The bands evolved over the years. Lost a couple members (Joey, Paul) and the music has evolved as they've aged. I think they've gotten better and better, able to perform just as heavy while doing some more musical numbers. Loooooooooooooooove this band, Loooooooove Corey Taylor's voice!
Yes, all those instruments get played in their live performances. They have two elevated drummers on each side of the stage. It's an incredible experience for a percussionist.
@@DrumRollTonyReacts He has also played while strapped to his set and inverted completely, no matter how many times I watch it over the years It's still impressive. I can barely keep up with his drumming while on solid ground lol.
This is literally the first band I ever got into. They where the ones that got me into music. Before them I didn't really care about music. However after them music because one of the biggest parts of my life. It brings me so much joy to watch you experience them and really break down what took me years to hear with my own ears. Rock on my guy 🤘
Its actually better to ser this specific song live cause the percusionists actually use the drums and the keg, they also play this one lime x1.5 because its a relatively easy song to play compared to others
@@DrumRollTonyReacts it would be great to see that, I recomend you to watch the live in download versión of 2009 or if you want something of the present day I recomend you the live versión of los ángeles 2021 (they are both in yt) great video, greetings from Mexico
Whether you like this kind of music or not, you can't deny that all these musicians are excellent. I discovered Slipknot only two or three years ago. And that was thanks to a video cover from a little drummer called Caleb H. I'm sure you'll enjoy his cover of Eyeless. He was barely 6 years old and he was already a killer! (sorry for my english)
Discovered your channel with JoJo But it's funny because i started to pay attention to drums/percussions in music with this song precisely. I can say i like drums thanks to Slipknot ^^
I don’t know if you’ve listened to them but Corey Taylor has another band called stone sour they do some metal They also do softer stuff I would recommend bother by them it’s a good song
P.p.s. strange you said that you where in your jazz faze when your brother was into Slipknot. I have been a a jazz kick for the last few years and I started on Slipknot 🤔
Probably Ghostbusters or Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure. Also if you’re willing to check out some even heavier music, give this drum cam a shot from Black Crown Initiate: ua-cam.com/video/bZH_8j-ymgc/v-deo.html There’s many many metal drummers out there that can do some absolutely bonkers stuff and I feel like they don’t always get the recognition for their skill that they deserve. Also apologies if this ends up with a ton of people spamming you to check out Bleed by Meshuggah lol
You should react VOB (voice of baceprot) hip metal funky band another talent from Indonesia. They also cover slipknot - before I forget. Original songs : God (allow) me please to play music, (not) public property, school revolution, PMS official MV, whats the holy (nobel) today, age oriented, the enemy earth is you, sundaness instrument. Please also react their performance tour europe at rennes france and pasiwali festival taiwan. Have good cover Killing in the name RATM, Enter sandman Metalica, Sabotage Bestie boys. Thanks bro.. 🤘🤘
Would probably have to say Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Hey Tony, how would you feel about ripping the mask off of Corey Taylor and making a reaction video for his other band "Stone Sour"? Was thinking "Made Of Scars" would be a goer: music.ua-cam.com/video/_tmxCRRmNhM/v-deo.html

The blister exists is another song by them that has a snare drum solo.
You'd probably like that one.
Loved it. Such a banger!
Their DJ ("0", Sid, DJ Starscream) always has the best masks.
My favorite visual thing they do is when the guitar solo starts there's footage of a flame flaring as it goes and i just enjoy that
joey just playing drum in the back round while everyone is just jumping and headbanging: 😇🪑
Its actually better to ser this specific song live cause the percusionists actually use the drums and the keg, they also play this one lime x1.5 because its a relatively easy song to play compared to others
I'm going to find a live version

I would say that the 'flange' you're hearing in the intro is sid on the turntables..?

Great movie
P.s. don't feel bad about bragging about the size of line drum sticks. Metal heads are cool with a little competition 😂.

Good movie
My favorite '80s movie is "Highlander."

You should react to any Joey Jordison drum cam video.

Yea I can imagine
Will you please react to Snuff? It's a more mellow Slipknot song, but it's really good.
BIG
Tom Hanks
Next up: Letters From The Colony - Galax! You can thank me later ;D
Do The Devil in I
Mushroomhead branded the mask and face paint first but I enjoy slipknot not knocking them and mushroomhead had the 8+ member band first as well
Probably Ghostbusters or Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure.

worst pause times ever.. at least go back 5~10 sec so you can feel the song, not just point out chord progressions, etc like a robot =/
🤖 "me so sorry me do better next time random person"
pause too much :( shame
