Morning all! Firstly a massive thank you to Chris who bought me the field table from my Amazon Wish List. Also to the kind viewers who ordered a Little Tool Set, and the LiPo Storage bag! It is all much appreciated and I am very touched by your generosity 😊
@TheRCBiker , what picco engine was it I have the Picco P3-R and can't find the manuel and exploded view anywhere. Was it the same engine and do you have the manuel and exploded view ???
The fact that I stopped doing nitro because they always tend to struggle and went to the electric side but watching this I want to get back into nitro more than ever, all that struggling, tuning, starting up and cleaning it's all part of the hobby I realise Haha
Yes it is, Nitro is definitely a more full on hobby and the maintenance and repairs is part of it. If you just want the bashing side of it with no engine to worry about then electric is the way to go

First off, great video. I wish I would have watched this before taking my Inferno up to the local hobby shop and feeling like an idiot. I am new to this sport and I replaced the spur gear with a steel spur gear because as you know, when doing the break in procedure of the Inferno NEO 3.0 it totally flattens the teeth of the hard plastic spur gear that comes stock. I didn't know the buggy was supposed to roll freely from the start so it was binding. After replacing the spur gear it was still binding so I though it might be a problem with the clutch, so I took that apart. Well long story short It turned out that the gear mesh was too tight and I just had to move the motor back a little to adjust it. So there were two things that I had to do when replacing the 46T spur with the 48T spur that AMain hobbies sent me as a replacement. 1. cut the frame that holds the servo for the throttle linkage and 2. Move the motor back a bit to allow the right gear mesh. This RTR came with the gear mesh set incorrectly in the first place so that is why it shredded the factory spur gear. Now i am getting ready to replace the stock .21 that came with it for a www.ebay.com/itm/154104546105 and replacing the stock wheels and tires for racing wheels and tires, www.ebay.com/itm/232717106117 , www.ebay.com/itm/174891799630, the shocks with www.ebay.com/itm/133066103181 and the hard plastic suspension arms with www.ebay.com/itm/292208297163 and advice would be great. Am i going to have an issue getting that motor and exhaust to fit in this chassis?
You're welcome :) Break in will be soon. Well actually, I've already broken it in and video is awaiting upload! Mac 30 yes I have seen it, will probably get a Hyper Truggy next which I believe has the Hyper 30.
Seeying that expensive Picco exhaust combo get swapped for an rtr standard cheap exhaust combo with rubber coupler was quite painful. I hope you find a header that fits or maybe you can cut some plastic of the Pullstart housing?
Hi Josh. My engine is running at base setting but on full throttle it Boggs out and stalls. Too rich or to lean. Bit frustrating. Any ideas. Cheers drew
G'day. Bought a second hand 1/10 warhead. Cleaned him up, starts. Must be a 2speed. It's got 2spur wheels, but WONT PRIME. Pulled fuel tank out. No leaks. Hoses good. Thinking maybee blocked carb? What U think. Can't seem to see the carb screw to take off to inspect. Any suggestions. Cheers nitro newbee. 😲
If you’re blowing through the exhaust line and can feel lots of pressure/resistance then it’s a blocked carb usually. My advice would be to first blast some carb cleaner or degreaser through the fuel inlet or the carb to save you doing a full strip down and clean
It's a good engine! Bit thirsty on the fuel would be my only negative. 25% is fine, or even 30%. Just run a cold plug with those percentages especially in summer, remember it needs a Turbo type glow plug
Hi there :) Not had an issue with these mounts, I actually find them to be quite good rather than having a set engine position as you can slide the engine forward/backward if you fit something with a longer crankshaft

This guy doesn't deserve a runaway nitro hes such a good guy😥
hopefully no more runaways!
Yeah i wish u luck of the hobby
Believe me when I say this, I've had more runaways than I have rc's, and my pal managed to get an electric runaway.
@@amyclark8950 Thanks :)
@@eddyrejserbil4229 An electric runaway? Crikey... even I haven't managed that !
Nice engine! Good looking car! Love the vid
Thanks for tuning in!
Another Great video with step by step advice for new comers, well done! 👍🏻
Thank you! 👍
I ordered Mc .28, excited to break in and see the performance. Did I saw Mc .30, do try that one? Thanks for another informative video. :)

Chris you table hero you. 😋Nice thing to do.
Very kind of him - it's been used a lot already! :)
Can't wait to hear it run 🤟
Coming soon :)

It's got a Hyper exhaust/manifold fitted now
Please make a video how to install a new transmitter and receiver 2.4 ghz and how we can adjust it :) Keep it up!
I have already done that years ago, it's the same process :)
Great stuff, keep it coming.
Will do!
Hi, do you know what engine I can replace a Tamiya fs-12ss please

Hi Andy, is the fuel actually flowing through the fuel lines to the carb ?

Awesome, do you think the mac 28 engine will fit into the old hyper 7 that originally came with the 21 engine?
Yes it'll drop right in
Nice engine so pretty good
Thanks, yes I like the Mach 28's
Which nitro engine is so fast?
Nice vid sir, can i know where i can get the engine with the full set flywheel and clutch bell. Tq
This one was removed from a new buggy, ordinarily you'll need to buy the parts separately
@@TheRCBiker hi tq brother for info 😊
Very nice
Thanks! :) More coming
I went to the wish list and there are currently no items left to purchase. Would love to help support the channel.
Hey man gr8 video as usual..If i have a SH-18 engine in my rc...can i replace it with a SH 21 engine without any mods?
Is it a 1/10? Depends on the car, usually you'd need some mods to get a .21 into a 1/10. Depends what room you've got!
@@TheRCBiker ohh okay. I have hsp warhead
Nice buggy.
Thanks Joe! Now I've put that engine in it's basically a Hyper 7 😊
How is the mac star28 turbo I have jus bought the hyper ss truggy it has that fitted I'm going to be running 25 per cent nitro is that OK mate

Thanks! : )
Can’t beat a hyper engine
Can tho
Hpi can
agree!
@@kamikazekaos you mean FORCE then? ;)
Please, may I have the table?
I want the table please
I want the table
Make a toyan engine swap
I see it uses the same crappy engine mounts as my old Great Vigor nitro models.
Hi there :) Not had an issue with these mounts, I actually find them to be quite good rather than having a set engine position as you can slide the engine forward/backward if you fit something with a longer crankshaft
What is the name of that car ? Name brand ?
It's an Ofna Ultra LX One, a pretty old model. These days it'd be equivalent to the Hyper 7 if you're thinking of getting one
I think I have that model just brought it last night for $30 no radio or body but have a Spair radio and receiver so it’s cool
That throttle link is well bent
still does the job! :)
Hi how are u Josh
I'm Good Rene, how are you? :)
@@TheRCBiker I'm very good Josh
❤🎉😮😊. ไฟไฟไฟแอดพ์
Please for God’s sake take the damn plastic bag off.
It's not a plastic bag, it's there to stop debris falling into the engine before a glow plug is installed
you need stop tuting before talking
what do you mean?
