A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Duality is another song of theirs you’d like. Btw, I hadn’t seen anyone mention it, but Slipknot fans are named Maggots.

@@mattberry7057 there’s a sentimental value to the name and a literal meaning. The sentimental value comes from old lyrics. The literal meaning is when you see us in concert we are so close to each other and just swing on everybody like a giant infection in a bloodstream.
Many people have different interpretations of the meaning but dude maggots are so loyal and ferocious
I love Slipknot, not every song but there are quite a few. Nothing like a good Slipknot song to clean your entire house in 5 minutes to.
Though, occasionally you need to buy a new lamp or vase...
I'm right there with you. Some of it is too... harsh (I guess thats the right description?) for me, but quite a bit of it I like.

'Spit it out' and 'Wait & Bleed' are bangers. I caught them at Ozzy's Ozzfest live with my son and they are dope. Corey Taylor the lead singer also has another band that is Stone Sour. It's not as hard but his vocal talents is amazing to be sure. 🤘✌🤘
The more I listen to them, the more I like them.
Please do yourself a favor and check out their Iowa album. It's a little intense but it's amazing.

If you want to see them live you have to check out “Spit It Out” live at download 2009. I went to a concert of theirs back in like 2015 in PA and it was the greatest show I have ever been to.

I am 66 years old and love SLIPKNOT!! Corey Taylor the singer did a solo album, and you need to listen to Black Eyes Blue and Samantha's Gone. He wrote Black Eyes Blue for his wife.

i've been to so many live shows, and by far Slipknot was the best experience. So much energy - you can't help but move and just let loose. They are extremely tight live too which is pretty incredible considering what they're doing. Another band/song I'd recommend you check out is Gojira - Silvera
I'm 65, so I, being a white person back in the mid to late 70s hated Disco, Rock and Roll all the way. When early rap came out, I was like no way. I did like funk. Fast forward to now. I have explored music I never would have heard if I did watch your reactions or other UA-camrs. So, let's all have some fun and pull together. Peace
