I think Rocko assumes you set up the tent and sleeping bag for her. Really cute how she dives in so eagerly.
She loves it in there! Keeps my feet warm... the downside is she can't hear bears approaching in the night

Rocko is literally the perfect dog for your travels
Truly! She is energetic enough to keep up when she needs to. Yet light and compact enough to carry when she can’t!
There’s an unspoken communication between them. It’s beautiful. I believe they both need & appreciate each other.

Hard pack sucks. No real safe way to navigate it. Turned me away from a summit or two. That slot canyon made for some jaw dropping video though

@@shandelebroyles1099 soil that looks like kitty litter but hard and solid 1 cm down. Usually happens after dirt gets saturated by a rainstorm then dried out in the cold. Crampons might bite into it but I don't always bring them when I don't expect snow.

Yes, I was kind a hoping he’d set up camp at that beautiful little lake but the call of the van & the beer was too strong.

I don't know how you do it my man, I'd somehow manage to carry a defender shotgun if nothing else but to allow me to not swivel my head off as I walked in fear of being some grizzly's last supper before hibernation....augh!!!! No sooner are you finished with a 5 day grueling and epic adventure that most people would take weeks to recover from, and you are off again into the wilderness for 3 more days of trekking in the unbelievably gorgeous Yukon backcountry of Kluane National Park. It appears that Kluane is in your blood!!
All your videos are awesome, but these last couple have been just so amazing. It’s such a joy to see the beauty of these wild places, to know they still exist, and to see the big smile on your face makes me smile too! It blows me away to see Rocko traveling all these miles with you! What a fantastic companion! Thank you for taking us along…so much joy!!!

Another amazing hike! I love how Rocko is hard at it all day but as soon as the blue sleeping bag hits the inflatable pad, she is right there to snuggle in.
