I also appreciate how you share your knowledge to help others. Additionally, you always explain WHY you do what you do, which is invaluable. I wish you continued success. Thank you so much.
Try doing a tally on your sheet as you go so you can tell if any product is missing when you do final inventory. The square app is actually really good for what you're looking for, you may have to get their reader though. You can create as many products as you need and put it into categories such as 'pop up' so when you go to make a sale the prices reflect accurately and tally up a report for that day's sales
Erica! Another great video. I cannot express how much I appreciate how freely you share information. I talk about you all the time. When people ask me how things are going, you always come up in the conversation - lol! Thank you!
I swear, I just opened up UA-cam, and this video was suggested, but picked up where I had left off watching it last year. Right at the POS system part. I was frustrated with this last year because I really wanted a feature on my POS system that would just allow me to do a general price on an item. But I couldn’t figure it out! And here we are, right before market season, and I see this video… Right at this POS system part. 🙏❤️ I love when life does that! Thank you so much for showing me this. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that… Because you can select your sales channels on Shopify, but I’m very grateful for you showing me.
I made a sweet vanilla-y scented room spray and the formulation works, you just have to watch the IFRA sheet. The only difference is visual for me and it makes the sprays with vanilla look more yellow than clear.
Love your videos Erica! Keep them coming. Was wondering where you get the linen bags for your melts? Had my first Farmer’s Market last weekend it was awesome, sold some items was very happy 😊
Great tips! I use the Shopify pos system and I don’t have to use inventory. Have you thought about creating a location within Shopify for pop ups so you don’t have to do inventory again?
I have white boxes and I decided to leave them all at home this time. They take up space and can get damaged and dirty and then I don't want to give them out.. and yes, like you said, extra and wasteful packaging. I got that harder brown paper too trying to save costs and not buy on amazon (who seems to be the only supplier of that crinkle kind!). It is much more difficult to work with I agree! I do the same thing and have never had a complaint. It's just getting thrown away (or hopefully recycled!!)
Thanks so much for sharing this information! It was very helpful. May I ask how is your prep, set-up and back-end preparation different with an outside event? Do you keep your candles/wax melts in coolers and only a few out for display? Any help or suggestions for be very much appreciated.
I wish there was a way to know what people will want that way we don’t have to bring our entiiiire inventory to every event 😭😂 I have one scent, Strawberries and Cream, that alwayyyys outperforms the others but aside from that it can be so unpredictable! I once sold out of Rosewater so at the next event I stocked up on Rosewater and sold NONE lol it must be something in the air i guess haha (,: 😂 I love listening to your vids podcast style while I work! It’s so nice to be able to think to myself “hey i do that too!” or “hmm maybe I should try that next time” (:
Omg yesssss I go through the same thing all the time! Sometimes vinyasa flow does wonderful and other times it sells nothing and I just wish I could predict the future 🥲
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thank you so much for responding, I love when content creators reply back 🥰 I was watching your two part video on the virgin coconut soy wax. I am experimenting with the wax and had used 10% FO. After curing for two weeks and doing the burn tests, I am just not happy with the strength of the scent. Do you have any suggestions or advice? Do you think I could be doing something wrong in my process? I get the wax to a 200 degree temperature, pour the FO in immediately and then stir for about 30 seconds and pour.

Wow, I didn’t even think about bringing two pos systems for my market selling. Great information once again on everything you do, so appreciated!

I'm doing my first ever market tomorrow, perfect timing!
So exciting!! It will be so fun!
If you use the square reader you can track each individual item. You also have the option to not track them.

You might want to plus up the inventory before next weekend. Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.
