  • Heard from a friend about the Lackawanna heritage unit would be possibly leading NS H70. First stop was Ramsey, NJ to see if the rumor was true. Was al set up for the NJT train ahead of the NS H70 and was happy to see it have a F40 leading. A few minutes later, NS H70 comes through town with NS 1074 leading! Later, my friend and I drove up to Campbell Hall, NY to watch the train switch out the yard there. We were the first to show up out of few others looking to watch the train. The last one was some hotshot dope with flashes. Yeah, that's a good way to piss off the crew. So that explains the flashes in my videos from the station. Guy seemed to think he was hot stuff, and had a stick up his ass. I had to yell at him to stop the flashes for like a minute so I could take some pictures. Hate guys like that. But no matter, I gained the high ground and got a few shots of the train pulling ahead and shoving back. The crew was polite and smiled, to me at least, not the jerk with the flashes. This is the second heritage unit I've seen, and I'm not tracking them or hunting them. f they show up close enough to me, I'll go see them. That being all said, this was really a nice treat. Enjoy!
