I agree and all the 'kids' are internet dating, meeting up with people they've met online now. I also wish parents would give their kids a break. If you know you won't be able to deal with your child growing up and having their own way of life that is different to yours you should think twice about becoming a parent in the first place.
No parent wants their child living this kind of "lifestyle". It's dangerous and unhealthy.

If my child is missing my values are out the window and I want my child home safely. The more information released the better IMO, I would not be holding or wanting to hold anything back, distressing and invasive as it is.
There is a park right there during the day it's for walking trails and birdwatching, night is a different story. Generations of locals know this

I agree with your assessment 100%. No way a body of Caleb’s size fell into that manhole. Imo the person was either placed into the well or went in on their own. Perhaps they need to question employees.

This is a very gruesome case. Yet very intriguing. Meeting up with random people on the internet in the middle of the night is very risky behavior wow.What a horrific way to die.

Shared and watched the whole thing! I like this shorter videos as I can’t often make your lives at night so these are great. I agree with you 100% that there’s no way his body could fit into a 15” diameter pipe , and with the added sewage flow on top of all that! No way … a pressure sensor would have gone off in the past four months of being stuck. There’s just no way. Really appreciate your thorough explanation of the pipes and maps.
There's no pressure sensors in the pipes. There's sensors at the pump station that tell the city if the pump is running, but the sewer system is not pressurized or sealed to be able to create pressure. There are holes in every manhole, so no way for pressure to build up, it just goes out the holes.
also, to my knowledge:
the Harris family has been the only family the police notified of the body, none of the other missing males of similar builds were. I saw someone say that they were unable to use dental records, thus why there hasn’t been a positive confirmation as to who it may be… this may imply that there wasn’t a head etc. there was an arm found in one of the ditches/drains in the nearby areas which i believe is what set off the alarm for this body to be found. looking at the picture (i saw the unblurred version), the head and arms are not visible. when the remains were found, they were 17ft underwater.
So was he dismembered and tossed in there? Could the dismemberment be just due to decomp under water?
@krystaldaniels7940 possibly, but not necessarily. It's been months. With that level of decomposition, his body parts may have came off on their own.

I agree with the others, I like these videos better. I don't like livesteams by any youtuber. Some stretch their lives out for over 5 hours and it's constant interruptions and hours getting to the point. Us working people don't have time for that.

With all the places that have surveillance cameras nowadays, you'd think there would be something in that area. It sure would help a lot in this case. He definitely didn't put himself in there.

I don’t think shrooms would have made him want to climb into a well on his own. That kind of irrationality seems to happen more with psychosis. Leaning toward someone knowing something we don’t know.
Right! Shrooms could also explain why he took that last foggy photo-things appear more interesting tripping than they do in regular 3d consciousness.

The arm was not attached. Someone can fit if a detachment from shoulder took place before being placed into piping.

Aside from my comment about the length of the video...
Most people wouldn't have a clue that pump station is there or take any notice of the manhole/sewer system, or they wouldn't know what it is, etc. Somebody did and that is a smaller population of people to look a., in my opinion.
Chicken or the egg? Did he start struggling because he was distracted by something, or was he struggling and found something to distract himself?
I would guess he was struggling with his life and it caught up with him and he started down the road to damaging behavior, sadly.
Hi Gray, I originally thought the Perry Lift station flowed to Greenwood Water Treatment plant as well (because LE went over there that night after finding the body). But if you look at the downstream codes on the pipes, I verified and followed the flow up to the Oso Water Treatment plant. I also agree a typically grown man cannot fit in a 15" pipe. I've heard they they went to Greenwater with the sewage they pumped out of the well to filter it. Why they chose Greenwood vs Oso I'm not sure.
Possible the camera system is linked to at Greenwood and they went to review footage

As parents we don’t always agree with lifestyles that our children choose but hind sight is 20/20. I’m sure his parents wish they could go back in time and make amends. No parent ever imagines they will lose their child. May he rest in peace! 😢😢
Excellent coverage Gray. It was noted that it was extremely foggy that night. My gut feel is that this was a freak accident of some type. Are we 100% sure that in the area by the pump house, there were no 'open' areas, that in the fog at night, one would not see and then fall into?
His parents probably did not know he was failing, nor did they know his Job offer was off the table. My niece had a friend who had been withdrawn from school for almost a year before her parents found out. Caleb probably kept his interest in same sex a secret from his Family since they are very religious. I hate that everyone is bashing his parents whom are living in a Parents Worst Nightmare. As Christians, We are not supposed to Judge 🙏🙏🙏Not only have they lost their child, they are having to live with the fact that Caleb had to hide his Lifestyle and if he didn’t maybe he would still be here. It’s heartbreaking to see some people so judgmental and blaming his parents when they are going through the hardest time of their lives. Prayers for Caleb’s Family & Loved Ones 🙏🙏🙏

I live in corpus, and I heard either it was left opened and he fell in. Or there was a ex employee that never returned his keys after he quit working for them after I think about 6 weeks. 🤷🏻♀️ there’s a bunch of rumors since they found the body.

If the stormwater system is connected to the wastewater system, I suspect a gator attacked the young man and pulled him into the stormwater pipes.

If Caleb or Not , someone placed the individual there and certainly have access to that area. Really should be checking all pump stations. There 4 Caleb being one.

I doubt they are in denial. They probably just didn't want him smeared all over the internet.
Caleb was probably dishonest with them about things too, like the grades, classes, job stuff and his hookup activities. They can only know what they’re being informed of. I doubt Caleb was telling his parents he was meeting older men in the middle of the night. Uninformed or misinformed is not the same a being in denial.

