriffs office. So there’s witnesses
There’s a police report that confirmed that auto mechanic at the dealership found it and it was given to the police officer who took the report. She didn’t make that up.
Maybe the 911 worker was trying to prolong her on the phone by acting like she couldn't see where Mica was. In reality she might have been notifying staff she needed help with a suicide. Maybe the 911 worker thought that she was handling the call correctly. She had a split second to decide how to handle this situation. I'm sure this worker will have ptsd from this call for the rest of her life. The poor fisherman too. A lot of lives have been ruined by the wicked actions of her twisted ex. Maybe Mica felt it was the only way to be free of him.
Good job, she definitely was saying what she was told and everyone still human knows it. The other half will be getting more violent if he gets away with it.
My best friend committed suicide the same exact way he called me seconds before and told me he was going to do it just like mica did me n the 911 call. I could tell from watching her videos that she was going to do this. Her mannerisms were so similar. Also, her mind is made up in the 911 call.
I think..maybe..., she pawned that gun earlier, to get it away from herself. Whatever tipped the scales happened that day when she couldn't pay her car payment. Just my Opinion. She knew the law was definitely gona show up. She knew where she was FS. IMO.
If you can't pay a car payment how do you have $$ for a Sig Sauer? They aren't cheap. There's something very odd about all of this. Suzies husband's death needs to be reinvestigated .. but it's SLED, they have been known to drop the ball. Numerous times. JP is Satan. I agree , I have never known it to be so quick to buy a gun. I certainly think it would be easy enough to see if another vehicle was following her , even in a distance. I still smell a rat. She calls 911 to state her plans and let her family know where she will be. There's absolutely zero evidence that anyone else was involved. Zero! Just because the husband is a terrible low life cheating pastor doesn't make him a killer. His actions and the way he treated her is abhorrent but again doesn't make him a killer.
