- Come fly with me in a virtual Boeing 737 as I show you how I operate the aircraft from cold dark start to takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, and taxiing to the gate. We're flying from Prague to London today. Enjoy!

8:28 I really appreciate the nostalgia of listening to the default ATC voices 9:06 and 15:13
Oh my god I just learned something new! Runway numbers indicate their heading!
Hector Zambrano >>> Yes, and once in awhile the numbers have to be repainted if the magnetic heading changes over time.
still using fs2004 and fsx - thanks for the links to the checklists
You teach pretty good. I've been flying the Default LearJet 45 for about 2 years. Now, thanks to this vid, I think I'll upgrade. Thanks.
Very nice video! Could you try out the default Boeing 777-300?
As another visitor mentioned, this is different then my FSX, I'll have to check my other 2004 disk cause this is a nicer more complete interior.
When you're using GPS or ILS, the Course Select doesn't affect the actual course. But when you're using VOR, is does affect the course.
LKPR was a pleasant surprise for a Czech guy like me
Funny how the atc still sounds exactly the same in fsx steam edition
It's never changed since FS2002!
You can press Shift+L to turn on the panel lights.
how do i control the aircraft when taxing it keeps on swinging around
just for you own info ..that's not a stall horn going off at 46.13 your going to fast for the flap setting you selected ..at 7 miles you should be stable at 160 knots...and then your target approach/landing speed once you intercept glide slope..your nose shouldn't drop below the horizon at like it did here...your speed was way to fast that's why that happened ...may I ask why you dident manually approach ? was that for tutorial purposes or are you still in the learning stage for that...
+tim addams Thanks for the info! At the time, I was in the learning stages. Manual approaches are a lot more fun now :)
excellent alex...glad your doing well with it....
Prague!
Download link on aircraft, please
It’s the stock 737 in fs2004
Thanks !! :)
Also, for the Beechcraft 1900D: Usually during my flight, My gauges turn off randomly and I usually have to press the generator switch again. Its really odd. Any idea what it might be ? Thanks again
Great video, thanks for sharing. Do you plan on moving to the 747 and the 777 ?
dowload aircraft?
if thats the default b737-400 its mean u downloaded some texture fixes?
How did you start cold and dark? There is no preset, I think
Also, just curious, how do you video while flying. I found the FSX video thing to be a joke.
How can you move the view in the cockpit?
+Augusto Gonzalez I'm using a piece of hardware called TrackIR. It's a bit pricey (~$150) but worth it if you're really into flight or some other types of sims :)
Use Active Camera it free to use
How do you move around freely in fs2004 ? And can you please share your fs2004 settings with us ! It would be greatly appreciated. Btw, huge fan of your videos. To be honest, i suck at fs2004 but it takes a while i guess right ? :)
Thanks for the kind words! The freeware program I use to move my views around is called F1 View Utility for FS2004. Check it out on flight1.com (under Free File Library). My settings are pretty much maxed out because my computer can run FS2004 without a problem (usually). Sims like FS2004/FSX do take a while to get used to... just keep at it. Plus, there's no rush -- it's just a hobby, right? :)
This isn't the default 737 for FS2004, is it? Or is it? Mine looks totally different????
+Minalover100 As far as I remember, this is the default 737 for FS2004. Are you sure you're no in the 747 ;-) If yes, maybe you have a different version of FS2004 than I do; not sure...
Ha, Ha...The 747??? (LOL) I'm not ready to fly around the world yet. The default LearJet 45 and the default 737 is more my speed.
I wish I could use the older FS sims, but I can’t use Space to pan around like in FSX 😔
Active camera
@@getshamim Oh yeah, that exists but only for FS9
ho, how do you move in the cockpit like that?
He uses TrackIR
Is there time acceleration in FS2004?
yes
help how to pan view in VC using keyboard
Did you try mapping the keys under 'Controls'? By default, I think the pan views are using the numpad keys (hit NumLock if they're not working by default)
i tried to assign but its still no assignment, pressing any key doesnt add assign.
What airport was that landing? London has 4 airports, was it Luton?
+EasyPCUK Looking back at the footage, it looks like I flew to EGLL (Heathrow Airport). On my present videos/streams, I tend to include the ICAO code of the airports that I go to to avoid this confusion :)
Alex's Flying Club Thank you! Why FS9 over FSX or P3D then? Just wondering?
