- Craft this interactive runestone for your next Dungeons and Dragons game session. I make use of some excellent products such as the Dark Runes rolling pin by Green Stuff World and Conwy Boards from Terrain Tronics. The runestone stays off until you place a miniature next to the stone! This is a fun craft for all sitting around the table!

that was cool, and the light is a very nice effect looks like an orb floating inside a portal. I was not expecting that.
Well I’m glad it surprised you in a good way haha. Thanks Jos!
Your terrain keeps getting better and better.
I appreciate that, thank you ! !
That resin pour came out crystal clear! Nice job!
Thank you !
I'm looking back through some of the video's we've worked on, over the last few years - this would be an ideal build using one of the terraintronics wiston castle boards!
Oh yeah for sure!
As a long time crafting DM, I have to say one thing...I bleed Burnt Umber! 😆Superb vid, John. Your creativity and talent constantly motivate me to push.
Thank you Tim…. I hear ya on the burnt umber it’s a solid color.
I love the snow effect! Fantastic build and love the finished effects you got with the cooler coloured washes. The little touch of colour with the red flowers breaks up the feeling of cold remoteness and adds some, I spose you could say, humanity to it. Now, you wouldn’t happen to know what colours might go best on an Outhouse of Doooooom! would you 😉
Yeah the touch of blue ink in the wash really made a difference! Now for that outhouse … haha
INCREDIBLE!! I loved watching how the dry brushing brought the texture out on the stone, and then you kicked it up still another notch with the icicles! Your LED minis are truly next-level, and the fact that you reply to every comment is amazing. You rock!
Thanks so much Sara, I'm glad you liked all those details :)
John, this is sooo smart. Such a tasty craft! Too many arthacks for a single video to be real😮
Right on!!! Glad you like it and found it useful!
Dude all these crafts are top notch. You’re an inspiration!
Thank you Mark, I appreciate that :)
I *light up* just like this when a new video of yours comes out.
That's awesome, I'm glad to hear it "brightens" your day :)
Well I am truly impressed.
Now that we have a prove of concept its time to up your dungeon tiles with interactiv LED magic traps.
Thanks :) I have an interactive LED trap video already... not a magic one though... thanks :) !
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT
I know.
I have been stalking ... ähh... subscribed to your channel since I first saw your LED gluestick crystal video.
The interactive model was with your crossbow trap.
Which was when I suggested to make a magic trap related to that.
Like one floor lights up the room and teleports/paralyse/etc the victim.
Another oustanding build! My wife and I have been thouroughly enjoying your videos! Off to go craft!
Thank you for that and for watching! I appreciate the support!
That came out so cool. Love the ice and the led setup
Thank you :)!!
The foil-molding technique to create a box for your board was a great idea. Thank you for another quality video!
Glad you liked it! Thank you !
It’s ironic at the moment that it’s more like Tatooine down here at the moment. Nice piece of terrain.
Haha I can go for that! Thanks :)
Well done. A beautiful piece, not to mention the video is full of great tips, tricks and techniques. Keep em coming!
Thanks, will do!
Wow! All I can say is "Wow!" You've exhausted my vocabulary, Michael! Awesome! Once again you've knocked it out of the ballpark! This build looks so cool with the addition of the runes! I think that's what I like the best. The LEDs are super cool I really like them but the runes add just the right touch!
Thanks Frank :) !! This was a nice refreshing change. I’d like to tackle some more frosty terrain.
Hey Michael! We've been hearing about the bad winter storms y'all are having there in Maine and were concerned as to how you're doing! I've heard that thousands are without power and that it is really bad! I hope you are well! I will be praying for you my friend and hope that all is well!
Thanks Frank, doing well... We were prepared for it :)
i have to click immediately every time i see one of your videos!!! love it
Thank you Grace, I really appreciate that !!!
What an awesome piece. Great use of all sorts of components and materials.
Thank you :) 👍
Such a cool piece, dude. Nicely done
Thanks Zane !
Really nice. I love all the little tips; aluminium to fill voids, UV resin to plug holes, the icicle pulling method, the stone "2nd switch", etc. Super cool
You picked out a bunch, thank you :) !!!
wow so beautiful with many techniques. just keep going john
Thank you, I will!
Maaaan, this looks so good! Glad I watched this to see how those runes on the rocks were made.
Right on RobK!! Thanks for watching!
It’s so dumb how excited it get to see these videos. I makes me want to do all these builds. 🥺
PS i still think it would be cool to do a work shop. And have people pay so much to contribute to to supplies and pay for your time.
Well Shelby, I think its awesome :) I'm glad you like them.
I’d love to do a workshop. I’ll plan one down the road!!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I definitely think there’s enough of a community that people would be willing to pay for it for sure. Especially I know for myself, the wiring and soldering part of things. Videos are grate but they don’t tell you what your doing wrong 😆
Such a cool concept. Great build.
Glad you like it! Thank you !
It's beautiful!
Thank you !
You did great progress on your soldering, good job!
Thank you :) !!
Great quick little build to add some amazing character and affects to one’s table! Great video John. I really like the new paint schemes. Those rollers are fabulous! I love that company. You are right on when you say experiment and try different paints and washes. Your techniques really add too our tool box! Thank you and keep up the amazing work!