This was so well done! You always impress me with your graphics and like most other cases...I agree with your logic. I just can't imagine a circumstance where Caleb is out investigating manholes or sewage lines at 3am and falls in. Even with shrooms added....it just doesn't seem like it would allow his remains to transport from an area along the street. Definitely seems like it would more likely be a place where someone dumped a body.

I think he met the wrong person that night or persons.
I think the photo of the alleged remains could be very misleading: Perhaps at that stage it was more like a bit of balloon that had floated to the surface than a solid human skeleton with all the muscles, etc holding the bones in place. So passing through narrow pipes may have been possible after a few months.

That was interesting. I also presumed the remains were 'parts'.. mostly from decomp not from chopping. Certainly changes the whole scenario. With the methane, and other waste, etc, there will be no DNA that can be traced either.

Who has proper credentials - who was working each night/day at the site; when was the hatch opened/closed, where are those records; check out the employees...
It's not a manned station where someone is assigned to work all day. Employees have access with keys, but it's not like they only go there on a schedule. They access the site when they need to, or to do routine maintenance. If an employee is responsible for the body being there, I doubt they did it when they were scheduled to be there anyway. Regardless, I'm sure the police don't need our suggestion to check into this lead, I'm sure this is one of the first things they are doing.
I would hazard a guess as well that the fence and gate to enter and the grill into the well may well be secured with padlocks.
Had they been tampered with or was a lock even fitted to the grill. Not too difficult to open padlocks if you know how.
Looking at the sewer system looks like the pipe goes straight from “Gaslight st. ” where there’s a desolate area and there’s also a system near the tackle shop that looks like it goes into the pump station? Could he have gone through the system from one of those areas?
From what it sounds like, the pipes would not be wide enough to pass a body Caleb’s size (he was a thicker dude) without setting off the blockage alarms, which would then dispatch a maintenance worker and the body would then be found at that time.

Okay, so probably directly dumped in the lift station well. I saw the video of the open manhole on that mound, it looked bigger than the 15 inch it actually is. And as you said Caleb is not a skinny guy. Probably too risky anyway open field near a road. At the lift station you can "take your time" with hardly any risk. Apparently no cameras there?
The post from that lady about her neighbour is interesting. Did Caleb unknowingly hook up with someone he recognised/knew and that person killed him because he did?
Or are we dealing with a psycho/serial killer?
It could indeed be that the boy was dealing with an addiction and possibly a lack of sleep because of it, which might have resulted in failing at school/uni.

Now I'm even more confused. The civil engineer writes, "These types of facilities have *real time* tracking...." and "...the body would have blocked the flow to the lift station signaling the operator to investigate the issue." To me that implies that the body would have signaled maintenance as soon as it was placed into the well. (???)
It wouldn't disrupt flow in the well. It reminds me of the watts case with the oil. He didn't place the girls together because the wells are monitored. But also it's people who have to follow through when there's a signal and unfortunately humans can be negligent. Think about the oil leak with watts, they should check those immediately but left it for over a week. So there could have been a disruption in flow that was ignored or even missed.
Can they find out what account that the meet-up was from?
There was a case a few years ago, same thing. Young man’s body ends up in lift station. He vanished late at night. Cases are very similar. Could killer have moved from Oregon to Texas???

What is the well cover made of? Is it heavy? Can one person lift it? The cover must have been put back on the well which would exclude him from entering the well himself…Aren’t there cameras at the site?
Are you telling me that the well in the pumphouse wasn't checked for 4 months..? Are you telling me the alarm didn't go off for 4 months with a body in there...then the alarm suddenly decides to go off..? Something does not sound right with this. Also i dont believe it was almost a whole fleshy body. They said they cant even tell if male or female which means all the fleshy parts are missing, rotted away..!!
Possible that the pump was running fine because there was so little water moving through the system, then with the flooding that happened months later, an obstruction entered the well (body) stopping the pump and causing the issue that prompted maintenance.
Who said that they couldn’t determine the gender ? LE or internet? How often are pump houses inspected? I agree that if a body had been in there for 4 months, something should have triggered it to shut down or signal malfunction. Super weird.
@@erikamichels103 Like I said, it may not have been there for 4 months. Or if it was, maybe the well was operating a such a low volume of fluid that the body was not moved over to the pump...until the recent flooding filled the well up and moved the body around to block the pump.
The body may have been weighed down originally and then broke free after enough decomp had occurred and there was natural disarticulation. Then, it was only setting off alarms or becoming visible at the point it was moving freely in the water, which could have been very recent.

I question why the orange cone is there in the girls video. I would imagine a city worker would have put it there. So workers were there before (when?) And left the manhole cover off and put a cone there???
From what I understand, that was a water well and was not city owned. It is not part of the sewer system and does not feed into the pump station. The cone was there so people knew it existed. So they didn't hit it/run into it.

I know the water gets purified, but if they think some of the smaller limbs & body parts got detached and shipped out to the waste treatment plant, I might be a bit squeamish drinking my tap water if I lived in that area. 😳
Treated water does not get reused as tap water. It is released to the drainage system.

We don't know what the pump house represented to Jay and his friends. They could have gathered there at different times to party. I was typing while listening and you just mentioned that he could have been doing schrooms and also he was trying to hook up with other guys, older than him. Ok so now my mind is changing about it NOT being an accident. The fact that LE has not officially stated that the remains are Caleb makes me think they are already on to something.
