Small stream trout fishing

This trip was in late January when the Cormorants started to invade the rivers in large numbers. Thankfully this trip to a small stream was worth it with a few tannin water trout being caught & released before the Cormorants increased in big numbers in it as the season went on. Hi Tony, always good to hear from you mate, it was a fairly good time spent in the small stream & the trout even though most were small they were in good condition which was good.

Thanks for tuning in Allan, you're spot on about the Mepps Thunderbug, it is a great lure and it's certainly caught a lot of trout for me during the 2023/24 trout season..👍👍