Thanks so much Scott. I knew you’d be happy to see some Green Stuff World products :)
Very awesome! I love the lighting and the icicles.
Thanks Art !
This is awesome, that reed l.e.d idea would have worked great in your wheel of time gateway you made earlier id say.
I had plans to add one with lights and even smoke, but I wanted that to be a simple build. Great idea marc!
Really really awesome! Great Job!!!
Thank you !!!
just got my last order of candles (used your code) been buying her candles for a while now, myself and the kids as well really enjoy them burning all thee time!
That's awesome, I'm glad you like them. I really enjoy using them, and thanks for the support!
That Rune maker is awesome. Sold!
Right on, when you order tell them you saw it on the channel :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT will do brother!
Cool build
Thank you !
Very interesting and original.
Thanks Patrick!!!
That looks amazing! I can feel the cold! Beautiful work! I got some of the clear resin you use, I’m making a diorama with some murky water.
Thank you ! Yeah test out the product and see what it can do!
Wow thank you man!
Glad you liked it :)
C'est vraiment magnifique. Bravo a vous !😍
Merci beaucoup
looks cool
Thank you!
That was a fun watch
Thanks :)
Woooah! That's REALLY good, i wonder... if one day you could make the Heart of Darkness from Curse of Strahd, using those LED skills so it cam be EPIC!
Running Strahd now…. Not sure what that is so we’ll see. Keep an eye out on the Strahd playlist!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT sry i meant The "Heart of Sorrow" and i will, thks
Amazing!!!
Thank You :) !!
Another great build! Reminds me I need to get some LED string lights from Terrain Tronics, and some of that nice Superclear epoxy!
Thanks Tim, adding them to your Craft Off submission haha :)
Subbed! just found this channel, love the work!. ill be watching from here on out!!
Right on!! Welcome aboard and thanks for the support!!
You know what dude?! You'll have to find a way to craft another YOU and send it to us here in France. Oh! and don't forget your creativity please. Thanks. Awesome work and video as usual.
Haha, very kind of you :). I’d like to visit France some day… maybe run a workshop with a few content creators on your side of the water!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT If you plan to visit France let me know. It will be a pleasure to welcome you!
AAAAAAAAhhh that looks so cool!
Right on :)
Incredible. :D
Thank you 🙏
Yes please, sign me up to play at your table.
Anytime man, let me know when you get to Maine :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT don’t tempt me, I’m not that far.
Whoa! Sweet! Glad it doesn't explode! LOL ... 😜😱
Same here haha
It would be awesome to play D&D with you!
Thank you Barb :)
You candle guys should sell tealight candles as a sample pack.
They do sell tea light sample packs!! Check them out!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT i missed that. Ill go check them out
Looks amazing! Those little red plants really are the perfect touch to make the piece pop. The background music you use, where does that come from?
Thank you Phil, I thought the red was a nice touch too :). The tunes are from epidemicsound.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I'll have to check it out. The music you use always fits perfectly!
Amazing build!!! wow :-)
Fyi there's a Kickstarter with a very similar name to your channel. ie Tabletop witchcraft. I thought it was you at first. It looks really cool blacksmith products for tabletop gaming. Not sure if that's something you mind or not, just thought I should let you know.
Thanks for the heads up Mike, I appreciate that. ... and thanks for the compliment :)
Yet another fantastic centrepiece! Is Daffyd working on a 'pulsing' circuit? So the light could flicker or pulse, or maybe slowly swell up after the switch is closed as the stone 'powers up'?
He can certainly do that with the board I used in my Krampus video! Thanks Mykl!
John, what exactly is the silicone led light you're using? Those things look awesome!
They are really cool Peter. Head to Terrain Tronics link in the description. He sells them!
On your builds, what size magnets do you use? i have rather large magnets (Got em for free though) but they are a little too big for my build.
Everything I use can be found in the video description if you want to check it all out. The magnets are 3mmx6mm.
For the EL string light, where do you get them in such short lengths?
Hi Jason, link in the video description. Terrain Tronics.
Very cool project, our foam modeling sensei!! It looks like I'll be trying some of those techniques in the near future. -Rick, USMC
Right on Rick!! Can't wait to see your build for the Craft Off!
I had an idea when you were talking about how super-clear the resin is. What would this look like if you added mica powder and back-lit it?
Hmmm... that's an interesting concept.... I'd like to try that? Thanks Jason!
Isn’t that going to be a disco glitter ball. You could also do a dimensional gate with a cracked mirror
@@johntailby74 It probably depends on how much Mica powder is added. I like the cracked mirror idea. If it's the type with an opaque backing you could backlight the cracks!
Make spirited away bathhouse
I'll have to look into this.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT okay
Go check Studson Studio. He did a nice build of that.
the candles seem nice too bad they don't ship to my neck of the woods
Where are you located?
Hi! I'm new on your channel and i found your works amazing! I saw a lot fo your videos about make terrains and...
MAY I CHALLENGE YOU??
I have never found a video of anyone making the interior of a biostarship, like the tyranids hive ships. I think the difficult part is to create a biological aspect, being the inside of a living being, rather than a biomechanical aspect, as many tend to create in certain drawings that I see on the net. What do you think about it? would you like to test yourself and your skills?
First welcome to the channel :) You definitely propose a cool idea.... something I'll ponder.....
First up ;)
