Did this video help me get over my fear or spiders? Nope….not one bit, but the build is absolutely astounding! Love the small details that you added and the techniques you used to get the results you were after, some I would never have thought of! Like the way you made the rocks….will try that at some stage for some dioramas I have in mind 😉 Amazing work as always and I’m always learning something new!

The moody flute music is what took this build to the next level.

This video is kind of amazing. You're literally using a bunch of techniques that I've tried in the past and hated it. And making me want to give them another try, good job.

Oh thank you for this video... awesome to see generic stuff being used for dioramas especially for someone like me that cannot afford to buy everything that a lot of diorama youtubers use!!! It looks awesome!!

What a fantastic build that was. It's great how your imagination and vision applies to not only the design, but even the materials you experiment with each time.

The bag technique for pouring resin is genius! I cannot wait to see those Gaslands cars 😉.

You should try adding a very thin layer of vaseline to the top of your resin dam where the water line would be. It really helps with that capillary action creep and stops that lip from forming. That way you don't have to trim and add more resin.

You are an excellent illusionist. The vegetation an this terrible nest look so real . Terrifiant !

That really turned out amazing! I like the new products, the trick to pour the resin and the flocking is fabulous! This looks so realistic and spooky. Definitely need to keep this in the closet at nighttime. Lol!

Ever look at it and wonder if a real spider has moved in to the funnel web? This turned out awesome. I like that in this one you used a lot of different materials, and some I haven't seen in a while. I think average people can watch this and realize this is something they could do with materials they may have never thought of.

And you used the DUCK WEED! Great suggestion from your daughter!

The funnel-web design/effect is brilliant. And never tire of the miracle that is hot glue. But remember brother: Seeing the spider is never the problem, it's when it disappears the problem begins... 🕸🕷

Oh man have I got a horrific story about a monster hairy spider disappearing on my couch. Living here 15 years never saw one... but this one had to run off... I ended up finding him, but I still don't rest easy on the couch haha...

I have used that floating in air hot glue effect before on Haunted Houses. Superb effect. But don't become concerned with dust in the room. It will be attracted to the hot glue and give an even more spooky look.
Great triple version explanation. It added to the story.

A few great techniques in this one! The heated pin, brushing more resin over the cut edge, good stuff!

Love the look at your process - many folk will benefit from the idea of planning and testing a build first. I thought I saw a few rolls in there - I've used them for spore towers for Tyrannids and miscellaneous pipes/tanks in industrial bases. It has taken me months to get back from the "How can I 3D print this?" mindset I picked up after I got my Photon - sometimes the simple way is the best way.

Yeah, EPS foam is super messy. But aside from terrain building, it has superior sound absorbing qualities compared to something like XPS.
About using the hot glue gun like a 3D printer pen - have you tried using a 3D printer pen for your builds yet? I feel like that could be an interesting tool in your belt.

    Not cool man
I mean, the build is VERY cool, but some of us have arachnophobia and making something this creepily photorealistic isn't helping
What's next, sea monsters? Tiny holes?
    But, yeah
Hot glue is amazing for strands
I use it for a magic lichen that creeps along surfaces like vines and messes with nearby spellcasting

    • @TabletopWitchCRAFT

For anyone with ears to hear, Jesus said If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. This yoke is easy to bear, and this burden is light.
